My wife and I had a fabulous time in Asheville, and our stay at the Wright Inn was fantastic. Chris and Sheri are great hosts and their hospitality and recommendations for what to do and where to eat were spot on. Breakfast was yummy and filling each morning and the Wright Inn is located close enough to walk if you choose, or a quick and inexpensive rideshare. The wrap around porch was a perfect place for a night cap each evening after hitting the town. Already thinking about a return trip to the Wright Inn soon.
My company gave me a trip to Asheville for my 70th Birthday. I had expressed that I would love to stay at a B&B, even though I travel frequently, I have never had that experience. They choice the Wright House and specifically the adorable Carriage House on the property. It was lovely! 3 adorable bedrooms, 2 baths, living area and small kitchen private yard area; perfect for our girls get away. The owners, Chris and Sheri, have only been there 3 months but they already have that down the perfect combination of old fashioned hospitality and personal attention to their guests. Coffee pot and coffee was in the kitchen, but each morning at 9:30 Chris delivered a yummy breakfast to our front door. Planning a trip to Asheville? Check out the Wright Inn & Carriage House on Pearson Dr. Whether you stay in the Carriage House or the beautiful Inn you will not be disappointed. Sharon Pallas - Carrollton, GA
We really enjoyed our stay at Wright Inn. The breakfasts were wonderful and the owners attentive and helpful. We stayed in the Griffin Room on the 2nd floor, which was charming. The house is decorated with antiques befitting the vintage of the home. It is located about a mile from downtown, so a car is definitely a plus. The neighborhood has many beautiful homes, but this one definitely stands out! Thank you Chris and Sheri for a very enjoyable stay!!
Great BNB in Asheville with wonderful accommodations, perfect location and friendly service. We stayed on the third floor. old servants area. So lovely, private ( narrow stairs so not for everyone) we did see other rooms, all beautiful. Decorated right out of the 1800's. Delicious and different breakfast every morning. Baked Vanilla Par, Baked apple, bacon, quiche, good coffee and lots of teas. Super clean, comfy beds and sheets. Friendly hosts. Great location close to downtown and Baltimore Estate.
We had a wonderful stay at The 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House in Asheville. The owners, Chris and Sheri, were helpful about where to eat and what to see. The breakfasts were marvelous and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. The beautiful Victorian home that has been lovingly restored, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch having a cup of coffee. The bed and breakfast is about a mile walk to downtown and about a 10 minute drive to the Biltmore Estate. Highly recommend!
Staying in the Wright Suite was an excellent choice for my eight-seven-year-old mother and I! We had our private entrance from the beautiful veranda with no additional stairs to climb. The room was beautifully furnished. I especially appreciated the gorgeous wooden porthole window in the bathroom that was given as a gift to the original owner by George Vanderbilt. My mother really appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the whole house. The linens and pillows were divine! During our three-night stay, every breakfast was different and delicious. Chris and Sherri are wonderful hosts and are delighted to assist in every way to give their guests a memorable experience. The neighborhood, with tall stately trees, is very atmospheric and close to downtown making dinners out very easy. I highly recommend this marvelous inn and its keepers!

The breakfast was excellent and all the guests shared their experiences and recommendations. The homemade cookies , coffee and water were great as was the WiFi and extra electrical outlets in the room. Would definitely recommend if you want a friendly and relaxing atmosphere within easy access of Asheville, which is walkable or a $7 Lyft ride away! We will definitely be back.
