Property is under construction. No restaurant, workout facility, lounge, or other amenities. single freight-type elevator.

Just know going in that this hotel is under a major renovation. It is cheaper for that reason. The pool and restaurant are not open. Bed was comfy, furniture outdated. Good for a one night stay.

I can't say nothing good hotel under construction no pool everything dirty

First, the good things: the hotel has a great location. It's easy to get to - a straight shot off of the freeway. And it's right next to Centennial Park and walking distance to a MARTA station. After we checked in and went to our room, we discovered that someone else's luggage was there already. Fortunately for us, we did not walk in on unsuspecting guests. The hotel staff gave us a new room, but seemed unapologetic about the mix-up. The room we ended up in was fairly small but decent. However, one of the chairs was missing a leg and consequently it wobbled. Also, the bottle of mouthwash that they provided for us had been opened and used. When we were given our bill, we had been charged $25 per night for valet parking (there are no other parking options, by the way) when we had previously been told that the rate was $20. When I asked for an explanation at the desk, I was told that they had raised their rates the previous day. After some haranguing, the girl agreed to redo the bill at the earlier rate. She seemed to think that she was doing me a favor rather than simply honoring the terms of the original contract. When I informed her that I wouldn't be staying at any more Holiday Inns in the future, she simply said, "Oh, we're being taken over by Marriott anyway." I hope that the new owners will replace their current personnel with more quality staff with better attitudes.

Everything about our stay was awesome. • our room and hotel was very clean all around and housekeeping perfectly refreshed our rooms • decent quality shampoos/soaps • staff was always helpful • beds were just fantastically comfortable • up to date room with ways to hook up anything you want to the tv and free wifi, with a large fridge and microwave • location was perfect, accross the street from the ferris wheel, centennial park (gorgeous btw) and surrounded by everything in the City Pass booklet. So much is within walking distance. • the breakfast buffet was great too and worth the 13 bucks. plus, 12 (maybe its 10?) and under eat free.

We came to Atlanta to pick up grandson from college so just wanted a place to stay for the night . Hotel room was clean but there are a few things missing, for example towel rack in bathroom ( no place to hang used towels). Hotel staff were nice, especially Wanda in restaurant. will stay here again after finished renovation.

The hotel is right in the downtown. Everything you need to visit is walking distance from the hotel.

A very pleasant and convenient stay. Everything you want is near by.

Great business hotel -- had no trouble with stay. Convenient.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights to attend Dragon Con as it was just a few blocks to all of our events. The hotel staff was very nice and seemed happy to have all of the con guests. The breakfast buffet was good. They also have a seasonal pool (which we used several times) and free wifi. Every request we had was performed in a prompt fashion- ie more towels, a cab to the airport, etc.

Great staff! Excellent location! Good, not great, accommodations. Refrigerator and microwave added to room during stay, so improvements are being made.

The hotel was good. I used the gym every morning. I was disappointed with the pool. It wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. Overall experience good!

Room was small and dingy, holes in walls everywhere, carpet was gross, bathroom was not nice -- would not stay there again

Stayed Fourth of July. Atlanta fireworks show in Centennial Park across the street, perfect view from hotel grounds, didn't have to fight crowds in the park. Easy access to Park, Aquarium. Room was comfortable and very clean. For the location and comfort, can't beat the price. Hotel valet understaffed.

This was our second time staying at this location the first time was great, this time not at all. We were out of the room for 6 hours and it was not cleaned when we returned, when they did "clean" it all they did was bring new towels and take the trash out. Will not be staying here again

Great rooms and staff very friendly. Enjoyed the rooms. My children loved that fact that there was a divder. Very spacious

They need to clean their bed sheets more better then what their doing. Also I think they should have a microwave & a little refrigerator inside the rooms.

Room and hotel was nice. Check in service was awesome!!! Hotel centrally and perfectly located. Everything was in walking distance.

We had a wonderful visit at the Holiday Inn Downtown Atlanta. The staff was very friendly/helpful. Everything was just plain awesome! The only downside was the construction outside the hotel to complete the street car project. The project made it a little harder to get into the hotel, but once we figured that out, there was no problem at all. We would definately stay there again!

The hotel was clean and economical. The staff was very friendly i have no complaints.
