Overall great experience. Wish the hotel restaurants menu had more variety.

Staff is amazing!! Shuttle driver Kevin super helpful and very pleasant. I do wish the hotel restaurants had more variety.

All inclusive was not worth it because we are vegeterian and the veggie options was limited Food portion is very very small yet tasty. You have to be fit to stay at this hotel because walking back and forth from the room to your car or to the restaurant is a workout because all the rooms are up the hills ! No complaints for us because we were able to pig out from the local restaurants and was gaureenteed a workout when commenting back to our room. Beautiful ambiance and views are gorgeous!

The hotel staff is five stars to say the LEAST. They are accommodating, professional, PLEASANT and friendly. The facility is beautiful, landscaping, pools, rooms and all of it visually pleasing. My issue with the hotel is the following, I am in good health, able bodied, and I workout regularly but I was exhausted going to and from my room. It was a trek to get from the hotel room to the lobby, pools, restaurants, etc. This hotel is set on a hill and the rooms are nestled within, It makes for beautiful pictures and is maintained wonderfully...but if you have a condition, a handicap or just plain don't work out do NOT stay here. The last thing is my room had an ant/bug problem that I have not encountered at any Caribbean hotel or home, I think it was unique to a few rooms because only a few of us that traveled together had this issue and we all had the rooms that had the outdoor pool accommodation. To end on a positive for me EVERY meal was wonderful, the food was definitely a highlight for me.

Nice rooms, great friendly staff, beaches very close. Good location on the island.

Lovely location great views. Great staff upper rooms nicer than plunge pool rooms

I love to visit new countries, explore new cultures. Sugar Ridge service was excellent, complimentary breakfast was on point. I had the Antiguan breafast every morning with bush tea. The Carmichael resturant has the most beautiful view out looking the sea. The rooms are clean and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. I spent a week, and I can't wait to go back again next year.

I was surprise with my stay at the Sugar Ridge resort. The appearance is very deceptive. I was not satisfy with the professionalism of the executive staff. The room was not of 4 star quality, the patio had a number of stray cats hanging around all the time, could not enjoy sitting on the outside, without cat begging for food.

This was a great resort on the West side of the island. The staff were very friendly, the accommodations were nice as well. Air conditioning was COLD and had my own little infinity pool on the balcony looking towards the Caribbean Sea. Would stay here again.

Great hotel. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. We did not opt for the all inclusive so we could explore local restaurants. Sugar ridges High end restaurant (Carmichaels is delicious I would definitely recommend eating there at least one during the stay) Very close to everything we wanted to do. We rented a car but the hotel offers a ride to the beaches as well as an ON SITE car rental if you just want one for the day. Would definitely go back

Restaurant was great (Breakfast and Dinner) Every lunchtime we were travelling in Antigua

Stayed at Sugar Ridge whilst in Antigua for a long weekend recently. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was immaculately clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurants were excellent. All in all, a great boutique hotel.

The biggest disappointment was our room had no air-conditioning upon arrival and was not working until the second day of our stay. We had traveled all day and were exhausted but had to leave our balcony door open for a small bit of air there was and the room filled with bugs and Mosquitos!! We should have been compensated for this huge problem but the hotel said thar since we booked with [...]they could not make an adjustment! Big deal they gave us a 10 percent discount on our hotel expense bill amounting to $16.....big deal!!

I had a great dissapointment given by several factors: - The hotel does NOT state that is not located in the beach!! the pitures in the website are missleading. You need to wait for a shuttle (up to 30 mins) to get to the beach. - The attention was way too variable, and I felt that there were different ways to treat different guests. We didn't got the attention level you may require from these type of hotels. People in the front desk gave us very little information (to none) when requested. With the exception of the restaurant's people, the rest of them (front desk, spa, bellboys,...) were not polite at all.

Hotel room is very spacious and beautiful with many nice features. However, the level of service for how the hotel is positioning/marketing themselves is not up-to-par. The staff is not very friendly and limited in number. Also, don't forget your mosquito repellant as there are a LOT of mosquitos at the property.
