It was a very good experience, went to Atlantic City for our 10th wedding anniversary, our reservation went through with no problems, Michael (concierge) went the extra mile and added a champagne to the room (really nice touch), staff friendly and nice facility, parking was off site but no problem just a block away, overall a great experience.

Pulled up to the Chelsea, the only street with access to the hotel was blocked by a huge crane. After making a u turn, I was forced to valet the car because there was no on street parking. Once inside the hotel, check in was slow and the young lady who helped me didn't seem to want to be there. Went up to the room and found it was directly across from the elevators-extremely noisey ones- the room was eh. The view I had expected was blocked, so much for ocean view. Went down to the 5th floor lounge, food was ok, except for the cockroach walking on the bar where we ate. The gym was garbage. I so overpaid and wasn't ready or knew about the $125 incidental fee! What a rip! Never again, this place stunk. Orbitz your description was definitely off.

Great place to stay for a weekend away! Ocean view out of our room, right on the boardwalk, beautiful comfortable room. Lovely amenities and restaurants right in the hotel. Would definitely recommend!

The bed was beyond comfortable, you can tell that maybe the rooms have been recently renovated which is nice.

Horrible experience, housekeeping did a terrible job they lost my daughters bear that she had for 9 years with know remorse didn't extend there help to find it and not to mention my wife's bracelet was stolen from our room worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

Right on boardwalk which is nice. Could not check in early, but left our bags with bell hop and that worked great. Hotel a little outside of the main activity, but walking distance so no real issue. Little older, but clean and nice. Rates this time of year are high, but reasonable to other hotels on the boardwalk in AC.

as soon as I got there I had the feeling it was gonna be bad, went to check in earlier around 11am and was told to come back after 4pm... went to eat , walk around making time, came back around 6 pm and the checking lady was so rude, she was supposedly the MANAGER of the place with no manners and people person, she dumped me in the worst room they ever had facing a dirty pool with a bunch of kids right in front of us (1st floor) meanwhile my reservations says LUXURY ROOM WITH BAY VIEW .. I was under the impression that it was going to be spacious, hing up in the tower and I was going to get the nice view but instead i ended up in the first floor of a cheap motel looking (Annex) where people book just for an hour, thats what it really looked like. I went back to the reception and I asked the lady to explain to me the mistake on how I end up in that room and she just proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and to prove me wrong she printed out the reservation and use a highlighted marker to show me what I actually booked. I proceeded to tell her that I was gonna settle for that and she didn't wanna argue with me and told me to figured out with the reservation lady... which explain to me the mistake and tried to corrected by giving me a better room with ocean view. so I got into a room by 8pm waste of time, energy, aggravation.

We like the feel of the Chelsea and it's location, a little removed from all of the casinos but still close enough. This is the second time we've stayed but the first time during the summer season, so we were excited to try all of the amenities. The beach bar was a great place to enjoy a cocktail & relax. Having breakfast outside by the oasis pool was delightful. Our only major complaint, the main hotel pool, on the 5th floor, was closed the entire Saturday for a private party. We really would have appreciated knowing this either up front when booking our reservation or a later notification via email prior to our stay. We were very disappointed we could not enjoy what looked like a great spot.

This hotel looked very nice and the staff was friendly. However upon checkin I was told I would be charged for 2 cars even though I only had one because of a mix up. We had, at best luke warm water to shower( no matter what time). After sleeping in the room and not being able to breath I checked the air filter and was horrified by the amount of gunk in it. It had probably never been changed or cleaned. Also if you enjoy sleep at all and not being woken up by every person walking by or elevators opening or listen your neighbors romantic encounter this is maybe not your place!

Me and girlfriend stayed in this Hotel from Friday to Sunday and I must say I was not pleased. I've stayed in hotels where I paid alot less and had much better service. I'll get straight to the point. Despite this being called a Non Smoking hotel the floors constantly wreiked of smoke. The room service had to be requested multiple times whenever I needed something. At one point I had to wait up to 3 hours. The shower was the worst ever I complained about the pressure and the person at the front desk told me there was nothing they could. He said it was a "Rain" shower well it felt like less than a "drizzle". The nightstands and other pieces or furniture were dusty. The only credit I will give is the bed. I was not disappointed with the bed at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they were my enemy.

This hotel was very pleasant to stay at. The staff from valet to front desk was very nice and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. Very close to casinos and beach. Can't wait for my next stay.

Great place, good people awesome price. Would deffinately stay again.

This hotel shows up on your search as a 4 Star hotel, but its definitely not a 4 Star, I would give a 2.5 Stars Max. Old Rooms re-modified, not great decor, restaurant was also not open the day we visited.

The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT (at least as far as I am concerned). It is at the southern end of the Atlantic City boardwalk, right next door to the Tropicana. It is entirely smoke free and does not contain a casino (I don't gamble so that was fine with me). It is a nicely maintained hotel, but I stayed in the newly renovated portion of the hotel. The valet parking was affordable (in late September). The front desk clerk I encountered on two occasions wasn't very pleasant to deal with. She was a bit short. The heating and air conditioning system would not provide heat (my room was an uncomfortable 66 degrees farenehit and dropping), but the hotel engineering staff replaced the system promptly. This corrected the problem. The room needs more electrical outlets. The free WiFi was pretty slow (my room was on the 15th floor, perhaps they need an additional network access port or two). Overall, I like the hotel, especially given its location. I highly recommend it.

I had a great time will go back for a weeken getaway

Hotel not very well maintained but they gave us a free upgrade.

Loved the super-cool 60's retro-diner restaurant and adjacency to lower pool. Beds very comfortable. Rooms could use more attention to detail, but generally quiet and clean. 5th floor pool and bar also a nice plus. Disappointed that main restaurant with superior view of the beach and ocean was only open on weekends - our trip was during the week.

the chelsea is in dire need of a little love and restoration. it has potential, but I probably won't stay again. the rooms were so so, the hallway though looks terrible. the carpet in the rooms was wet. the pools don't get a ton of sun. they charged to get into the rooftop pool on Saturday and it was a ton of Guido kids fist pumping and grinding. ehhh.

I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Great location and nice hotel. Staff ungraded my room with no charge. Penthouse suite was amazing and I slept well in their King size bed. Quick one night stay was well accommodated by this hotel.

Took a last minute trip with the wife to AC and loved it. We arrived late around 10PM so check in was quick. We booked an oceanview room and received room 1613. The view was wonderful and the room was clean. The bed was a little too soft for our liking but we dealt with it. The room came with a safe and your basic needs (iron, hairdryer). Breakfast at Teplitzkys downstairs was great. Try the stuffed French Toast. The hotel is a few steps off the boardwalk and the awesome beach. We did go to the new beach bar and it was well worth it. Very relaxing and great cocktails/beer. Tropicana is right next door for your gambling needs. We did however walk 2+ miles a day on the boardwalk and visited the other casinos and restaurants which were all great. All in all, it was a great stay. Remember to book at The Chelsea, not the annex in The Chelsea. A little more money but definitely worth it.
