The hotel is in a ideal location in one of the nicest areas of Greece's mainland. Very well run, clean and with very polite staff. Many families with small kids, due to the fact that the set up (beach, pools) is ideal. We stayed in a back room, which was ok, but front rooms are far superior.
Hotel with a stunning view from the sea view rooms...best I ever had in three years in Rhodes, Crete and Peloponnese. Room (standard) enough for 2 adults a 11 year old child, very clean, great job from the maids. Food rather simple but correct, nothing really missed. Staff (restaurant) also correct, maybe missing a bit of a warmer human interaction before the tips arrived... Great for families with kids, except for one night when somebody partied till 1.00am at the beach bar, after I was assured that the noise would stop at 11.30pm...but it was only once in 10 days. I think late night parties should be at least announced to the guests in advance, eventually with apologies from management.Otherwise refund the night for losing the sleep...But that's a minor onenight downside in10 day of pure Peloponnese picturesque bliss... Rooms , bathrooms and hotel in perfect finishing state...maybe it would have done it better with a larger pool, but very well taken care of by the personnel. I missed a safebox in the room...I used the ones at the frontdesk. In a sentence: I would return anytime...thank you.
Overall it's a good hotel for families. The location is great since the sea is right in front of the hotel. However the sea has sea anemones that bit my child and my husband (along with other people). This is something that the front desk should have informed us in advance, since my child had a serious allergy reaction and spoiled our vacations. Moreover, the food in main restaurant needs serious improvement (except from the Greek night where the food was very good). My main complain has to do with the room. We were 4 and they placed in a double room which was extremely crowded and made our stay miserable. We never asked for a double room, we asked for a room for 2 adults, a child and a baby and we got a double room!!! A big disappointment was the fact that the beach bar was closed at night and it was only open to private parties and their music kept us awake until 01:00. I would never guess that July is not a high season in order for the hotel to fully operate.
We have just returned from spending 10 days at Hinitsa Bay, I cannot fault it. We stayed half board and the food was very varied and plentiful. The hotel sits in its own bay with its own private beach, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the gardens are beautiful. Having stayed in Porto Heli for the last three years, the big plus here is the peaceful surroundings, it is helpful to have a car but aks has its own bus that goes back and forth to the port if needed. We stayed on the third floor and had amazing views over to Spetses. The rooms are a good size with balcony and were tastefully refurbished last year. Staff very polite and welcoming. Hopefully we will return in September and stay here again.
I visited this place with my parents. We loved everything about this resort. Fantastic and veryy polite staff, doing their best to help always smiling. great parking space Fantastic private beach with crystal clear blue water, very secluded and exclusive feel. Very clean and spacious rooms with breathtaking seaviews. Proximity to Porto Heli town and Spetses Island. Great breakfast and dinner buffet Lovely poolside and facilities. Loved every bit of it. It was like a little summer haven.
I have been there with my husband and small daughter and with our family friends also with small kids for a weekend. We had a nice room with a sea-view, service was very good and helpful. We had a good breakfast, they have enough children seats and generally this place is comfortable to travel with kids. The beach is not wavy and deep, there is a pool also for the kids and playground as well. As I understand every evening they have some events for the kids although our kids were too small to visit it. I suggest this hotel for a relaxing family holiday.
I was surprised to find out that the Hinitsa Bay has been beautifully restored. Our room on the first floor was very nice, with a side view towards the sea. Air Conditioning was flawless, WIFI was slow, the cleaning lady was doing a great job. The beach looks bigger in the photos compared to real life, but that's OK I guess. There are may umbrellas for the hotel guests. The water was very clean in the beginning of the summer but I am pretty sure it will be a murk during high season. The swimming pool is very nice and my kids had a hell of a time playing there! Service was excellent and the staff was very helpful in a casual way. What I didn't like was the food. It is obvious that the variety and quality was suffering, and I wouldn't mind paying a bit more to get something better. There is nowhere else you can go in the area unless you have a car and another thing to keep in mind is that driving to the hotel from Athens is not very easy. There are lots of sharp turns and hairpins, so if your kids or passengers get carsick , keep your speed low otherwise you will definitely spend some time cleaning your car's interior!
I spent my short easter vacations at this Hotel. I was positive surprise from the staff which was all the day long friendly and very poolite. The food (buffet) was worth the total cost of our staying. Nothing very special, but in the total salads were fresh and you had a good variation for side and main course. The view from the hotel was really great. Once more a big THANK YOU to all the staff
On the third floor of the hotel ut feels like a king It has a beautiful view a beautiful swimming pool Organized beautiful beach Friendly Staff!!!!! Three stars for the medium quality in the breakfast Long time from the last renovation.
its been 13 years back since our last visit in this hotel. We knew before hand about the new ownership and the total renovation that took place recenlty and took advantage spending our family Easter holidays. The superb location, only 2 hours drive from Athens & the crystal clear waters were definately the basic factors to consider at first stage, however I am so pleased we were not let down by the rest ... spaceous confy family room & plenty outdoor space for kids to run freely with sports & fun activities all day long. Food was exceptionaly good considering the high guest volume for the Easter season and the service we received during our stay was nothing less than a pure 5* resort service .. special thanks to Maitre D' Hotel, restaurant staff & Sales Manager Mr. Aris Tsitsibikos for all his efforts to enhance our stay!
