Spent 7 days in late August and had a great time! The Good -Fantastic white sand blue water beach -Great food quality and variety -Very friendly staff The Not Good -Not really "all-inclusive". Wifi, in-room drinks are extra. More like a restaurant meal plan -No drink service or room service -It can be very hard to get in contact with service desks. Overall it was a great trip and the complaints are nitpicky. I would love to go back

We enjoyed meeting other guests through on-site activities. The staff was very accommodating and worked to make us happy! The rooms could use a little more updating, but were not bad. Complimentary WiFi does not exist, you will have to pay for it if you want to get any sort of service. We enjoyed having the multiple restaurants to visit and went on several very fun snorkeling and hiking excursions!

It was a great vacation, very lovely staff. We are big meat eaters and thought there was a lack of meat during meals. Also, make sure you bring water bottles to refill as they do not provide any for the rooms. We thought there was lack of entertainment at night but could be we went off season. Food was good, snack bar's burger is amazing. Very clean beach, rooms are also very clean, just a bit outdated but nothing crazy. I would also suggest having bath robes for guests. I would recommend friends to stay at Pineapple Beach club for a very nice and relaxing worried free vacation. We also ended up doing stingray city and Sherly heights, amazing experience, the people from Antigua are extremely friendly.

Everything was great! Staff were very friendly. Drinks were good. Food was hit and miss but always something to eat somewhere trust me you won't go hungry! Beach was fabulous!

My husband and I stayed for a week the first week in April, 2017. The location is perfect. The hotel is tucked outside of the busy areas and has enough activities to keep everyone happy. The restaurant entree's are wonderful and change daily. Having to make reservations only 24 hr in advance is not ideal but it did work out with us. The buffet has a nice selection and is great for a quick dinner or lunch. The breakfast buffet is nice with the omelette station as a big attraction. The buffets have something for everyone. Drinks are ample and if you want something special... just ask. Indiana at the Sly Mongoose is very entertaining and such a kind soul. He will keep you smiling and keep your drink filled. The catamaran tour is a must. The best tour for the buck. Very entertaining and the staff is very knowledgeable. The Pineapple Beach Club keeps the beach immaculate and the water is so unbelievably beautiful to swim to your hearts content. We will be back.

The location is remotely perfect for de-teching but still accessible, if need be. Loved the array of foods and themes. The beach water is warmer, calmer and overall nicer toward the public east end with colorful fish. Several sections of resort are undergoing facelifts and lovely enhancements like the afternoon 'tea' station.

We had an wonderful week! The weather was great with a gentle breeze! The water is the ocean but very nice n clean! The resort was clean, very well kept, food was good. There was a variety every day...remember too much us no good. It was enough to make a choice and gave a good meal. Some places may have given lots more but then you have too much to choose from and eat lots more! There is definitely something for everyone! The beachfront rooms are the best locations. You have everything at your feet...walk to beach, food and drinks! Every worker was very nice greeting you all the time and asking what they can do for you! This is a place that needs to be visited! You will have a pleasant vacation! Pack up and go!

Rooms need renovation, small TV with not working remote control, charge for internet service, few options to eat, had to ask every day for amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap), one night the power went out and it took long to reestablish electricity. I made a reservation for one person for three nights but asked me to sign for two persons for seven nights. they changed the number of days only after I strongly refuse to sign the document at registration.

Perfect setting - hospitable, beautiful, relaxed. Food was excellent, and room was exactly as we wanted - great ocean view, big and most pleasant, and beautiful beach and pools. Your website led me to think that there was a shuttle included to and from airport, but we had to pay for a taxi both ways. That needs to be cleared up. Otherwise everything was as expected. Flights went very well. Great value. Thanks for a great week!

We have been going to the Grand Pineapple Beach for years and have seen management changes good and bad. What has not changed is one of the best beaches we have visited and we have been on quite a few. The staff have always treated us very well. We go to Grand Pineapple to rest, relax, and enjoy the beach. There are offsite and onsite activities if you choose and couples and families seem to enjoy the place. We have taken the family and we have gone as a couple; two very different experiences to be sure, but both have been wonderful. The current management have made some good changes including upgrades to the rooms and food. All in all we think it is an excellent value, and will continue to go there.

Everything was OK and adequate. Food and drinks were good. Front desk, Bartenders, maids and servers were efficient but aloof. A good 3-1/2 star hotel. Beds good, balcony was great. Tub/shower old but adequate; took a while for hot water. Beach was clean and calm enough for snorkeling on the north end.The beach was a bit crowded but long enough to select a little privacy if so desired. The water is incredibly warm and clear; beautiful Very secluded resort, nothing available outside of resort. Driving was a terrible experience, but do-able once you get the hang of it. The roads are one lane wide for two way traffic. Stering wheel on the right side of the car, and the cars drive on opposite sides of the road then US. The locals do really drive like crazy people, no respect or courtesy. You have to be fairly aggressive to survive; and watch out for those round-abouts give way to traffic coming from the right. With the rented car saw 75% f the island during the week. Beautiful Island!!! The adjacent island Montserrat Volcano blowing smoke and ash again, enough to cancel our return Delta flight. Eventually got off the island on US Air. Drats!!! I'd highly recommend this Island for an interesting and international experience.

The beach the Pineapple sits on is wonderful. The sand is soft, white and was always clean while we were there. The highlight for us was the fact that you could snorkel right there. The currents are extremely light so there's really no concern of getting tired. As for the hotel, our view was incredible. Buildings 7-9 sit on top of a hill and overlook the bay. So, if you're able to deal with climbing several flights of steps, I recommend the 2nd or 3rd floor. Also, it looked like building 9 was getting new beds while we were there. The room itself was nothing special, but the AC & television worked so we were quite happy. Now, the down sides. The staff (particularly in the restaurant & bar) never really seemed happy to see us (or anyone). Call me crazy, but I think a country that survives on tourism alone should respect that. The other negative is that this resort is on the opposite end of the island from the city. The hotel does it's best to provide entertainment (local bands), but... oh, and I hope you like Eric Clapton. You'll hear at least one song a night. All in all, we were very pleased with our choice of the Grand Pineapple.

The hotel was ok, however, the food was poorly cooked, and was not good. The staff was often not very helpful, and were not friendly. Antigua is a beautiful island, however, and we spent two full days at the Sandals resort which was much nicer.

Long Bay is EXCELLENT for snorkeling. It was nice to see live coral. My husband even saw an octopus. We snorkeled at different beaches during our stay and the beach at Grand Pineapple was by far the best. We have visited several (8) other islands and this vacations has to be one of the best. Talk and smile and the staff and you will be surprised at how friendly they are!

It was a very good and very relaxing experience. The staff was wonderful, the view was great, and the beach was wonderful. The views were also really nice too. Plus they are all-inclusive which makes it even better! Definitely would love to go back and I definitely recommend the resort to anyone going to Antigua.
