breakfast was reasonble for Christmas morning with nice freshly squeezed orange juice, and nice raison loaf, good choice of coffee. Easily accessable location at en exit of the A12 in between Arnhem and the German border.
The Campanile hotel Israele White basic, bit giù canto expect so Michi off 60 euro per a double room. Forse me was ok, and it has a food position to visto the City of Arnhem. You need a car to get there.
We stayed at Campanile Zevenaar for a long weekend in August 2016. Good value for money, clean and tidy, ideal as a base to visit Arnhem and surrounding area. We never had the breakfast as we had early starts most days, but we did use the restaurant twice during our stay for evening meals and both times the meals were excellent. A bonus for my daughters was the excellent free wifi in our rooms and the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and we would highly recommend hotel Campanile Zevanaar.
In general is like all other Campanile hotels in Netherlands, good for a short stay or a stopover. You get what you pay! The hotel is very close to the highway, It can be very noisy. The rooms are getting a bit old, also the furniture and bathroom... Bar and Restauran are okay, but the breakfast buffet a bit short. You can park there your car for free.
Location: very close to the highway from Germany to Utrecht not far from the German border Reception: open till 11 pm Room: about 12 sqm Bed: Queen bed fith firm mattress, comfy Bathroom/Shower: separate 5 sqm with bath tub (quite short), toilet and sink Cleanliness: clean Air Condition/Heating: electrical heating, no A/C WLAN: free, fast and reliable Parking: directly in front of the rooms Breakfast not included in room price; 11,50 Euro Restaurant: yes, with surprisingly good food Language: Netherlands, English, some German Staff: very friendly and helpful Credit Cards: Western standard cards accepted Sauna: no Pool: no Lift: no Extra benefits: big restaurant terrace (but close to the street) Conclusion: Ok if you want to spend a cheap night in Netherlands as other hotels are quite expensive
My wife and I used to stay regularly in various Campanile's. The rooms were always comfortable. Breakfast and meals were of a totally acceptable standard. Last year summer we stayed in one in Veyron in France. Awful rooms, inedible meals and unpleasant service. When we needed to have lunch between Arnhem and The German border, I decided to choose Campanile Zevenaar, convinced that the bad experience in Veyron would be a one off. We didn't see the rooms. We did have what was advertised as a lunch. The service was nice and friendly but the fo of was amazingly bad. We didn't complain, because if it's that bad it can't be improved, however many times you send it back. My wife had a Caesar salad. It did look vaguely like a Caesar, say made on a production line next to the Caesar salad production line. No dressing. Our counterpart and I had a buffalo burger, expecting something special. It was in the sense that it was greasily disgusting. My advice is to give it a miss, unless you've had nothing to eat or drink for a week and famine is kicking in.
I stayed in this hotel this summer on more than one occasion due to its close location to business. The bed is comfy and the room is clean... But there is no place to store clothes for a long stay. There is no air conditioning and some rooms are quite hot. This is very basic accomodation but the reasonable price reflects the accomodation privided. Wifi was weak on the restaurant patio but good in the room. Staff are very friendly, beer is cold, food is decent for a motel establishment. I would stay here again if in Zevenaar again.
Room was clean and tidy - what you would expect at a Campanile, bathroom was the same. Girls in reception were smily and helpful. I stayed there during a hot weather phase and the room was like an oven - a small electric fan on the desk would have been fine to cool down.
This is certainly a bog-standard place to stay. Simple, clean, quiet. The room had a TV, two towel bath set, soup and shampoo, hair dresser, big mirror, a desk and two chairs. The check out at 12h was a positive factor. And the parking seems save.
I stayed here for one night, Service was very good. Room for one was with a double bed. Location of the hotel was good and had easy access for going there by car. There was enough parking place. Acess to the room was good
