While this property is a good ten mile from I80 the site was well maintained and the the clerk at the front desk gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner in town. We'll be back on our next trip.

No elevators room smelled moldy will not stay there again

Swimming pool still closed and not fix ac in rooms need to be updated or cleaned out so it can run more efficiently and breakfast need to be better selection

Location is good, pool out of service would have been good to know . Surprised there was no fridge in room and acouple of lights didn't work

The breakfast was biscuits a gravy and waffles. I would like to have had scrambled eggs. I realize you cannot please everyone but all items high in carbohydrate. Also all of the yogurt was gone by 6:00@m. I realize you did not get your yogurt order the day before but maybe Hyvee had a few containers. I did eat an orange which was very good.

The room smelled so badly of mold and mildew it was disgusting. Others that we knew there said the same thing. The room looked clean so I have no idea what it was from. The bath towels are so thin you can see through them. My towel the first morning actually had holes in it.

The hotel is clean but basic. However, for what I paid, I think it was a very good value. Staff are always helpful and courteous. Basic breakfast and amenities. I did not use the pool so cannot speak as too its condition. Room was quiet. I have stayed there multiple times.

This is one of two choices for a hotel in Harlan. I have stayed here before and experience has been similar. Rooms were clean but not immaculate; towels a bit skimpy but adequate. Breakfast typical and staff good about keeping it stocked and the area clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was closed (it was Christmas Day so not sure if staff issue or mechanical problem) but looks to be a reasonably good sized pool for a small hotel.

We wanted 2 bed on first floor. Needed grab bars! Wanted 2 beds elsewhere. The grab bars were available with handicap room. Were not told that room had only one bed. So the experience was not perfect. In fact that room has a lot to be desired. No sink in room with toilet. Sink in major room had very little space to set things on. It did not seem to be great for a handicap person.

I needed a place for a quick overnight stay. Check in was easy, room was quiet.

Very disappointed and disturbing to get a wake up phone call at 5 AM. Not ours, had been put in computer as a 'daily' rather than a 'one time' as explained by the counter person later that AM. Took a half hour to get back to sleep as planning to sleep until 7:30. This a Maaajor faux paux. Still waiting for a phone call because suspect my prescription sun glasses left in the room. Maybe not?

Nice accommodations for weekend family event. Weather was frigid but rooms and pool were comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and breakfast offerings were fresh and good variety.

Very comfortable room but the walls mst be paper thin. I woke up both nights at 3 am to the sounds of staff in the hallway outside my door. Would definately ask for a second floor room if I stay there again.

We've stayed here a number of times since it opened, but the last two times, especially this one was quite disappointing. It is apparently under new management -- but one that is short on knowledge and know how related to the hospitality business. Just one example: we stayed for one night. When we went to breakfast the next morning (about 7 a.m.) and came back to our room before 8 a.m. our key cards did not work. When I went to the desk I was told that the "machine" automatically cancels the key cards, not waiting for the customer to indicate they are vacating the room. I suggested the clerk get the "machine" changed, but I got a look that indicated he thought I was a pain in the posterior for being aggravated. There were other problems checking in as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Settle Inn to visit with our son and his family. We booked the whirlpool room and we were very pleased with the room. It was a very large room, larger than we were expecting. It was close to the side door so we didn't have to carry our luggage very far. The TV was located so you could watch it while lounging in the whirlpool. We were in the whirlpool twice during our stay, about an hour each. It was just large enough for 2 people, provided you didn't mind sharing some legroom. The best part is that it only cost about $17-$20 more than the room we were going to book to start with.

Good price & good breakfast included. Clean and nice bed.

Was in visiting family and stayed in this hotel. Was a very comfortable night spent here. Nice beds with clean rooms. Continental breakfast was excellent and the pool looked well kept. I will stay here again.
