I would never stay here again, the hotel reeks of smoke. It's worse in the hallways but you can smell it in the rooms as well, even though there is a sign in the room warning of a fee if you smoke.

Our stay at this hotel wasn't the best, but hey. It's a low budget hotel and we needed somehwere last minute. This was fine.

We stayed the night before we were leaving for a flight out of Augusta. Our flight was first thing in the morning and this hotel was SOOO convenient to the airport, it literally only took us 5 minutes to get there! It was inexpensive, conveniently located and clean. A little dated, but, all we did was sleep there so it was fine. It was a very quiet and safe area. I can't speak for breakfast or any other amenities as we got there late and left early early morning. We'd definitely stay there again.

not the prettiest but we always stay here when i am visiting family in Gardiner. everone is really great, close ammenities, food shopping highway etc.

We always stay here when I visit my folks. We always get two beds so if our kids stay they can. we have a tradition of Margaritas whichis across the street. perfect to get some sleep and not spend a lot on a room I only need to sleep.

The mattress and pillows are great. Good sleep, quiet area but still near many stores and places to eat.

Two night stay. Staff was great and friendly. Only two complaints...pillows were horrible. Couldn't get comfortable to save my life. Breakfast is practically non-existent. Very poor selections for their breakfast.

Everything in this hotel contributed to its almost perfect hospitality - except for the WIFI - the worst in all the hotels I've been to. I would have wanted to stay longer - because of the comfort, cleanliness, courteous staff, location - but decided to leave since I need a working and decnt WIFI connection wherever I go. The WIFI just came and went, and it was disgusting that I need to log in almost every 3-5 minutes! Losing connection in the middle of something was not in my plan. So I left earlier than I had planned.

Just had to stay one night, and it was a good night. The hotel offers smoking rooms, but one can't tell they're in a non-smoking. Nice bed, great breakfast. Recommended!

The Augusta Super 8 was an okay hotel, and fine for the price. Hotels in the area were going for almost double, so this price was more than reasonable. The room was reasonably comfortable and quiet, and the lobby staff was excellent. Very friendly. The location is ideal - directly off a traffic light, major shopping malls and restaurants across the street, and quiet views out the back of the hotel. The shower was a little grimy around the bottom so I avoided it, but the bedding and towels were clean. A continental breakfast is provided in the small lobby area and although we did not try it, people seemed to enjoy it.

very friendly at check-in. nice room, quiet neighborhood. would stay again.

Great location, great price, clean room, friendly staff. The hotel is close to downtown Augusta and less than an hour's drive to the Maine coast. If you need a place to lay your head at a reasonable cost, even in the peak summer season, this is a great hotel. Several restaurants are nearby, one directly across the street, and many a short drive away. An excellent value if you're not too picky and want a clean room.

I was looking for an affordable, conveniently located motel and this filled the bill. Only notable debit was a TV that did not work.

Come and go as I please no issues at all

friendly staff, but the room was small, the heating unit made loud noises all night long, and the breakfast was great if you like sugary, hi carb food (bad if you actually care about what you eat).

Use the money you save and buy a couple of flea collars and some air freshener.

We were there on family business. We always stay there when go to Augusta.

We used this hotel just for a one night stay on our way up to Canada. The staff was very friendly and the location was good. The hotel was easy to find, located right off of the highway and there were a variety of stores & restaurants near by. The room wasn't the cleanest and it was very simple, but if you're simply looking for a place to crash for the night, it works for the price.

Good Service and location

the staff was pleasant. The room was cold, waited 10 minutes for the heater to work. They changed my room, and that heater worked. Otherwise, no frills, but fine.
