The hotel is OK. Our check in experience was horrible. We walked in and waited at the front desk for the clerk who was watching cartoons with a child. She came over to check us in and it appeared to be an inconvenience to her. We asked for suggestions for supper and the response was, it is Sunday and only restaurants on Main Street are open. Asked what she suggestion and she ignored us. We went to our room to find it was fair and the smoke detector hanging by the wires from the ceiling. The pool area looked filthy and sketchy. The "free" breakfast was adequate to get our day started. The biscuits and gravy and coffee were quite good.
We Stay at Days Inn Carbondale two or three times a year. Everytime we stay we enjoy our time more and more. The Staff is Wonderful and Very Helpful. We are so happy to see the updating that is taking place with no hendrence to our stay. We will be back for Our Winter Vacation Stay. Thanks
Nice rooms, staff very friendly, kept breakfast area neat and clean, and kept breakfast items filled. Surprised that there was a laundry facility available, not usual at most hotels that I have stayed at. Pool, hot tub and sauna were well kept. Patio outside faces the river was very enjoyable, except for the evening mosquitos, which can't be helped. :) Close to National Parks and Glenwood Springs.
This our go to place, have stayed there for years. We could not ask for staff and owners to be any nicer than they are. Great people and outstanding service. Thanks guys see you next year
The hotel looked run down. Bathtubs in boxes were sitting in the lobby. Trash on carpet. Room 310 had drawer fronts missing. Bathroom was not very clean. Hair on shower walls and floor. There was a room at the end of the hall with the door opened that looked like a trashy junk yard. The breakfast was nice! Over priced for the quality of this hotel! Really disappointing.
Since we traveled around Aspen, Redstone, Marble, and Glenwood Springs, this location was perfect.
This was a great place to stay and relax. Our weekend was busy and we needed a place to rest. Great rooms, bed, and breakfast. The staff were friendly and manager helped with a billing issue. The pool and hot tub were cloudy and dirty. Staff did not open the pool at designated time, but were prompt to open when asked.
Always comfortable. Always clean. Always a great base camp for those of us in too much pain to go camping anymore.
My room had two double beds that were pretty comfortable. Room was mostly clean with room for improvement with some areas, which management handled once made aware. Room had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was ok with yogurt, eggs, oatmeal, and breads/pastries. Shower was modern and seemed as if tub was brand new. Overall, this was a nice property, though expensive yet par for the course in town. It's location is awesome though - I hiked Red Hill, and walked to the trailhead as it's just a .5 mile away and same with access to the Rio Grande bike trail also a mere .5 mile away with down town a .25 mile from that.
Awesome location. Best staff ever. Clean, clean, clean. Not the best breakfast. We'd definitely return.
