Courtyard Austin Downtown/Convention Center

We were disappointed to find that although it is still listed and pictured on Orbitz the hot tub no longer exists here!

The Courtyard and Residence Inn appeared to be mirror images of each other and share the same building. It was located close to everything downtown, but the rooms were small, noisy, and very, very basic. The decor seemed like it was right from the 1980's, small couch with rough fabric, commercial carpet, small bathtub, etc. I would not have complained if the rate was a third of what I was charged, but I've stayed in much nicer rooms with more amenities in top cities for less money. Kind of turned me off the whole Courtyard brand.

The room was nice and clean. We asked for a late checkout of 12:00 and the front desk declined our request. We had to be out by 11:00 a.m.. Will we not stay there again.

We stayed one night and it was good for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel staff sent up delivery menus when they told us their cafe had already closed. It was quiet and they have quite a nice store for late night snacks. Parking is a little expensive in the garage but it beats the alternative.

Great location to convention center. Excellent staff. Comfortable rooms. Great fitness center. Champions is great and Starbucks in building too. Just a few blocks from great food and entertainment.

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and had no issues with service. With it being close to many bars I was woken up every night due to people shouting and partying in the room next door. They were also many people in the hallways with drinks in their hand. Breakfast is $13 a day which for $209 a night I would expect it to be included. Parking is also $29 a day. Also the inputs on the TV are disabled so you can't use any HDMI or VGA devices in. I had two reservations for two weekends and decided to cancel my second reservation after my first weekend to stay somewhere else.

This was a very nice hotel, convenient location, with a very courteous and helpful staff. Restaurants were close by. The room was very comfortable with a couch and a desk, too. We didn't need a car as we could walk to the convention center as well as to bars and restaurants and to see the bats fly!

This hotel is a perfect fit for our yearly trip to COTA in Austin. They accommodated parking my husband's over-sized F-250, parking it out front even though space is very limited. Every staff member we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. It's a decent walk to the Capitol, Sixth Street and the river. There is a Starbucks in the Lobby and the restaurant was good. We will probably be back next year.

We could not have asked for a better location for this hotel. The accommodations were nice and comfortable and the parking is also very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or personal travel in Austin

Location near Austin nightlife was ideal. The staff checked my ID and noticed it was my birthday. My wife and I were given complimentary breakfast at the hotel restaurant, very good food, and free Starbucks, located in the hotel. Rooms were very clean with plenty of space. Definitely will visit this hotel again. A little expensive on the day we went because of a convention in town, but most of the time worth the cost.

Nice rooms with friendly staff in the middle of tall the downtown action.

Nice hotel but staff is sensitive to any kind of noise in the rooms. Not a good place for people looking to have a good time in there room. However the hotel was nice if you don't mind being silent in your room.

I needed to be downtown for business and the location was perfect. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was great. There was a loud group that made it home at 3 am and woke me up, but other than that I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was great - suggestions, helping with lost luggage and generally very friendly. Location is terrific for getting around. Bed could be softer and lighting in bathroom brighter.

We went the weekend of a UT home game, so the price was jacked up. The location is great if you plan to entertain yourself downtown. The bed was very comfortable, but the noise from the hallway was ridiculous. I've stayed here before and may likely stay here again, if the Hilton is booked.

Perfect location if you're wanting to go to 6th street to have fun! Room was great and clean!

Not the best for the money but good location, close to all the fun.

My wife and I traveled with our two teenage daughters to Austin and had a great night in the hotel. Clean, friendly, new, comfy beds and good air conditioning. Definitely would stay there again.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very courteous and helpful. My room was nicely decorated, & the bed was really comfortable. The cleaning crew did seem to have "missed a spot" while cleaning the toilet seat- if it was even cleaned at all, prior to my arrival. Aside from that glaring omission, it was a nice place to stay.

Fantastic! Great service, and right in downtown Austin!
