It's so beautiful hotel with excellent service starting from Reception to the end of my trip. Rooms was clean and tidy and all amenities are available, the front office agent Mr. sultan was very helpful and friendly so polite and cooperative, this is second stay during this year actually this trip the room was clean and organized better than the previous trip really I would like to thank the hotel manager for good care of rooms and well trained staff as sultan, sure I advice friends to stay in this nice hotel during their visits in aqaba city All the best Nana
We spent one night in Marina Plaza hotel in Aqaba, we were really disappionted but at the same time thankful that we only had to be there for one night. The hotel itself is more or less clean the staff in the reception are nice. But in the restaurant everything is dirty and crowded furthermore the quality of the foods are poor. Our room was fine but not the best I have ever stayed in. I would not suggest this hotel anyone to stay in!
While the hotels is in a nice surrounding. Property is little aged. Staffs are not cooperative little rude when you ask for help in cleaning bathrooms are not well maintained.drainage are clogged. Heard the same complaints with other guests. WiFi at lobby only with limited connectivity.
This place is filthy. Disgusting and I suggest you stay away. I went with a group of 12, and as we entered our rooms we can each tell horror stories describing our rooms. Our windows and curtains were filled w stains of what appeared to be blood. The skirt on the bed was stained w mud all around the bed. The floor...impossible to walk on it without shoes because the amount of dirt on it was ridiculous. One of the other rooms had a bathroom filled w mold and smelled like urine. The bed was hard and the covers appeared dirty and so did the sheets. This was just such a terrible experience that we could not fathom the idea of spending the night in this place. There was no wifi either! Luckily our travel agent was still in the area and accommodated us in the Radisson Blu, 3 min drive away. Thank God we didn't have to stay in this horrific place more than two hours.
This place is the most disgusting & horribly staffed I have encountered in 51 countries & commercial aviation industry for 19 years. Just bodily fluid stains, hairs, black mold, no wifi more than 50 feet from lobby, staff that are inept, lawn full of weeds & overgrown, seat cushions covered in stains, walls in the lobby are filthy... you name it... you'll see it here. 12 of us left this hotel...
We had three nights here, on half board. When we arrived, we did not meet the smiling, friendly Jordanians we had been used to meet. But after showing our Norwegian passport, things changed. It is a relativly large hotel which once was great. Rooms are good and we had balcony with sea view. The hotel was unlucky to have such big groups of people who never smiled or said thank you. Russians on all inclusive left their mark on the atmosphere. We made some complains about the room and service in the diningroom, and it changed at once. Both manager and staf did their best to take good care of us and made the rest of our stay really enjoyable.
A disaster. Poorly managed hotel, front desk knows nothing, does not do anything. Restaurant extremely poorly managed: no glasses, no cups, no bowls,..Tables are not cleared, you have to do it yourself and look for cutlery, napkins, a clean table you can eat on. No variety: food is cold, dessert was always the same (dry cakes, sometimes a "brown" apple), frozen bread at breakfast. No or hardly any personnel to help. No decent bar, no possibility to have coffee of tea, unless you are an "all in guest". Russians filling bottles with juices at breakfast, taking bread with them. Conclusion: do not go there. There are plenty of good and decent hotels in Aqaba and Jordan.
Went there for all inclusive one week vacation. Its was a BIG disaster.Only ONE bar working, pool bar, with very Limited selection(it was full of empty bottles),all with 1 desmil plastic cup, even beer....No lobby/sportbar,beach bar etc,no gym,and and that promised activity was only happening on friday/saturday and only in russian. The only restaurant was a mess.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.Cold food, always the same, plates, glasses, everything always run out,Russians stealing and pushing and shoving,NEVER AGAIN...DO NOT BOOK THIS...EVER,CHOOSE another one, even pay more,Its worth it
The hotel is overall good with clean good sized rooms to and afforderble prize. Nice staff everywhere but and extremely poorly maneged restaurant. The food isn't bad but the buffet is the same day after day. A lack of fantasy in the management of the kitchen.... Often you must wait for plates and service. Maybe to few staff employed.
This place is packed with people, our rooms were not ready and had to wait to get into the rooms. The rooms were not quite ready, there was water on the floor, missing towels, missing safe box instructions, etc. And forget about asking the front desk and getting them on time. We requested the safe box instructions and never got them. Food was probably the best that this place can offer but they will not serve you tap water, you have to pay for bottled water and any other drink. Other people in our group had similar experiences.
