Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Atlanta at Turner Field

I was in Atlanta for four nights to attend a convention downtown, and I enjoyed my experience at this hotel. Parking was free, and I was able to get to and from downtown without difficulty.

Unfortunately on Sat May 13 items were stolen from my room 3318 - $100 and expensive Carrera brand sunglasseswhile i loved the hotel and its amenities i will not book there anymore

Terrible area our car was broken into right on the hotel property....

We booked a suite online but was told that our suite was not available initially. The first room assigned to us was not even cleaned with the TV on. The second room assigned to us was not a "2 queen beds" type but a "1 king bed" with no sofa bed which did not fit us. The third is a "suite" with 1 king and a sofa bed which we had to take with no choice. There was neither cold water nor hot water left in the lobby when we checked in around 10 PM. Never I saw cookies in the trays in the lobby like in other Country Inns. This place is poor maintained and managed overall. I am very disappointed with this experience and will not likely to choose County Inns in the future.

People were yelling in the middle of the night and a loud high pitched noise was continuous in the room the whole time. Not a good experience!

The room was clean and the breakfast was alright. I wasn't particularly pleased or displeased with the hotel, it was just exactly middle of the road. It was right next to a good ribs place, which was cool. Our hallway smelled very strongly like weed, which was a major turn off. The room; however, was clean and smelled nice.

Very accommodating while traveling for business! Great location and staff.

The staff was very pleasant. I was at first a little concern about the location of the hotel, however I was reassured to know that there was security there all night. Very good full breakfast and the free teas and cookies in the lobby was a big hit for those persons who were traveling with me. The rooms were very comfortable and spacey. Large enough for a roll away bed if needed.

It was an ok stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly but the amenities weren't. The gym is a joke, with a treadmill and 2 other machines (I expected more). The elevator appeared as though it would get stuck at any second.

Toilet did not work properly, called for a plunger and no one delivered one. Wall paper peeling off the walls, as well as shower head did not look fully stable into wall. Dining area was not continually wiped down and cleaned.

We stayed one night to watch the Valdosts Wildcats win the State Championship at the Dome. We arrived close to game start time! Check in was quick and easy! We were not late for the game! The room was comfortable and relaxing! Checkout was pleasant also. We will book the hotel again!!!

Hotel was in a good location for a good price. I felt safe. Had read some other previous comments about it not feeling safe but I get fine. The hotel also had a security guard on duty. Parking lot was well lit. It's right. It is right next to the baseball stadium turner field. cllse to downtown but not walking distance we had a car so had no problem. They also had free parking and free wifi and breakfast

You're paying for location, but it's still a nice hotel. I'd recommend.

The hotel staff clerk was very friendly upon arrival. The location was very close to the zoo which is what we were looking for and the area wasn't as sketchy as I thought it would be as per other reviews. I was disappointed to see that we didn't have a room with a separate living space even though we called ahead of time to make sure we booked the right room. That made it a little tough to sleep in the room with our toddler. The hallway was just plain dirty and the room itself could use a deep cleaning. The bath tub still had other peoples hair in it. Beds were comfortable, room was fairly sound proof, breakfast was free and good. The BBQ restaurant on the other side of the pool was a quick and easy counter side meal and was delicious. Free parking was also a plus. I would stay there again for a zoo visit or to see a baseball game because of close proximity to both.

We chose this Hotel mainly for the Cardinals/Braves games. You walk out of the hotel across the street and you are at your seats. No parking/traffic hassles.

The Hotel was in a great location for my wife and me, very close to family. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy as was check out. You will want to pick a room away from the elevator doors as they are used a lot during the night. Also, stay on the side away from the interstate. Other than that it is a great value, breakfast is better than average and the rooms are clean

We were there for 5 nights, 2 rooms. No room service one day at all. Another day, I left 2 shirts (on hangers) laying across the bottom of the bed. There was a note left on my bed that do to items left on the bed, it couldn't be made up. Hallways had NO air on and the smell was horrible. The breakfast and the BREAKFAST STAFF was the best thing about the entire stay. The Security Guards were also very polite. We have stayed at a lot of Country Inn and Suites, this one does not meet their usual standards!

Hotel was very clean. The Staff was extremely friendly. It felt like a home away from home. This is my second stay at this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay for two nights in November 2014. I was going to a concert at the Tabernacle, which is only about 3-5 miles away from the hotel. Each room has mincowave and refrigerator which is always nice. Staff is friendly & rooms were as expected for the price and star rating. I would stay again.

We're sorry that happened to your vehicle. We are taking extra precautions and have contacted Atlanta police and asked them to increase rounds. We have also spoken with the company that provides security for us to make sure the guards are being vigilant in their patrols.
