ECCO Suites - Augusta

The hotel was nice, The king room was large with sitting area. the fridge was larger than you normally see in hotel rooms. The grounds were very nice with large grassy areas which is great for those of us with pets. The breakfast was above average but not the best I have had.

The stay was fine. The breakfast spread did nto include standard cold cerelas of any kind.

The ECCO was a great find; all the amenities, clean, convenient and modern. Unfortunately for the hotel, the deal attracted clientele that made the stay a nightmare. Sure, you can't pick your customers but the hotel should have the staff and policies that prevent a large, disruptive and inconsiderate group from totally wrecking half the other hotel's guests stay. We had a multi-family group that decided to make the pool there personal party venue. The very loud music blaring until well after 11 pm was heard five stories up in our suite. Even when this problem was brought to the staff at 10 pm, when quiet was reasonably expected, it did not change. The third complaint resulted in moving to another room at 11 on a different floor, which was not nearly as nice or the same level of the room we paid for. Of course, our luck, some the same yahoos from the pool were staying across the hall and after considerable door slamming and raucousness in the hall until after midnight, sleep was finally possible. Cherry on top: no apologies at check out or questions about how our stay was. No credit for the downgraded room. Will NOT be back but too bad since the hotel was nice but as the saying goes about sleeping with dogs.

From check in to when we checked out the staff was amazing. The included breakfast bar was good and and filled my teenagers bellies up in the morning. My wife is a coffee drinker and was pleased that there was always fresh coffee all day and everyday. The room we had was big enough for the 4 of us, our room had 2 queen beds with a pull out bed sofa. It would have been nice if the sink area was separate from the shower area ( so that somebody could shower while other brushed teeth etc.) or an additional sink by the kitchenette area would have worked as well. Overall, the room was nice and most important the room was clean.

This hotel is super convenient to I-20 and is a bargain compared to several neighboring hotels. It was very clean! The room was very spacious. We were well rested and ready to get back on the road.

The staff went out of its way to make our stay pleasant. Extremely pet friendly, which meant a lot, traveling with two cats. Breakfast was very filling. Good location too.

The facility is very nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. My only complaint was the bed was very firm which didn't make for a good night's sleep. If I had to go to Augusta again I'd probably try one of the many other hotels in the immediate area simply for a better mattress. The price was certainly good and the other hotel amenities were fine.

Convient location, very clean and great staff, check-in was a breeze.

A black lady that works in the kitchen for the morning breakfast was very rude to me for no reason at all, which is a shame, because the front desk staff was outstanding.

Everything was great except for the mattresses, they were very hard. My husbands back began to hurt and I sleep on my side and my side was sore. I didn't know that this hotel was pet friendly, so that was another an easy thought.

Met expectations. Staff was friendly. Checked in and out with no problems. Location wasn't secluded and wasn't in the midst of everything. I enjoyed my stay.

This is an older hotel that's been renovated. The rooms are nice. Full size fridge and microwave. Other pros include the cleanliness of the room and the hotel as a whole. And the waffle maker at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast--- Cons: the breakfast (many consider this a pro) Uhhh--- it's more than you'd expect but it wasn't good. Eggs, bacon, biscuits, cereal, muffins, oatmeal. Guess I wanted an omelette station or something. Lol It's a decent place to stay: clean and safe. Not super upscale but defiantly NOT A dump. 3.5 stars. Ps: the bed was HARD but the great pillows leveled the playing field.

This hotel is a little more than what I would normally like to pay, but it was WORTH IT! The quality of the breakfast was amazing. Normally when a hotel says they have continental breakfast, you don't expect eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, sausage, biscuits, etc....and that's what they have IN ADDITION to the normal milk and cereal, bagel, fruit, juice, etc. I mean seriously, I normally go out for breakfast when I stay at hotels that have continental breakfast included, but this hotel made it possible for me to not have to do that b'c breakfast there is so good. And the great staff at this place made my stay so wonderful. They would greet you each time you came and went to the hotel or ate in the lounge. We felt welcomed from the moment that we arrived. They are truly amazing people that make the stay all the more worth it. And the rooms? Yeah, those were so clean and comfortable that I was able to fall asleep. I never fall asleep easily in any bed but my own, but I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit those pillows....that's how comfortable the beds are. Our room was the double queen beds and it was spacious, the couch was a pull-out, which made my youngest daughter thrilled that she didn't have to share with her older sister. The cleaning staff really know what they're doing and I commend them, b'c with a room that size it would have been easy for them to cut corners, but they didn't. Then there's the fact that there is so much to do just down the street from this place. All around, I highly recommend this place to those that are debating between this place and somewhere else.

I asked for a first floor room and the last room available was located near a very loud elevator room/door.... couldn't sleep.

Staff was beyond courteous! The room was clean and breakfast was great! Will definitely stay again

Older hotel still had stale smoke smell in our room even though it is currently non-smoking. We arrived late after traveling from Atlanta and desk clerk said we almost were too late because she had to do the nightly audit. We had prepaid so why was our room in danger? Nice amenities was a full sized refrigerator in the room. Good breakfast and good wifi!!

Hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was excellent.

Hotel was clean. The living room area is great. It has a couch, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is great, bacon, sausage, eggs, a large variety. Great stay overall for the price.

The stay was great. The staff is always helpful. The facilities are good. It's a great deal! Augusta is a good city too.

Great experience, as always. The staff is always friendly and the facilities are good.

Thank you very much for staying with us. We greatly appreciate your feedback. We do have a 3 tiered display case for our Kellogg's brand cereals that sits on the right side counter.

Dwight, We are extremely embarrased that this was your experience while staying with us. We agree that the basketball team that was staying with us was completely out of line, and extremely distruptive to our other guests. I will speak with the desk staff from that evening and remind them of our procedures that are in place for misbehaving groups. The majority of our guests are well manored and respectful. We will be more vigilant in the future for those that are not.
