Super 8 Asheville Tunnel Road

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel was the best price mix between comfort and affordability I could find in Asheville over the weekend. Beds were awesomely comfortable, pillows were a bit stiff (I was fine with it, but my girlfriend hated them and wished they were better quality). My only complaint was the size of the shower, it's tiny! I could barely fit in it with out hitting the walls or curtains, and I'm a slender individual.

Stayed for 5 nights and all was quiet, comfortable, safe and very, very inexpensive. Front desk guy should be working at the Hilton.... breakfast was plain Jane but coffee was good

The hotel was clean and well-maintained. We had an infant with us, and left the room in complete disarray. When we came back, we were very pleased with the way the house-keeping staff had cleaned our room. Will definitely go back to stay here.

The Asheville Super 8 was a great choice for a motel in that price range.

I had the most professional and courteous checkin experience of any motel at any price from "Kate" on 11/30/16. This should be a hospitality industry standard. Room was nice, quiet and clean with many amenities.

Not friendly stuff poor breakfast cleanliness of the rooms far from good

I almost don't want to write a review of this place because I hate for the secret to get out about what a deal it is! The rooms have recently been redone and were as nice as places I would play 3x as much for. I was very sorry this place was full the next time I came through town. Grab it while you can!

Great location if you were visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very clean, friendly staff.

We were pleasently surprised with the conditions we found at this motel. Thought it was good value and would stay there again. Staff was very pleasent.

My family has stayed here multiple occasions and are always pleased. Friendly staff, decent and clean rooms. Not overly priced and ideal location on Tunnel Rd close to restaurants, shops and local attractions. We plan to stay again soon.

We have stayed at this Super 8 on past trips to Asheville when visiting the Biltmore Estate. Clean room, good sleep and convenient to Biltmore. We do not spend much time in the room so our needs are minimal. In my travels I have stayed in more expensive properties but the room were not any nicer but cost twice as much.

met expectations. would like to be on 1st floor. easy to get to town and to Biltmore. Staff was helpful with driving instructions. breakfast was a little weak, could have a few more sweets. I thought juice was weak. no complaints i would stay there again

This hotel was a lot nicer on the inside than it looked on the outside. Super comfortable beds and decent breakfast set up!

Good location for Brewgrass festival -- staff was friendly and rooms clean.

We stayed at this motel a few times and it is always a steal. It has recently been renovated. It's on Tunnel Road so it's a bit far from the downtown area but if you are just sleeping there then it's great.

Nothing special but, it's a clean place, location was perfect for us. Breakfast was very good, stuff very friendly. Over all a good experience. Will recommend it for a short stay. Only negative, got laud in the evening with people coming in and out of rooms very late, slamming doors and talking really laud.

Close to restaurants; complimentary breakfast included waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, apples. King size bed was nice and comfortable. Clean room.

Very clean and excellent value for price. Would stay there again.

This Super 8 is not only super clean and renovated, but every time we are there, the staff is focused on friendly service. Derrick and Hannah were professional and Hannah remembered us from the last stay. The breakfast room and restrooms are just off of the lobby with lots of windows and that makes for a cheerful morning. One thing I wish they had was a fan in the bathroom.

Though close to downtown, this is not an ideal area. It was a little sketchy and run down. The fitness center was under renovation and we didn't get a warning for that when we booked the room. We like to stay where there is continental breakfast-I would not even call it that. No eggs at all, a couple muffins, coffee, and apples. Not worth it. The room itself looked pretty nice, until you walked into the bathroom. It looked like they forgot to redo those when they updated the rest of the room. It wasnt dirty, but was nothing to rave about. $7.50 cab ride downtown was nice.. But next time I think we'd pick a different area.
