We had to go to a funeral nearby and needed a pet friendly hotel. This was a great choice. It was surprisingly clean to be pet friendly. The BEST part of the stay was that I left my expensive camera in the room. It was turned in immediately. Someone from the hotel called me right away. I had gotten too far away to turn around so they shipped it to me! Their honesty has gotten a loyal customer here!! I have family in the area and when I return, this will be my hotel!
My family of 5 stayed here after attending an AU football game. We have stayed at several different hotels in & around Auburn and normally try to find something closer, but this was on our way to & from AU right off the interstate and was a great price-esp for a game weekend. We will definitely stay here whenever possible. The rooms were comfortably & very clean (this is coming from someone with mild OCD). The outdoor pool was great to cool off in. But best of all, the staff was so accommodating, allowing us to check in at 11 am instead of the normal 3 pm, which allowed me to take a nap before the game. They also let use check out late, at 1 pm instead of the normal 10 am, allowing us to sleep in after a late night & giving the kids time to enjoy the pool. I really appreciated this. It always makes me mad when you ask for an early check in and they say they can't because the room has to be cleaned, and they can only extend your check out 1 hour because the room has to be cleaned, but half the hotel is empty. I also love the way the rooms were set up. We had two adjoining rooms, 1 room with 2 queen beds and 1 room with a king bed and sleeper sofa. That way, each of my 3 kids had their own bed. A perfect set up for our family.
Was heading back home to NC and we end up at this Quality Inn. Was a quiet and clean place. We had a good night sleep, Beds were so comfortable that I asked clerk at Front Desk if I can take beds home.
Two nights in a "non smoking" room, The smell of old cigarette smoke was awful. The room was adequate, but not overly clean, and only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths with hand towels for the room. If you use more than one towel you have to request more from the office. On a positive note, the hot breakfast was a surprise with its variety. Eggs, meat, biscuits, sausage gravy, waffles. Lots of choices, all hot and plentiful. The young man that checked us in was really nice and took care of checking us in quickly even though it was time for him to go off shift.
We stayed here one night. There were a few things that did not work smoothly in room such as the room door. It was very clean and relatively comfortable. Staff were professional. Can't say a lot other then not the best hotel and definitely not the worst.
The hotel is very nice. The rooms are well kept and nice. The pool is great. Nice hot breakfast. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would stay again the next time I am traveling through Alabama.
Lobby: Clean, Bright. Customer Service: Very Good. Room: Clean and Comfortable: Overall: Recommend This is a very nice hotel with a great location. I had two room, 1 with 2- queen bed and another with 1- king. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Customer Service was very good and helpful. The breakfast was very nice, lots of choices and free coffee. The beds were new, you can feel it. It was getting new paint outside during our stay. Overall I would recommended this hotel.
Everything seems freshly painted and you can see they’ve updated carpet and furnishings in lobby. King smoking room has new wood laminate flooring which is nice. But there’s only one office desk chair and no other place to sit, except for the bed! No table and no tv channel information or local info in the room (like local attractions or places to eat). DirecTV remote is unable to control volume. Annoying. Mostly it’s the lack of a sitting place that is a mystery. Called the desk and apparently this is the norm for smoking rooms here. We have never encountered this at any other Quality Inn!
I locked myself out of both my car and my room. Rick was both empathetic and efficient---got me into my room, and called AAA repeatedly until he got a hold of them. Had breakfast all set out and kept things cleaned up. Just a great fella. Went out of his way.
The hotel is nothing fancy although there did appear to be some recent updating in the lobby and breakfast area. Room was relatively clean and comfortable for the price range. Free breakfast had a decent selection of hot and cold items for this price range hotel. Overall we got what we expected for an overnight stay.
