Il Nido is located on the outskirts of Arezzo, the birthplace of artists and poets of international fame and home to a very rich cultural heritage in its historic town centre. Located in a beautiful hilly panoramic position, in a small tranquil borgo (Staggiano), the park surrounding the villa guarantees total privacy and quiet. The original architecture with exposed stone and wooden-beamed ceilings has been preserved thanks to careful renovation with attention paid to the most modern and efficient comfort. The cosy and hospitable atmosphere of the rooms, with finishes of excellent craftsmanship and high quality furniture and accessories, the well-kept flowering garden that surrounds the property with an elegant outdoor living area and a convenient equipped kitchen next to the beautiful modern swimming pool: all this creates an exclusive setting for families with children, but also for romantic getaways in a particularly peaceful and refined environment. Moving from this microcosm of pure enchantment will be simple and fast: the historic town centre of Arezzo can be reached by car in less than 5 minutes (or, alternatively, with the bus that stops just a few metres from the villa); moreover, as the property is just a short distance from the motorway and the train station, you can easily embark on many trips to discover the fabulous surroundings, from medieval borghi to the famous art centres of Tuscany and nearby Umbria
Interior:
The villa has three floors. The ground floor is accessed along a flight of 6 steps that lead into an open-plan sitting area with satellite TV and kitchen with dining table. This floor is served by a bathroom with shower. On the first floor is the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom and a bedroom with two beds, one of which is a bunk bed (or, alternatively, a truckle bed), served by a bathroom with shower. The basement contains a cosy sitting room with direct access to the garden (up a short flight of steps) and the private garage. The laundry is reached by exiting the French window in the basement. Near the swimming pool is an annex with kitchen connected to the outdoor dining area and a guest bathroom. Air Conditioning only in the bedrooms.
Park:
Il Nido covers about 300 sq m of level terrain, completely enclosed by hedges, low walls and decorated corten steel slabs, guaranteeing privacy for the guests. In the garden in front of the villa, bordered along the entire perimeter by bushes of rosemary, roses and colourful flowers, is an elegant living/dining area with a convenient kitchen equipped with a multi-purpose stovetop and burners, a barbecue and the swimming pool: a comfortable and relaxing area to use during the day and at night as well when a clever play of lights created ad hoc provides a magical atmosphere. There are two parking areas, one located in front of the pedestrian entrance leading to the property and one at the back, in the area in front of the garage (for an additional covered parking space)Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool (always available), just a few steps away from the villa, is located next to the living area and the annex with kitchen. The rectangular pool, measuring 3.5 x 8.5 m with the depth varying from 1.20 to 1.80 m, is lined in PVC with a marble edge and has internal lighting, salt purification, a diving board and submerged steps for access to the water. The surrounding, marble-covered area is equipped with sunbeds, colourful armchairs, two large umbrellas and a hot-water shower.
