The front desk person was friendly, and the room itself was okay. But, the door key didn't work, the hotel areas outside the rooms were very dirty, and there was a man sleeping on the steps.
Facility is well kept and managed.
Upon arrival, no one was at the desk. There was a note saying that they would be right back. After 15 minutes, two employees arrive—no apology for the wait. The room was in disrepair. Many other customers that I spoke to indicated that they too were charged more than they were told at reservation. You have many other choices in this area. The regular rate is $260/night which is absurd.
This was our second stop as we had tried The Cascades up the road and left right away. Glad we did!
There was mold in the AC unit, mold all over the desk chair and a lot of hair on the bathroom floor when we walked in.
It was pedestrian at best. The price paid for the room was overpriced by at least $40 a night
The staff was nice and the room was clean.
Staff was friendly, the stay was in a good area and close to restaurants. The 2 queens was great, decent size room, breakfast was good. First time at any Ramada n this was a good experience.
I stayed five days and the bedding was never changed. Must be you need to ask, now?
We stayed 6 days and were very happy and satisfied with the room, staff and location! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
At checkin I was told they don’t allow locals. What were you insinuating? I made my reservation a month ago and I live over 150 miles away. Do you have a problem with prostitution at this location? He checked my phone number and address to be sure I wasn’t a local resident. I felt uneasy and insulted.
breakfast was a joke, heater didn't work, extra towel request was ignored.
The lady at the front when i check it. Was wonderfull. Service was good. But there need to be some fixes on the rooms. We had some critters inside the room. I had to get rit of them. Also tv was not working. Wall paper is coming down. Tub was getting clog when we took showers.
Good: Convenient to I-26. Bad: Everything else. Needed an inexpensive place to stay on short notice, near Asheville. I guess you get what you pay for. Facility in need of a MAJOR overhaul. Without getting in to too much negative detail, I think you might want to consider another facility.
The room was very big and spacious; however, the entire facility had a dirty feeling. The carpet in the room appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months, the back of the bathroom door was torn all to pieces from something, and the side entrance door to the hotel (located right next to our hotel door) did not have a lock on it. Anyone could have walked right up into the hotel, whether they were staying at the hotel or not. It felt very unsafe and the door didn’t even close all the way, either. After our stay, while checking my credit card statement, the hotel charged us an additional $60. When I called to question this charge, the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. She explained to me that I ruined the hotel towels (we were in the area for the Spartan race); however, she couldn’t even tell me how many towels I ruined or what was even wrong with them. She also said that all of the “Spartan guests” in the hotel were charged for ruining towels. After I questioned her about this, she became irate and ended up hanging up on me. I ended up calling corporate and filing a complaint about these issues and it is pending a resolution.
I would prefer the breakfast not be served on styrofoam plates which are terrible for the environment
Well maintained and great location. Good price for what is offered.
