Radisson Paper Valley Hotel

It was FINE. Not great, not good. Fine. My bar is pretty low when it comes to hotel stays. I dont require much. But, it was just kind of meh, all the way around. No fridge, no window, cable on the TV came in and out, parking was not explained very well. If it were the only option, Id stay here again. However in the event I find myself in Ppleton again Ill be looking for a better opportunity.

My main tv channels would not come in. Only HBO and CNN... very frustrating.

Very nice stay. Parking situation is less than ideal, unfortunately. The skyway is closed so you have to park across the street and go up a few stairs to get inside (not a big deal, unless like me you pack too much.) My room service was terrible. Ordered two breakfasts. First one was the wrong order. Second one was burnt -- black. First black omelet I ever ate -- and when the overall bill was almost $40 it was really unfortunate. My bed rolled to one side, so that was uncomfortable. Other than that we had a nice stay. Bathrooms in conference room area were not kept very clean.

It was a short stay. Less than twenty four hours. very nice.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice room! No complaints!

Clean and comfortable good location it's gotten quite old should be renovated. Very overpriced

Several on-site places to dine, plus many more within a few blocks. Parking is in public pay-per garages close bu and accessible by covered sky walks. Room was very quiet. Recreation area is in the basement, no natural light.

Everything we needed. Clean , friendly close to lambeu field . Perfect

We were there for three nights (Thursday thru' Sunday) and thoroughly enjoyed it. But, we had noisy floor at 2 AM, on Thursday night, as a group of men and women (?students) were talking too loud in the hallway for more than 10 minutes. We almost called the front lobby.

Staff was helpful. Overall hotel old and unattractive. Hotel is within walking distance to Lawrence University, restaurants and stores. So, if you're there to spend time at the University, visiting a student, it is a good choice.

Great place to stay for downtown ammenities. A little dated - in areas.

The staff was so nice however the hotel is dated. Our tub was clogged and the towel rack was falling off the wall. I don't think it's been updated since 1982.

For the price I wasn't all that impressed. Room didn't have microwave or mini fridge. Toiletries were cheap brand, bathroom had no fan.

Stayed here on a Saturday night for a weekend get away. Hotel was great- had a lot of amenities. Room was wonderful- bed was very comfortable. Location is great, especially if you are looking at going out on college ave- everything is walkable. Would have liked the Jacuzzi to be hotter (water), but still relaxing.

Upon arrival, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The large main lobby, shops, pool area are all very nice if perhaps a little tired. The room was spartan for a 4 star, but fine until my son called me into the bathroom as he was preparing for bed. A thick, unidentified, smelly substance was entering the bathroom sink through the drain. It remained for 20 seconds, then disappeared from where it came, except for the stench. Yuck.

right across from fox cities pac and the bar strip hot dog vender on street till 3am

Stayed here after a Packer game. Very friendly staff, clean room, easy to find. Had trouble finding the parking situation at first, but the front desk explained that the municipal ramp across the street is free on weekends. Great stay, a lot of bar/restaurant options nearby

So many Appleton hotels are clustered near the highway, it's great to be in the surprisingly happening downtown.

reserved a room to attend a concert. the staff was awesome, being very helpful with a little snafu that happened with my door. i walk in, and find a very nice room with a sleep number bed! something i was NOT expecting. had a great nights sleep! its centrally located to all the good stuff so you dont have to walk far. would come again.

In town for a concert which is a short walk across the street. PERFECT!
