When I arrived at 11 pm (the hotel details on the confirmation said guests would be able to check in until 12 am), no one was there to open the doors to the front lobby and no one was at the front desk either. There was a phone on the side of the building for late check in (after 11 pm), but the phone did not work. Soon, several other people were stuck trying to check in. After an hour of calling the hotel and Orbitz, I was finally able to cancel the reservation, though it was a complete hassle to get a refund. I felt horrible for the many other visitors who weren't able to check in on a late night.

The exterior outside the lobby was a bit shady. The small lobby was less to be desired. There was a huge pile of towels on the counter to be folded. Checking in it felt more like a 2 star hotel, although the receptionist was very kind. The room was very clean and updated. I was very pleasantly surprised. The only negative was that the refrigerator was making noise throughout the night, but I was too tired to try to switch rooms at that point. All in all I was pleased. Would have liked to see a cleaner entry, but overall it was OK. I would rate 2.5.

There was not even a plastic cup to fetch water. No coffee maker or any other basic kitchen ameneties provided

Hotel is run down. No Maid service. Otherwise it's ok Convenient to arboretum and northwest austin Not a lot of restuarant last in walking distance. Breakfast is limited and not quite early enough. 6am start.

All in all was enjoyable. Feels less like a hotel and more of a residence.

For the price of the room and considering its an "extended stay" I assumed there would be a bit less of a cat urine smell to the room. Unfortunately not the case. Also the sheets still had hairs all over them and looked dingy at best. The room its self seemed clean, as well at the bath room but the bed was questionable. Would stay there a again in pinch but will look else where next time.

We stayed here for Austin City Limits Music Festival and the location was not too far away with enough to do around the hotel for food. We did have to wait a while for someone to come up to the front desk upon check-in even though we could hear them in the back. We were not told that to get fresh towels we had to bring in our used ones. Also, the room did not have all the soap / shampoo we needed and we had to ask at the front desk.

Only here for one night and it was fine for a place to sleep. Not the cleanest place, oddly no hair dryer in the room (though there was an iron and various kitchen accoutrements). Pretty convenient to get to.

I requested a NON-smoking room. I was given a smoke filled room. When I complained, the desk clerk was rude! She said I had the last room, so I was stuck with it! Funny thing, only half the rooms seemed to be occupied. I got sick from the smoke! VERY upset!

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in smelled like cigarette smoke. I carry febreeze in my car and wasted almost the entire bottle on that room... But it still stunk. Thank goodness I was there for only one night! The bathtub had black stuff in it and there was a spider also. I would've complained, but I was in a rush to just drop my luggage and head out to an event. When I checked out, I notified the girl that the room stunk of smoke- she said because I booked on This website, I get any room available, even if my preference is non-smoking. I didn't even know there were still smoking rooms available at hotels... Anyway. I'm considering booking straight with hotels if I am going to be treated like a 2nd rate visitor for using This booking site. I've read other reviews where hotels do the same thing to Online booking customers.

We chose this hotel because we went to the F1 Grandprix in Austin and you can imagine there weren't many choices left 1 month before the event when I was looking for hotels in the area, besides the ridiculous amount of money this and all other hotels in the area where charging for that weekend. First of all we received a smoking room when we had reserved a non smoking room , according to them they where booked due to ther race. Then we had no soap or any other essentials in the bathroom, the bathroom door would not close and apparently the walls are very thin because you could here every little noise from the people next door, cars on the highway, and drunk guests coming in at 2 am yelling at each other. Definitely will not stay here when we return for the Grand Prix next year.

Staff was very helpful checking in and out and giving food advice. Breakfast choices were sufficient. Maybe add hard boiled eggs and dry cereals. Internet was great.

Arrived on Friday nite late. The front desk staff was friendly and capable. Disappointed that we were placed in a room on the backside of the property, but not a major concern. The room itself is a different story. Although we requested a non-smoking room, the room smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we had to wash even the clothes we did not wear upon our return home. This was an extended stay hotel, so it comes with a kitchen and table. Unfortunately, the room is, at best, a standard sized hotel room so it was very cramped. I have worked on extended stays and this room would be too small for anything more than a weekend. Everything was clean however. I was battling a cold and there were no tissues in the room so that was a minor inconveinence. We left the room Saturday AM after a decent night's sleep on the queen bed. When we returned on Saturday night, it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned as the bed was still unmade and the wet towels were still in the bathroom. I went to the front deak to get more towels and they were very accomodating and apologetic. I was never told that there would be no housekeeping on Saturday or I would have been more careful with our towel usage. Overall, we chose the hotel because they gave us a favorable rate for the weekend. We didn't expect much, but the smell in the room and the lack of housekeeping left much to be desired.

The hotel was essentially OK, but a bit noisy because of other guests. But what really irked me was that there were extra charges for various speeds of (wireless) Internet access. This was not specified on their web site (nor on o-r-b-i-t-z). The basic Internet speed was pretty bad (it could have been through others using it or bad reception) and it was very disappointing for doing actual work.

Great stay , could not have been better staff was great , room very clean

For an extended stay hotel the room was very small. Thankfully we only were staying one night. The biggest issues was the bed, like sleeping on a board. Very uncomfortable. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, and the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

The staff at the hotel was very nice upon checking in but when we got to our room, it was awful!!! The floors were dirty, the bathroom toilet seat was wet(no idea what the mystery liquid was), there was a man gravy stain on the chair next to the bed, found a spider in the bed, and the walls must be thin because we could hear conversations from our neighbors. Overall, I can't believe we paid what we did for this room because it was definitely not worth it.

For a business trip, this was fine, but I didn't really take advantage of its best features, like the kitchenette. For a vacation stay with my wife, it would be nice and economical. Everything looked nice and clean, but there was still a slight "cheap motel mustiness". It did seem to clear out a little during my 3 days. Perhaps I got used to it. It was within walking distance of the U of T Reseach Park, the prime reason for selection, but there are no sidewalks in the area.

This room stunk and also the carpet was very dity. When I got there it had a heavy smell of bleach and later turned, off the air conditioner, what a mistake. The bed, pillow and room smelled heavy in smoke and it just had a bad odor.
