The Resort was exceptional -- great location, fabulous beach, well-appointed rooms with good views, and very helpful and attentive staff.

great location, best part of eagle beach. great staff. they need to re-institute the smoking policy.

This is the best place to relax, and enjoy the fresh air and one of the best beaches in the world. Easy flight from NY (5 hours non-stop) and the drive from the airport to the hotel took 20 minutes using a rental car. When we arrived at the Bucuti and Tara, we were met very heartily by Frankie, the doorman. Entering the reception, we met with our personal concierge, Bjorn, who was very friendly and informative. He served us a glass of champagne and escorted us to our room on the third floor of the Tara building with a spectacular view of the beach an ocean. Bjorn went through all of the amenities and details about this adult-only resort. He left us his business card with his direct line and told us to call him directly, if we needed any more information including dinner recommendations and reservations, day trips, site seeing, fishing, salons, and shopping. Our room was one of the most hygienic we have ever had. The air conditioning system and dehumidifier produced superior air quality. We didn't hear any sound or conversation from any of the adjoining rooms or the hall. The mattress on our king-size bed was more comfortable than our own Temperpedic at home. The maid service was perfect, leaving the room each day impeccably clean. Turn down service was offered each night. Our suite had very comfortable furniture, three TV's, beautiful decor and fast, free WiFi. I borrowed an IPad from the hotel for our whole stay at no additional cost. All of the staff were very friendly and kind, always greeting you with a Hello and a smile. Our personal concierge, Bjorn was able to get us a reservation for dinner at their Carte Blanche restaurant for an exclusive gourmet meal with matching wine at each of the five course. Carte Blanche has only one seating for 14 guests, Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7 pm. The most memorable staff person was Bjorn, who made us feel we had a new friend in Aruba! We are looking forward to our next stay at the Bucuti and Tara and will try to book one of its four penthouse rooms.

From the moment we arrived at Bucuti we were treated like family. Ever single person we encountered was helpful and seemed eager to make our stay enjoyable. I especially enjoyed happy hour with Karen who has a special place in my heart. My husband and I cannot wait to return. Bucuti has become our spot.

we visited Aruba for the 1st time and this place is by far the best on the island many other people at the resort continue to return year after year. It is adults only but if you are traveling without children this is the best place

We had the best time at Bucuti & Tara! All of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The beach at Bucuti is also the best.. the sand in the Eagle Beach area is well taken care of and by far the softest we experienced on the entire island. The food at Bucuti was also very excellent. We had the pleasure of trying the Cart Blanche restaurant and it was quite a treat! The room was also very clean and the cleaning staff was very friendly. We were always amazed at how quickly our room would be clean when we'd come back from breakfast.

differently will return. all staff was approachable, and informed. maybe lite music in pool area.

The hotel is on the best beach in Aruba! The staff was excellent and really seemed to care about all of the guests. They just kept asking if they could do anything else to make us happy. There are no kids allowed and the resort is very quiet and laid back. We will go back again and many of the guests had been going back there for years.

the staff were excellent, the food was great, and the weather was even better. Our Sweet at Tara had a few electrical issues that they couldn't seem to fix, but we learned how to make things work. We hope to return again sometime.

The hotel was unbelievable! My wife and I loved every second of our experience. First and foremost, the staff was very kind and helpful, and even upgraded us once they fiound out it was our honeymoon. The privacy of the adult only hotel made for a very relaxing honeymoon experience. The complimentary breakfast never disappointed, and their on location restaurant, Pirate's Nest, was unbelievable as well. We ate there twice because we enjoyed the food, service, and the ambiance of the beachfront restaurant. Overall, our honeymoon experience at this hotel was incomparable. We would recommend this to anyone seeking a very nice, relaxing experience. We will be returning, hopefully soon.

Perfect Beach, white sand and gentle surf. Hotel service was excellent. Go for the Tara suites, the view is worth it.

Bucuti & Tara Resorts proved to be an outstanding hotel. The staff was superb, very professional and courteous. The location was perfect. Away from all the congestion in the high rise district. The beach and restaurants as well as the overall atmosphere were 5 star!

Location was fantastic. Best beach I have ever been on. Beautiful water, awesome beach chairs, friendly staff. Short ride to the high rise district and downtown. Ate at the French Steakhouse twice. It's right across the street from the Bacuti. The food and service was great.Ate breakfast everyday at Elements on the beach at the Bacuti. What a great way to start the day...Food was great and staff a lot of fun. Enjoyed shopping in the high rise district. A lot of vendors outside. Took a jeep tour....It was a little rough but well worth it. We went on the 10 hour tour which was a little long but they have shorter tours you can take. I will stay at the Bacuti when we go back. It really doesn't get better......Been on many beach vacations, but this was the best all the way around. Can't say enough about the staff at the Bacuti!!!

The resort was clean, friendly, and located on the best beach.

this is an over 18 years old only hotel, so there is a relaxed quite atmosphere. We stayed for our 3rd time in the suites, each with an nobstructed view out over the well spaced new unbrellas and shaise to the ocean. Sunsets can be fab. the bed area seperates from the sitting area by a sliding door. The room is very nice. There is a new gym and a small fantistic but EXPENSIVE resturant. The main resturant will be completed by fall and looks beautifull. the staff is hard working and genuinely friendly Down sides; AC is not very good, the dehumidifer is very loud. the 2 TV's get lousy reception. If your looking for an active vacation don't come here, it's relaxing you'll not want to move. you can walk to a few good resturants. People claimed the chioce beach shaises before 7 am then never showed up till afternoon. There were compliants so I hope that changes. it was very windly which drove us to the pool it's ok, the ocean is better. All in all we love the place & plan to go back again next year or sooner.

The Bucuti was a peaceful paradise that we highly recommend. This is a review of the details I would have wanted to read before booking - we would absolutely recommend this resort despite the few areas for improvement included in the review below. --Staff are pleasant and eager to help. Housekeeping was overall sufficient but occasionally we didn't have all of our towels replaced or garbage emptied. Nothing particularly concerning. --We stayed in a regular Bucuti room. Ask for the side facing the Tara suites, not the side facing the parking lot. Room small but well furnished. We thought the sheets were a bit rough but then again we are picky about sheets. We asked them to empty the mini bar and stocked with our own beer from the grocery store. It is a technologically advanced room. There is an air purifier, a dehumidifier, and a fancy digital thermostat that automatically ups the temp if you aren't in the room setting off the motion detector. Beware that the dehumidifier beeps if it fills up (learned that at 4am# so you may want to empty it before you go to bed. All of these fancy devices make some white noise, but the greatest benefit was that this is the only Caribbean room we've stayed in that didn't have a musty smell from the humidity. --There is a palapa with two chairs and a table FOR EVERY ROOM which to us was worth the price of the room alone. I repeat, you will never have to search or wait for a comfortable shady spot to relax. #By comparison, the resort next door makes you sign up for umbrellas and polices them for use...# Chairs have soft cushions and, along with a beach towel, the resort provides a cushion cover made of towel material. Best beach chairs ever. Beach is wide, clean, and pure white sand. I cannot say enough about the beach experience here. --Pool on the small side but deep and never crowded. --It is important to know that there are virtually zero activities at the Bucuti with the exception of a steel drum band at happy hour. No volleyball net, no pool aerobics, nothing. We loved this. It may not be for everyone. It is VERY quiet there. --Regarding food, the included breakfast was pretty good. Nothing very gourmet, but a lot of choices that didn't change much day to day. Made to order eggs and omelettes are the highlight. The coffee was on the weak side. The indoor Tara breakfast spot has an espresso machine that makes better coffee. We ate a big breakfast every day and usually skipped lunch, which saved a lot of money and time. --Drinks and food are expensive at the resort. Even happy hour specials can be $8 for two weak mixed drinks. Buy duty free liquor at the airport and stop by the grocery store #well stocked with beer, wine - particularly good South American wine selection - and mixers#, and you'll save a lot of money. --For a quick dinner on your night of arrival, Pizza Bob's #across from the Bucuti parking lot) was quite good. Again, overall we loved the Bucuti and feel it is the best resort on the island. I add the negatives above because they are things I would want to know and are points which could be improved upon.

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Bucuti in early August of 2012. We had an amazing time. The hotel was everything we expected and more. The room was great, and they even upgraded us once we told them we were on our honeymoon. The staff was unbelievable. Honestly, the customer service was so great. The staff is so nice and respectful, and they seem to love what they do. The hotel was very clean and I really liked that they were environmentally conscious. Also, for honeymooners or anniversary goers, or anyone who wants a relaxed, laid-back, no children experience, Bucuti and Tara Suites is the way to go. There was never a fight for beach chairs like there is in the big commercial resorts. No matter the time of day, you can always find yourself a chair on the beach. The hotel offered a great complimentary breakfast, and had an absolutely phenomenal restaurant, The Pirate's Nest, located on the beach. The restaurant was so good that we ate at it twice. Overall though, the Bucuti and Tara Suites was an absolutely amazing hotel and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone wanting a nice, peaceful, relaxing vacation. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a stay in the Tara Beach Suites. We both agreed after seven fantastic days that this was the best vacation since our honeymoon in Hawaii. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and booking our excursions around the island. The restaurant service was outstanding, from beach delivery of lunch with cocktails to the romantic private beachside dinner. The room on the third floor had a roomy patio with direct views of the ocean and a private white sand beach. Coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening made the patio a favorite place to enjoy the resort. The suite was comfortable with large flat screnn TVs in the bedroom and living room, and a 9 inch TV built into the bathroom mirror - cool. The entire staff from check-in to check-out made you feel welcome and appreciated, and we will definitely return to Bucuti for another romantic getaway.

loved it! best hotel and beach. can't wait to go back

What a great resort. Each member of the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The beach was amazing. Breakfast is included in the price, which was average. We would definitely go back to this resort.
