I’m glad I chose this hotel for my stay. Location was very convenient. Right off the 99, down the street is a shopping mall with many different stores and restaurants. The place was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. When I go to Bakersfield again, I will stay there.

We opted for the room with a spa that was $75 more a night. The spa would not hold water, so i pulled the stopped and it would not go down to seal became there was so much hair in the drain. The tub itself was starting to crack (you could see the top coat flaking off and seeinh the 2nd layer (it was pink or beigr) of the tub. Also on the headboard of one of the beds had the words 'nasty body' written in oil or some kind of grease on it. The staff was great but paying extra for an amenity we couldn't use is a huge disappointment.

The pictures that were shown online as to how the room would look was not how the room was. When we brought it up they stated that the pictures didn’t mean the room would have all those things (ex the living room area). The room also had dirty towels behind one of the couches which we took pictures of. Overall service was great but rooms weren’t as clean.
my room was fully paid and I still had to submit a 100 dollar deposit. Check in took forever for each customer as they had to explain the deposit and collect it in some manner. I feel bad for the people who had to go back out to get their car license number. The lot is supposedly secure but all of the posted treats were against guests.
My biggest concern was that this hotel was in a safe location. It was near lots of retail a food options and next to a mall, Target and a Dollar store. I brought my dog and they were great places around the perimeter of the mall where I could safely run and walk my dog. There was even a donut shop a few doors down. The room was pleasant but we were next to the business center and the front desk so the phone would go off regularly.
The receptionist when I checked in was very nice, incidentally it was the same person when I checked out 12 hours later, was still also very nice. Unfortunately, the smell of Marijuana throughout the hotel put me off, as well as the mold growing in the bathroom on the felling.
Room was reasonably clean but the carpet was all stained. Rose who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable.
