remodeling they were to get new carpet today witch is May 2nd. then they will be getting new furniture. there breakfasts is really good its a hot breakfast not muffins and cereal. one day we had eggs, bacon and biscuits. next day was sausage gravy and biscuits.

The room was fine, the service was good. The location wasn't all that great but convenient. It was a fair experience and definitely ok to stop in at if you need to spend a night or two. I would not suggest it for much longer.

Hotel was really disappointing. Very ratty and not clean. Beds awful.

We travel to Nashville about once a year to visit family. We have been staying at this hotel for our last two trips. The name has changed but the rooms are still comfortable and the location ideal. The renovations are coming along great.

As other reviews state, the staff is excellent. Check-in was problem-free and the room was on the first floor which avoided stairs and minimized effort to get heavy suitcases to and from the car. Pam, the host on duty, was gracious and friendly. The included breakfast was hot and offered several choices of typical southern dishes. The room was clean and everything worked. I suggest providing a rubber mat for the bathtub because it is slippery when taking a shower and there are no grab bars to assist entering and exiting. Hot water was plentiful and pressure was good. The building likely dates from the 1960s, but there are clear signs of ongoing renovation to keep up appearances and functionality. The carpet, however, has not been replaced and urgently needs to be upgraded. A tear in the carpet in our room was patched with silver duct tape. Even though the carpet throughout the public spaces was dark and dingy looking, there were no noticeable evil smells that are normally associated with moldy-looking carpet. The motel is reasonably close to the airport (about 5 miles), but farther south from Nashville than other properties and is a bit of a nuisance to get to. It's located on a frontage road adjacent to highway 24. The signage is vague and the access riad is not well indicated. It's easy to miss it and go quite some distance out of the way to get back on track, Fortunately, we arrived during daylight hours when it was confusing enough. At night, it would have been much, much harder to find. All in all, this is an okay place if you need to stop for the night on the way to somewhere else.

The hotel was very hard to locate. Hotel sign was broken out which left a poor impression. Hard to find location. The hotel staff was friendly but the room was not vacuumed thoroughly and a previous guest's dirty forks and spoons were left in a desk drawer. Carpeting needed cleaned in common areas and stairs. Breakfast was good for hotel breakfasts. Coffee not so good.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, nice pool and fitness room.

I need to say that I specifically looked for and booked the hotel for Carlson Inns and Suites. When we finally arrived, the hotel said Econolodge. When we called to make sure that we had the right place, the phone was answered Econolodge. It felt a little bait and switch-y. So, the Antioch Econolodge was perfect for us. They are working to improve it so that it can become a Carlson Inn and Suites rather than Econolodge. It is right on the highway, so it was very convenient to the Zoo, Opryland, and Downtown. We were on the back, so the highway noise wasn't noticable. The staff was all very helpful and nice and in a rather odd switch, the evening staff seems to be more knowledgable than the day staff. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The internet didn't work for the first 3 days we were there and so that was an inconvenience as we needed to print tickets. The pool was large and clean with lots of chlorine and windows with a nice hot tub. The only vending machines were soda. There is a Steak n Shake and an IHOP nearby, but if you want to stay in order pizza from Fox's Pizza Den. They have coupons at the hotel and deliver and it is really good pizza! We really enjoyed our stay here in Nashville and hopefully, next time, it really will be a Carlson Inn and Suites.

The staff was amazing and always helpful and very kind. We were in town for a convention that was downtown and the location was about a 10 to 15 minute drive that was not bad. They were still in the process of renovating some of the rooms so the carpet through out still needed to be replaced and that is understandable. I will stay there again next year as our convention is in Nashville again.once again the staff was the best and very helpful and polite.

A former Country Inn and Suites transitioning to an Econo Lodge - only complaint is the frigid indoor pool. Good breakfast, clean rooms, very quiet, great staff all the way around! 15 - 20 minute drive to downtown Nashville, overall a very good deal. 2 year old grandson loved running the halls lol.

This was a solid option, but by no means a three star. Also, it's now an Econo Lodge as of April. Don't be confused.

We booked for country inn and suites and arrived and had been changed to an Econo lodge. Not what was expected. Bathroom light was completely out by morning. Didn't bother changing rooms because we needed to get ready and check out. Room also had an unpleasant odor.

Good experience close to downtown and room was clean and nice and breakfast was great.

I selected this hotel as out stopover point on a trip to Florida. We have stayed at several Country Inns in the past and we like the fact that they are predictably similar in amenities and layout. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. We took adantage of the free breakfast in the morning which is always a hit with the boys. We also put in some serious pool time- another welcome perk. Overall, this is a great value. We are already booked again (both out and back) for our next Florida trip in 2015.

Very bad cleaning lady she left things behind in our room and it was not very plesant

Since I booked at the last minute and did not know the chain, my expectations were low, but was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Quick check in, clean and roomy accommodations, quiet. Dining hall was large and separate from reception, with more than average breakfast selections. Coffee station in lobby with cookies! Will use them again.

Guy at the counter was great! Once he heard I was trying to watch the football game, he quickly changed my room to one with a flat screen TV. The lobby smells good when you walk in, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the shower looked nice, although the water pressure wasn't all that great. The breakfast was exactly what I usually eat (bagels with greek yogurt and coffee). Overall I only payed $61 for the room and thought it was one of the best values I've ever had on a hotel.

staff at reception seemed somewhat friendly however they stayed breakfast was from 6.30 until 9.30 however when we went to have breakfast at 9.15 most of the breakfast had been packed away and the lady was rude when we asked for milk and butter for toast and cereal. Very disappointing because it was one of the main reason we chose this hotel.

good amenities. awesome suite. definitely a great place to relax. room was very clean.

Got in a little late as my friend and I were on a road trip and this was just a pitstop. Room was spacious and clean, staff was helpful. Really had everything we needed. The breakfast was nice before we hit the road again the next day.
