Garden Plaza Hotel Atlanta Norcross

I chose this hotel purely for location and price, so I did not expect it to be glamorous. That being said, it was one of the worst I have stayed in a long time, and I travel often. Clearly has not been updated (or deep cleaned) since the 80's. Some of the communal areas looked like they hadn't been touched in months. We also stayed two nights and blasted the AC at 60 degrees the whole time. The room could not have gotten cooler than 75.

All amenities were horrible and non functioning. Nothing more to say

Our stay was nice. The staff was courteous and there were no issues at check-in.

Lights in the room did not work and the carpet was in need of an upgrade

outside of the hotel NEEDS work bad and so does hallways very bad. Im a travel agent for AAA and i will not be referring this hotel

This hotel.was a disappointment from beginning to end. The grounds were unkepmt. There were missing smoke detectors everywhere. The lobby and guest room had a very grimey feel to them. The bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. It was clearly well past time to replace. The carpet in our room was very stained and the carpet in the hall way had come up and was peeling around the edges. The breakfast was a joke. Stale donuts and crowded with what seemed to be homeless people. If we could have been refunded we would have gotten our money back and gone elsewhere. It was so bad that my husband and I considered going elsewhere anyway and considering the moey paid to this hotel a loss but unfortunately we didn't have the means to do so. I will say that the staff was friendly and our bathroom was clean enough to be acceptable. Over all it.was a terrible experience and we will never stay here again, which is sad because this hotel has a lot of potential. It could be something great if proper management and ownership gave it the TLC it so desperately needs.

I did not care for this hotel look like people were living there the staff did not speak eglish

not good the staff did not speak much engish it just was not what i expected

nice size bed, clean bathroom and facility however the fridge included in the room was a bit old fashioned/out dated. I think the room can have a more modern look to it but nontheless it was a nice room.

good for one day! AC was too loud but it's def. good place to spend a day at the hotel.

the hotel was a little older but did the job not far from atlanta and in a good area.

It's ok

Attended a High School Graduation. The room was fair. Microwave not in room. Everything else was fair.

hotel on the outside was nice but the was a big waterbug in my bathroom . i captured it and showed it to the desk clerk he made a note of it and i havent heard anything back from them.

the service was a lot faster and accurate

The hotel itself is in disrepair. Was obviously a very nice place about 20 years ago but is barely being held together these days. Our toilet quit working one night but there were no maitenance men on staff that late. They gave us the key to the room down the hall and we had to use that bathroom. I also had the room for seven days but left for two days during that time. When I got back the room had still not been cleaned (they had moved me in the computer to the room with the working toilet, even though we only used it until they fixed the toilet in my room the next morning.) Since I had left food in the trash, it was pretty gross. Despite the issues with the rooms, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and they did give me two nights free for my troubles. The staff was definitely the best part of the experience.
