The people who work the front simply act as if they don't care to accommodate their guests as needed when staying. They get rude like they don't want you to stay there. But the rooms are decent for that area. Over priced though
We booked this motel for one night-we were in town for a funeral so I had to book fast and did not pay too much attention to reviews-we need a decent parking area for our small rv we drive .That being said the only thing I can say positive is that the room itself was clean and the beds were new and Queen sized. Also the neighborhood was decent. Our door had to she shoved with our foot to open.We are not elderly but I doubt a little ole lady could have opened the door ! This was a pet friendly room but I don't think pets sit on and stain the chairs. Also the tub enclosure was icky and falling apart -as I said some things updated/some not.a mixed bag. Really how many times can you clean a grungy dilapidated tub enclosure before you give up the ghost and replace?Bottom line it's strictly lipstick on a pig.The general area around the property is full of trash lying around too. Breakfast was the usual fare .This property is so strange .If you must stay here check out the room .
The place may look a little ragged on the outside, but the inside of the room was just fine. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. (I wish my bed at home was that comfortable.) No problems checking in or out, and the price was good. The only complaint was that the shower curtain rod was installed so high (at least a foot higher than it needed to be) that it only overlapped the top of the tub by about an inch, so it was very easy to accidentally get water all over the floor while showering. There weren't any cups in our room, but we were able to obtain some in the office, so no big deal. We were only there for the night while doing a two-day sightseeing trip to Nashville, so it was perfectly adequate for sleeping overnight. There was adequate lighting in the room.
The room was clean, and the folks at the desk were very nice but the room was way below par. The door didn't fit in the frame. There was no weather-stripping around the door at all which left a half to one inch gap around the door on three of the four sides. There was no way to latch the door other than the deadbolt. Two of the three lamps didn't work at all. There weren't any outlets handy to plug in any of my electronics. The TV was an ancient CRT television with a crappy, fuzzy picture. Ugh. Well at least the bed was comfortable. I cranked the AC, stuffed towels in the space between the door and the floor and filled the inch wide gap. I jammed a chair under the door handle, checked for bedbugs (there were none) and tried to sleep. That went okay, mostly. The noise from I-24 wouldn't probably have been so noticeable had there been some weather stripping around the door. Oh, also the curtain was pulled off the track on one side so light shone in the window. Fortunately, someone left a tiny, and I mean TINY little paper clip stuck on the curtain so I was able to close it almost completely. The property overall is in very poor condition. It's hard to believe they still have a Windham franchise with it looking like that. Not recommended.
This room was not clean. The ice bucket contained some sort of leftovers from a rice based meal. The bathroom smelled bad, and was obviously not clean. Bedding was stained and was questionable in cleanliness. We called management, he took away the ice bucket, but would not offer a cleaned room. Never again!
Everything from the moment you step in the building to the moment you leave is horrible. Room doesn't look bad for what your paying, but bathroom is falling apart, A.C. is super loud (couldn't sleep due to the noise), and the customer service is even worse. A have my complaints to the front desk clerk and she just looked at me. Nothing was done, not even an attempt. Worst stay ever.
This place is disgusting! Stains all over the bedding, uncomfortable bed, drug addicts all over I was scared to even park my car outside. Trash EVERYWHERE, parking lot, stair ways, sidewalks in front of rooms, in the room! Floor wasn't vacuumed, shower was nasty, just don't bother!!!
Filthy rooms but atleast there wasn't any bugs and the front desk people were very nice and breakfast was good
The room itself was decent. What you might expect from a Super8. The parking lot was sketchy. Questionable people coming, going, loitering but not staying. One in particular female set up camp under the awning and had a meltdown, kicking, screaming and throwing herself around until she laid slumped over a brick wall for a while. Then she picked up her camp and left. That kind of behavior makes you feel safe. Coffee was only so so as well.
The room was dirty and the tub that was white at one time was black with mold and the toilet wasn't even bolted to the floor. The door to the room wouldnt lockyou had to push the door and ther was a 4 in gap under the door. Very unsafe environment for kids in side the room and out . I don't know how this place got 4 out of 5 on bookit.com
