Hard to believe hotel was a four star rating. Mold in bathroom and shower. A/C system non-functioning and stayed in mid-summer. Decent location for walking around town.

Musty smell In the room. Asked to be transferred - being refused

I would say there again. Stay 2 nights. Pretty good breakfast and the room (suite) was large and comfortable. Good bed. Air conditioning was essential during our stay. The décor was modern and clean;

The decor was a bit overwhelming but it did look exactly like the pictures. The room was super small compared to our previous hotel which was two blocks away. Not bad if you only need it for one night like we did. Great location, steps away from shopping.

The location is wonderful so close to everything. We walked to the acropolis and close to shopping and restaurants.

I can see that this was once a hip and modern boutique hotel. However, now it is worn around the edges. The wallpaper is peeling, tile and bath tube scuffed, couch stained, etc. The linens appeared clean. The room we stayed in did not have a shower. It was a bath tube with a hand-held spout, which was annoying. The main pro is the location. It is very convenient to the metro stop. It is within walking distance of most major sites.

Pleasant Staff make the difference anywhere you stay. The breakfast was lovely-and complimented by a perfect view of the small streets and activity. The jacuzzi is really a tub, and the view of the Acropolis is only possible by standing up and looking at it from one point, but it was fun to have a separate area to rest and dine. Plus, just walking out the door and being so close to the park, and shopping was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location! Small hotel with friendly staff. The hotel breakfast is great. The hotel does not have air conditioning throughout the halls and entrance and even for breakfast. The room air conditioning is regulated and is limited, so go during cooler months. Very small elevator. Selling points is that it is in a great location. Check out the local family restaurants that are hidden beyond the touristy areas.

All rooms seem to be the same so not worth paying up for different room types. Suite layout not conducive to use of anything other than bedroom. Breakfast is not appetising, extremely cheap and basic. Bathrooms unattractive with bath style shower. They have attempted to be stylish with rooms with little design touches but have not spent much trying to create the look ie cheap white laminate flooring to mimic actual white marble tiles etc. Hotel other than check in desk and unreliable internet access has zero facilities. Location excellent for seeing all the sights on foot and for walking to some fantastic bars and restaurants. front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. Overall not terrible value for money, and if you are on a bit of a budget it is fine, but don't expect too much.

And the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful!

nice hotel , close to sygmata square and others locations, good service < eleventors are small

The hotel is new, and incomplete. In fact, our bathroom door frame was unfinished with edges of tile and insulation showing. There were no room service menus and no phone extensions - we couldn't even call the front desk. Everything seemed disorganized and wasteful. Everyday, even though we hung our towels neatly on the towel bars, they were replaced with new towels. The staff were not helpful and did not have knowledge of local sites or day trips. The staff were not helpful with navigating the city or using public transport. The breakfast buffet had too many sweet things and not enough savory items for my tastes and the eggs that were out were cold and poached hard.

The decor is modern and stylish and literally sparkles.Great location near to everything you need in Athens including good restaurants.Very clean. vert comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful.

This is a boutique hotel with only about 20 rooms and is brand new. The complimentary breakfast is excellent! Crepes, fruits, eggs, cereal, croissants, breads, etc. This was the best part for us. Within walking distance to acropolis and monastraki flea market. Acropolis is free on Sundays,& the museum is closed on Mondays. We had a fridge & cd player, but no cd's or iron/board. This hotel was in the heart of the city and close to almost everything. Since in city, a little noisy in the street. The bed and pillows were super comfy - slept great!! Liked the 32" LCD tv - wish we had movies to watch, since most shows in Greek. There are no rental places here we were told, just documentaries about Athens.

This is a new, very nice, small, clean hotel in a perfect location to Syntagma square and all of the key Athens sights are within easy walking distance. Good breakfast is served and free internet and computers to use. Rooms are small but adequate.

The Diamond is a gem - stylish, comfortable rooms, a fantastic location just minutes from the Acropolis, and an amazing breakfast spread. We arrived very early after a cruise, and the helpful and friendly staff stored our luggage, and offered us coffee and internet computer use until it was check in time. I'd stay here again without a question.

It was my first trip to Athens.I was traveling by myself and needed a room for one person, but even for one small person that room was way too small! An air conditioner was too close to a bed. One receptionist out of three people whom I met while staying there wasn't friendly nor helpful, two others were OK. Breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is great and it is new, but even so I wouldn't recommend you this hotel. There are plenty good places nearly for less.

Great hotel in an amazing location! Less than 5 minutes to the metro..super friendly staff..free wi-fi and internet access..and amazing complimentary breakfast!! The only downside was the tiny room but I made a mistake and booked a double room for 1 guest instead of 2 guests so this is the reason the room and bathroom were so small. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Just 2 blocks from bus terminal (Syntagma Square) from airport - 3.2 euros each. Walked to Plaka a couple blocks and Acropolis - about a mile. Taxi to port was reasonable. Room was great and shower first class. Elevator was smaller than the shower but adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. English no problem. Breakfast was very good. Room was quiet even though it was next to a busy street (Metropolis).

Location was the best. We could not ask for anything else. Staff was very helpfull. Elevators are small but I guess that is typical for Greece. It only worked every other time we used it and so for the most part we used the stairs. Rooms were great and very spacious. The only thing that was missing was an iron and board. Breakfast was wonderfull and the best we have had during our stays. The only other concer was that we told the staff that the phone in one of our rooms was not working and it never got fixed. We were ther for four nights. I did not mind but I work in hotels and for security reasons it should have been fixed.
