This was a convenient hotel for our trip into the Badlands. Our room was newly remodeled and very nice.

The room was much nicer than we expected - a wonderful surprise. Breakfast was good, altho only available till 9am. The location was great, walkable to restaurants and shopping in town. Our room was not serviced when we came back after being gone all day. The front desk person was very apologetic, said they were short staffed, and brought us towels and shampoo. The next day we stopped by the front desk as we were leaving to remind them to service our room. The man working, looked up and said we needed to remember to take off the do not disturb sign. We told him we had, just as we'd done the day before. He ignored us. When we got back later, our room had been serviced but barely. Towels were left on the counter, the bed was straightened but not 'made', and coffee was not replaced. The internet connection was spotty, but the TV reception was good.

The room was clean, but everything was dated. The swimming pool was outside. The breakfast area was so crowded we had to sit outside to eat. Looking back I would have just driven and hour to the next city and stayed there.

Friendly staff, close to downtown, and good value for the price.

Checked in around 8:30pm, carpets were damp from recent cleaning. This was apparently true of most rooms. Rooms are clean, but out dated. Breakfast is adequate. I wouldn't stay here for more than a night.

Good, clean, comfortable room. Reasonable price. The hotel staff was friendly. The free WiFi worked.

Very clean and a great value for the money! Great walking distance the pool was closed however it looked nice. Breakfast was a hot one including french toast sticks, eggs, sausage, and then your normal everyday contintial breakfast.

this hotel was in the right place. just as you get into town. close to a place to eat and get gas. very comfortable and clean. staff was helpful. I will stay here again.

Checked in late...the lady was sweet and helpful! The breakfast was pretty good considering it was a continental style! Close to everything...ate at the best place in Wall called the Cactus even though the hotel refered us to the bar and grill in town...we actually went to the said bar/grill and walked out. It had the worst customer service I've ever seen in all my travels...so went next door to the Cactus not expecting greatness but the man running that place made me wanna return to Wall maybe every year...he made the whole trip worth it...but this hotel had a pool and convenience of right off the freeway! All in all a alright place to stay!

The room was average. Paid for a Queen bed, only got a double. Dirty wash cloth was left in the bathroom, hair left on the shower curtain. There are additional fees if you have a pet that were not listed on their website. Overall, it was fine for the cost and what we were looking for which was just a pit stop on a cross country trip.

The advertisement photos must be photo shopped. There must also be a "show room " our room was not the online picture & was dirty, terribly outdated, cheap and did I mention dirty? The location was the only thing that was as advertised. We stayed one night. Never again.

The hotel was great but your fees were shocking. We saved nothing. Will never use you again

We booked on line the day of the stay and were given a room with 2 queen beds and a futon. They have recently redecorated and it is really nice. The room had wood floors and an electric fireplace. The only problem we had was the fireplace did not give out any heat. We didn't check with the management to see what was wrong though. We just used the heater. The only other feature I didn't like was the outside staircase. It seemed to me that it would have been very dangerous in the snow or ice to carry your suitcases upstairs. Otherwise the beds were comfortable and the colors in the room were pleasing.

Spent Thanksgiving weekend 2013 at this lovely hotel. Obviously, not many fellow travelers were around. Reserved a king sized bed and was surprised to see my room have two queen sized beds. I didn't complain a single bit. Relatively cheap rates and everything was in working order. Very nice and clean and close enough to the Badlands to make multiple visits.

Pleasant staff, convenient to tourist activities including the Badlands, groceries, gas, interstate. The room had new carpet, bathroom flooring, beds, bedding, pillows, tv, microwave, refrigerator, and a/c. That meant that all electronics WORKED! Not a given in this category of hotel in my experience. Also, the room smelled fresh. It was quiet within reason, meaning you could hear people walking around upstairs but being mostly serious travelers, folks were quiet and courteous. Honestly, if I could move this hotel to every town I stop in, I would. But it was pricey, in my opinion. Still, a comfortable room is worth it; comfort is not a given.

This place was super cheap looking although comfortable. The pool was closed when we were there and the wind was slipping through a crack in our window making this awful howling sound. Was okay but not worth the price.

I enjoyed my 2 nights stay at Americas Best Value Inn. The receptionist was really friendly and they are really pet friendly (i.e. you can leave your dog in your room if you'd like to, which is great when you travel solo with your pet). This is a very laid back motel and, providing you don't expect a 5 stars hotel, you will love it as I did!

Very close to Wall Drug, Wounded Knee museum, and northern part of Badlands. Staff was courteous, room clean. All four of the mattresses in our rooms were very worn and uncomfortable. The hot breakfast was okay.

Worst hotel we stayed at all week, not comfortable and the sheets felt like sandpaper. Continental breakfast was terrible, they had gravy and biscuits and some strange mini pancakes that my kids would not even eat because they said they tasted funny . My curling iron broke and almost burned my child because the only outlet for the bathroom was on the opposite wall, so it was plugged in behind my back on the wall when I was trying to use it. My kid of course had to use the potty and my cord was stretched across so he got tangled in it and it fell on the floor and broke on the tile. On a positive note, the staff were ok and the the place was not dirty but not super clean either..
