There were hairs in the sink and shower. The power kept flickering off and on, resetting the tv each time. The view from my hotel room was not kid appropriate (there was a suggestive store billboard).

If you think you are getting breakfast, try again. Its a bunch of Jimmy Dean frozen food that you choose from. The lobby area is disgusting as they are constantly walking around and some management actually sat the entire time (the only time they speak to you is whats your name and are you checking out). They say you can't take your "food" back to the room but you have no choice because the tables are filthy. They douse you room with this cleaning solution but in actuality once you get in there and settled its not as clean as it appears. There was still a dirty wash rag hanging in the shower along with a wet floor mat....If you can tell yourself...it's only for one night then go for it. But it's a little expensive to me for what you get and it sits dead smack in the middle or a questionable neighborhood. Don't expect much....

For the price and location it is what one would expect from an economy hotel. The staff at the front desk were very polite and answered my questions. Room was a bit tired, but again, what you would expect. I was in town for an athletic event at the UGA Equestrian Center and this hotel fit my needs. I would have no trouble recommending this hotel to others. Just keep your expectations in line with the price.

I had a fine experience with this Days Inn. It was cheap and clean and close to where I needed to be. The bed and pillow were super comfy. The shower and bathroom weren't great, but it didn't really bother me too much.

Good for a cheap overnight stay, but if you are looking for staying for more than 12 hours look elsewhere.

I visited Athens this past weekend to tour the graduate school. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms weren't the greatest, but I've stayed in much worse conditions. Great location though, safe and close to downtown.

The Days Inn is a short walk from downtown and all the great restaurants and night spots available there.

The room had an awful smell. The phone didn't work. It took 2 days to get it replaced. The television stopped working. I inadvertently left some items when I checked out. I called and the guy was very rude. He went so far as to say 'Your the one that left the stuff'. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

It was 97 degrees out on the first day of my visit, and the staff DID NOT have the air conditioning in my room switched on, so that when I checked in that afternoon, the room temperature must have been over 100, and it took several hours of letting the AC run non-stop to cool the room down to a livable temperature. The back vanity area of the room stayed dismally hot. A _good_ hotel with attentive staff would not have let this happen. They weren't busy either I was one of only a few guests. Place was reasonably quiet (visiting in off-season) and bed was comfortable enough. The Wi-Fi eventually worked, but it did nothing for the first 30 minutes. Breakfast was TERRIBLE. Inedible, overprocessed foods, weak OJ, nothing healthy, even the bananas were bland and corporate.

The days inn is not the cleanest hotel out there, but it's location is great for visiting downtown athens. If not for its location, i would consider this an overpriced hotel. The rooms need to be cleaner and the fence around the property needs to have a gate or access on the side facing downtown athens. The gate that is currently there is permanently locked.

I had no vehicle so it was great walking distance to the main campus. Also really nice that it is next to downtown. Did find a dead roach though.. Other then that it was a decent value for somewhat last minute.

Athens Days Inn is convenient to the UGA campus . Room was clean, beds comfortable, and towels thick. Room came with mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and TV.. no mirocwave though. Complimentary breakfast was very nice... lots of choices.. fresh fruit, cereals, muffins, breakfast sandwiches to heat in mirocwave, yougurt, coffee, juices, and milk. Atlanta Bread Company( restaurant/cafe ) is just 2 blocks up the street if you prefer a cooked breakfast/meal.

Good location to walk to downtown, about half a mile but easy. The breakfast is convenient and beds are comfy.

Vincent, the daytime desk clerk, was knowledgeable of the area and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Great value for what I needed.

Hotel exterior looks dated. The rooms however were clean and everything worked. The breakfest was better than many hotels and wifi was available. would stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for my stay. Moved my daughter to Athens and this hotel was convenient to downtown Athens and to UGA. The room is no frills but was clean , staff was very pleasant, and I felt safe there. I will stay there again on my next visit

great location. clean enough. would have liked veggie choice at breakfast, even if just cheese and/or egg option. pool looked inviting.

Arrived on Saturday to check in and promptly entered our room. The room was completely clean, beds made, toiletries provided. They even let us check out late on Sunday morning for no additional charge. The hotel was walking distance from downtown Athens and a perfect location to stay. As far as the negative reviews for this place, take it with a grain of salt. This is a college town and of course there will be a younger crowd that may stay up late. Recommended A+

Too much "Nightime Traffic" if ya know what I mean.

Location is right in downtown Athens, an easy walk from many restaurants, bars, and shops. Room was clean, but there were a number of less-than-ideal quirks (e.g., flaking ceiling, one light did not work, alarm clock display broken, wifi was unreliable). Staff was pleasant and breakfast was more than sufficient. In spite of these flaws, the price was right and since we came to Athens to see the town rather than sit in our hotel room, the Days Inn provided an excellent value.
