My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Wildberry Lodge the last weekend in September, celebrating our 23rd anniversary. The views were amazing from the deck! Delicious breakfast each morning along with fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and wine and snacks in the evening. The hospitality was fantastic! We enjoy staying off the beaten path and this stay was perfect. Just 20-25 minutes from Asheville. We took a stroll on the walking paths on the property and we enjoyed the animals that reside at Wildberry as well. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing stay at the Wildberry Lodge while visiting Asheville, NC. We booked on short notice and received a beautiful room with a balcony and breathtaking view. The breakfast the following morning was the show-stopper though. 3 courses of the best breakfast I have ever had. The owners and staff were wonderful too. We will definitely go back again.
Wasn't real thrilled with the lodge. I was somewhat disappointed upon arrival with the overall appearance of the place ..for the price was expecting something better. Will not stay here again. The views were the best thing about the place ...and the breakfast.
I am from Asheville and wanted to take a group of friends out for a long electric bike ride for my 40th birthday. I was really excited when I found the Wildberry Lodge because we wanted a place that had some fun activities once we got there. We loved the shuffleboard table and billiards in the game room, but we also grilled out on the amazing back porch, went for a short hike on the grounds, sat around the campfire until late and enjoyed the hot-tub. The rooms were great and a couple of us stayed in the teepee as well. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and our hosts took great care of us at every turn without ever feeling overbearing. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need a staycation, and will recommend it to any guests that come to town. The location is really in an awesome spot close enough to all that Asheville has to offer but in a spectacular setting that feels serene and secluded! Thanks so much for making my 40th really special!!
Ken and Glenda, thank you for your hospitality! We had the most incredible experience at your lodge - views, rooms, service (spa robes), appetizers and wine in the evenings and amazing breakfast in the morning! Peaceful setting where you can truly recharge. Thank you and we can’t wait to be back! Asiya and Svetlana
This is an absolute awesome B & B. It’s actually a gourmet breakfast place that happens to also have an awesome bedroom to go along with it. The accommodations were breathtaking and as comfortable of a place that I have ever been. But that breakfast could compare to any and I mean any 5 star restaurant in the country. Glenda is an absolute master in the kitchen. Ken is one lucky man and it is a wonder that he does not weigh 500 lbs. Our hats off to the fine folks for a wonderful weekend.
Wildberry Lodge gives you the best of all worlds. It is located in a quiet and peaceful mountain valley with stunning views and is very close to I 40 so you can get to Asheville or Waynesville, NC within minutes. Ken and Glenda are wonderful hosts, the facility is beautiful, the food is delicious and the setting is second to none. You are close to everything Western North Carolina has to offer--great restaurants and breweries, amazing hiking trails, shopping, Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway. You can experience all of those things during the day and then retreat to the Wildberry Lodge to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains. I highly recommend this lodge.
The lodge is just wonderful. It’s comfortable, unique, inviting, and full of something interesting everywhere you look. The breakfasts were amazing. The setting is unbeatable. The location was right where we wanted to be near Asheville and the Smokey Mountain National Park, but still out in the beautiful countryside. Glenda and Ken were very thoughtful, charming hosts. It was a great get away.
Nowhere in the Ashville area will you match the expansive mountain scenery, the ingenious, class-A service or the expansive creativity of this NC bed & breakfast that's nestled within the Blueridge Mountains within 10 minutes of Asheville & 30 minutes of the Smokies National Park. This secluded log home B&B extends the heart of its entire region to each guest in a most alluring, captivating and receptive manner. Truly inspiring. Truly captivating. Forever treasured!
My husband and I stayed here 11/1-11/5 with long time friends. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. The Fall leaves were at their peak. The 3 course breakfast every morning was the BEST I’ve ever had. Glenda and her husband were so welcoming. We will go back and recommend it highly!
