Atlanta Marriott Century Center/Emory Area

3.5 out of 5.0

Room, hotel, and lobby area were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly.. It is just that the breakfast reception, lunch bags, and snack reception at the conference --they were so-so.. Not memorable nor tasty food.. I paid $700 for just 3 nights and food at hotel was blah..

Paid 136 one night , included breakfast for 2. Stayed at similar places for 250 the night . Consider it a luxury bargain, pool , gym restaurant and bar . Only down is the staff sometimes they don't know what they are doing . Always ask for your receipt at the checkout sometimes they charge you even if you prepaid!!

From entering the lobby-till leaving the next morning, my experience was very positive. Juanita (mispelled), she is from the VIrgin Islands, was on the front desk. She was upbeat and very welcoming. My key card didn't work and Michael (security) was there is a flash and another employee who was very pleasant. Checking out another good rep for the Marriott. I apologize I can't remember his name. I will be back.

Had a great stay at the Marriott!! Gym was very nice to use at all times of the day. The only recommendation would be if the Slackstone grille would have more of a variety and gluten free options on their menu. The staff was wonderful and the shuttle service was usually quick however at times you may need to wait for 30 minutes. Nice area to walk/run around after conferences.

Hotel was lovely, food was good and staff was very helpful. We forgot toothpaste and housekeeping brought some immediately.

Stayed here to have quick access to the airport for another trip and was very satisfied. Ample amenities, internet and clean.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff was nice. The hotel/room was clean and it was quiet. The only complaint I have was the checkout was at 12 I asked could I stay till 3 they said I would have to pay for a half day. So they gave me a complimentary 1pm check out which was nice so they met me halfway. So overall great stay would definitely stay here again

This hotel is near the Emory Spine Center. This hotel has an outstanding common area with a waterfall. It was a comfortable hotel with an accommodating staff. I enjoyed not having leave the hotel for dinner or breakfast. The service was excellent!

Went for an interview. Simple hotel, and nothing out of ordinary. Quiet and pleasant, but not very modern.

clean and nice. the hotel is well maintained., friendly staff.

This Marriot is very easy to stay--great staff, good location, and car parking add to the overall time spent in Atlanta.

I stayed at this hotel during the weekend of a football game. The hotel was nice, but you are already charged a pretty penny to stay here and you are also charged to use WiFi. Overall, it's "ok." Good location, straight to downtown.

Hotel is perfectly located for easy access to highway and for going back and for to Emory. Breakfast is phenomenal and staff is extremely kind and polite. loved our stay at this hotel!!!

Very tired and this hotel was just right. The staff was very professional and the breakfast is worth it.

This hotel is located in a great area with great parking. It was easy for us to hop on the interstate and go downtown or anywhere else we needed to go. The hotel is beautiful and well taken care of. The lobby and restaurant are great and comfortable, as is the back patio and swimming pool. The fire pit area was a great place to sit and talk. The rooms, however, are a different story. They desperately need upgrading to match the level of quality found in the rest of the hotel. Our bed and pillows were old and well worn. Even the sheets had rips and holes in them! There are no power outlets near the bed. They tried to retrofit the shower curtain with an older tub, but it was impossible to take a shower without getting the floor all wet. In the end we left a little disappointed. The hotel was great, but the rooms were less than comfortable.

When I checked in I was not given the room described when I booked; which was a King or double. I informed the young man who checked me in and he informed me because I booked through a third party I wouldn't be guaranteed the room described...he did switch me to a double, kinda disappointed I wanted king. My room was facing the interstate :-( and I could ALL the noise from the lobby because of the open design of the hotel (I was in the 11th floor). Bed comfy room needed a little cosmetic touch up. I am a neat freak and was ok with the room. Staff was super nice and beautiful pool area (too cold to enjoy). Resturant was great!!!!

this is the 3rd time I have stayed at this Marriot. Good location, parking, on site café/bar, very friendly/helpful staff.

Whenever I visit a city, the hotel stay is a large part of my trip, I really enjoyed this Marriott the staff was great! The fitness center was extra and aided me in keeping my workout routine ehile away from home. Thanks fot great experience!

The only issue we had was first room given to us smelled like cigarettes - happens at all hotels occasionally, not much you can do about it. Room was very clean with good beds that felt new. Given Atlanta traffic it can be 20 minutes from Emory though.

This hotel was clean, and had excellent, friendly, and timely service. It was a good price, as well. I would stay here again.
