it was a very nice place the staff was very friendly and close to the mall

It was exactly how I imagined. It is outdated but priced accordingly. The rooms were very clean and I liked the private balcony. The pool was great.

Good location next to Snowmass mall area with restaurants .

A pleasant unpretentious hotel in an excellent location on Snowmass mountain. Be prepared for an older hotel with comfortable, quiet, clean rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating for my needs which are not significant. It is very close to the slopes, restaurants, shopping and the free transportation hub. The continental breakfast is free and more than enough for my needs but not anything special. The only amenities were the pool and hot tub which were in excellent shape and perfect temperatures and large enough to accommodate a good number of people and a source of community conversations each afternoon. This is NOT the Ritz but I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place that is convenient to Snowmass and surrounding areas.

Check in was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the lifts.

Excellent location, right next to Snowmass Village mall and parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. The heated pool and hot tub were great! Lots of options at free continental breakfast, including eggs and yogurt. Beds were comfy. The only drawback was thin walls. We used the room fan at night to provide white noise, which helped all but the sound of footprints in the room above. We look forward to staying here again!

Pokolodi is a wonderful place to stay in Snowmass! We drive up often from Denver to enjoy the beautiful pool and hot tub, clean cozy rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and close proximity to the slopes. We had a memorable ski weekend in Snowmass and took the bus in one night for dinner in Aspen, overall it was a great trip!

Looking for a place to crash for the night. Hotel is a little outdated but did the job. I don't feel the price for for the outdated-ness of the hotel. Nice location and nice scenery.

Staff was super friendly- my friends and I had a great time going from hanging lake, to snowmass, to aspen. The bus is a short walk away from the hotel and is free, which was perfect for going between aspen and the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone doing a valley trip!

A good place if you are enjoying the region around Aspen. Located in close to the restaurants in Snowmass Village, the room was clean, with refrigerator and extra sink. The pool, while small, and hot tub, were just what we needed after 2 days of camping and hiking. The included breakfast was very basic with limited choices but that is not why we chose it- it is a good price for a very good location and a comfortable stay.

Staff is friendly, the room is clean, but snowmass is noisy and this hotel Is on the main access road. This is a nice bare bones hotel with a basic breakfast for people who have come to aspen to ski hard and little else. I would request a room on the top floor on the downhill side overlooking the pool.

we stayed 1 night, it was clean, comfortable, had a nice pool and hot tub and the staff was great.

Great rates at a great location! Room was clean and the staff is friendly.

This is the best place in Snowmass. Just few meters from slopes, mall, and shuttles.

Had to be in Aspen Dec 28 and 29 2011 for business and as a last minute booking. It was far more expensive to stay closer to town than SnowMass, so I booked in SnowMass. In SnowMass there are a variety of lodging options and the most affordable was the Pokolodi Lodge. Door to door from Aspen airport to the lodge was 16 minutes. I was expecting a dive, but it was not...in fact it was the most surprising hotel stay for a 2 star rating I've ever experienced. The hotel is really nothing special to look at from the outside but it was obvious to me that they had done remodeling on the rooms including upgrading the bathrooms (in fact everything in the whole room was recently redone except for the bathroom door and the door jam). I had one of the few King Beds at the place and it also came with a pull out sofa which I didn't need. My room, 303, overlooked the heated pool and hot tub which looked inviting and had people in it despite the 24 degree weather outside. The staff was amazingly pleasant and helpful, and the lodge is literally across the street from the restaurants and shops in SnowMass. My only word of caution is that if you arrive after 11:00 pm, the office is shut down. YOU MUST CALL beforehand to make arrangements to get your keys if you will be arriving after 11:00 (unless you feel compelled to sleep in your car). They also serve a complementary continental breakfast every morning, which was solid, but not something you'll write home about. Overall, I'd say it was a great stay. I have to go back in February and I'm not even going to try and stay in Aspen.

Clean, good location, nice view, friendly stuff and people.

Was in the area to fly fish, didn't want to stay in Glenwood Springs so I found a good rate at this hotel. Nice location near the shuttle bus line so would be convenient to anything in town, and just downhill from the Snowmass Village Mall. All in all, this was an adequate place to stay although I wouldn't stick around for the breakfast since they put out 1/2 donuts and generic ( I want real Lucky Charms, not the Walmart version) cereal along with the requisite bagels and english muffins (also not of any real quality)

First of all, we didn't realize this was in Snowmass Village, not Snowmass. Snowmass Village is way off the beaten path and that was inconvenient for us since we just stayed one night. It is basically a young hangout, or for couples, not family friendly at all. The room was small and cramped. The breakfast left much to be desired, to say the least. It was not the same building that was pictured either. The picture looked like a huge ski lodge, but it is just another building crammed in among dozens. Would not stay there again, even just with my husband.

The hotel is located very close to the convention center and the mall. The swimming pool and hot tub are also close to the rooms. The continental breakfast was satisfactory, but nothing special. The rooms do not have air conditioning and were too warm for good sleeping until late in the evening when the mountain breezes cooled the room. All in all, this hotel is a good value for the money.

Room looked more like a standard motel room than than a "lodge". Nothing special about the room. Fridge had no freezer section. Nice view of pool and mountains from just outside the room. Less than a 10 minute drive to Aspen. No air conditioning or ceiling fans and temperature was 95 during the day, high 80's at night - impossible to sleep.
