Very run down hotel. Needs major renovation. First I have to say it’s not very visible to find this place. When we finally found it there wasn’t any signs that would tell you where to drive in. There is no lobby I had to park my car and walk up to the pool area to ask the bartender where to check in. She automatically called the owner right then and there and said here you go. It was not professional he had set up his laptop at the pool and was checking in right there. That wasn’t a big deal in the beginning until he the owner went off to one of his employees saying that he had a hard time getting a hold of her that day. Then continued to tell her to show us our room. It almost felt like I was out in the village which was fine but everything about this place was run down. Very very old, old fixtures, rusty faucet. The pool was green and had leaves and dirt in it I couldn’t understand how some people are swimming in it. The waterslide is very old to the point that I would not feel comfortable for my kids to slide down. I basically got my stuff that night and slept somewhere else because I couldn’t take the chance of sleeping there

Designed as a break from all the historical sites, this place was perfect for our family. The water-slides pool and regular pool kept our granddaughter captive. Non-swimmers can sit in shady poolside chairs/tables and be served tasty food. Bedrooms are spare and clean. Staff are gracious and multilingual. A pedestrian underpass connects the hotel to the beach. A bit tricky to find the first time as it sits off the highway, and GPS directs you further down the road. Be sure to take the coastal road to Poseidon's temple in Sounion. Beautiful drive. Would highly recommend this hotel.
