I know this is a long review but I have wanted to give my honest opinion on my experience at Siam elegance hotel, so if you are thinking about going to this hotel please do read this!. When we arrived at Siam elegance hotel we arrived quite late around 10:30pm, we weren't greeted by anyone at the door just went straight to the front desk, straight away it was a struggle to find anyone who could understand us as no one spoke English enough to work out what we were saying, this was one of the biggest issues for me for the whole holiday. Once we got our key we were shown up to our room which was nice on first impressions until we found the wardrobe door was broken which I had to fix and the shower when being used went from warm to really hot, too hot to even stand under. The only good things about the room was the view from the balcony was great pool and sea view which was good to wake up to, air conditioning was good worked perfectly, the room was kept very clean which I have to give credit to the cleaners for that every day we had new towels and fresh sheets which was a positive and the bed was very comfortable which is crucial as we all have to have a good nights sleep!. When we had freshened up went we downstairs to get some food as there is late snacks every night, the food was basic and not much variety however I didn't think much of of it as it was the late snacks I thought maybe it was just at this time but unfortunately breakfast, lunch and dinner consisted of hardly any variety in the buffet and I found myself eating from the BBQ food outside near the pool which was chicken and rice every night (I must add the chef who cooked on this BBQ did put food out to a good standard, thankfully!!) but if he wasn't there doing so I wouldn't have had much to eat. There are other restaurants on site a Turkish, Italian, seafood and Thai which are only on certain days and you have to book 3 days in advance otherwise you won't get a seat. Out of the three we went to the Turkish and Italian both I would not recommended anyone go to, One of the visits is free which is given by the hotel the other you have to pay $25 each person so we ended up paying $50 to eat at the Italian which was a disaster! The starters took 45 minutes to come out and the mains where overcooked I took one bite and left the rest. We didn't eat the mains or desserts and asked for our money back which was a strong debate getting that as they thought the food was cooked perfectly and I quote the waiter said "the reason it has taken so long to come out is because it's the best". If you do stay at this hotel and unfortunately experience this for yourselves I do recommended a little kebab shack just outside the front, no 5 star of however we found it much nicer than the restaurants food. The animation team themselves were good, however only two of them spoke English much better than everyone else in the hotel, although the evening entertainment wasn't great at all, really out of the 7 days there 2 nights were worth going too apart from that it was a bit of a let down, also all entertainment is done in Russian and Turkish which for us being English we found it difficult to enjoy and get involved. Day time activities were good, water polo, volley ball, darts and on the beach you could do all water sports if you liked at an extra cost of course. The only problem for us was we were the only English couple there which automatically created a real bad problem with the language especially when trying to get involved with all the activities throughout the day. I must add the man who runs the shisha and candy floss stand is great, he's friendly and welcoming and speaks good enough English to have a conversation. If you stay here you must see him, to be honest in all the negatives he was one of the main positives of the holiday experience. He doesn't work for the hotel just pays to have his stall there lovely man and extremely attentive. The hotel itself is lovely a bit out dated could do with a refurbishment but generally good, it's just the things inside which need to be sorted to make it a better stay. Overall I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, I'm not completely biased to say it's all negative because there are some positives here, we may have only spent around £850pp but I still think for that kind of money the standard should be much higher.
Nice hotel, with clean rooms. The food is OK but not special. Wifi only works decent in the lobby and beach chairs are for free. There were a lot of Russian visitors which spoil with the food (a shame)
Hotel is old, at least furniture and facilities looks old. It is exclusively family hotel. Too many Russians in there. Food is good. Rooms are good. Facilities are ok. Entertaining is poor. Hygiene is poor. Maybe because shezlong, tables, chairs and everything is old. you can go much better place in Belek. Average.
We just arrived from our holiday 2 days ago and had an overall pleasant experience. Although the hotel is listed as a 5 star property, in my opinion it should be more like a 3 star facility. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, although most do not speak English, but they work very hard as we saw many that worked from breakfast service until late in the night. The Animation team is excellent. The property could probably use a bit of a face-lift as there were a few areas that were a bit outdated and shabby, but overall very clean. The pool area is beautiful and well kept and the slides and children's area are great. The elevators are a disaster. If you are in a hurry, you're better off taking the stairs as there are long waits for the elevator. The internet service is almost non-existant. Only works in certain areas, close to the lobby. The rooms are comfortable, with excellent maid service but the lighting in the rooms is very poor. The food was a challenge as there were long waits in line and sometimes the food was not very warm or well seasoned. Our alacarte experience was horrible. There is no alacarte, you just get served one menu. We never received our appetizer after a half an hour wait and when they finally bought out the main course, it was luke warm and the meat was tough like leather. If you are coming to the Siam for a swimming holiday with kids, it is a wonderful choice, with beautiful pools, beach and mini club.
Service was perfect during the entire visit. It deserves even more than 5*. Staff is very kind and they will try to help you whenever you need a help. Food is more than delicious. You will enjoy each day of your stay
Been here of two week in Aug 2017 1. Hygiene - disaster - pool tiles are not cleaned, so every morning you come wet from pool immediately there is lots of dirt near your chairs. Restaurants tables - sticking because not cleaned well, food left overs between parts of the table. Restaurant tiles sticking and slippery. Toilet in front of restaurant smells like .... like in some highway stop. Toilets in rooms are not cleaned every day. In two weeks our bad sheets were not changes..Tables on the sunshades not cleaned at all...so you put your sun glasses on such a dirts.. 2. Airconditioning - it is just cooling system, not adjustable air-conditioning, so every time you switch it on it starts cooling very cold air, no meter if you adjust 25celisus.. 3. Internet - no internet on the pool, not in the rooms, only in some small spot near reception and near cay bar. And no intention to improve it. 4. Customer service - we wanted to change room because of the air-condition, they showed us worse rooms...All other complaints we had they said just it is like that, no intention to improve it... 5. Waiters - work all day and all nights, they are simply running because around because of lots of work and no service they can provide...There is no essentials on the tables for breakfast / lunch.. 6. No pool/sea beach guy to help 7. Food - one or two kind of meat and for each you should wait 10-15 min in a line to get it. Lots of junk food - carbs, no healthy food like you would expect in 5 star hotel (only salads) 8. Facility - stated that it is renovated, no way, maybe they painted some walls, all else is disaster. This is 3 star hotel and they charge like 5. 9. Nobody speaks english and they are rude toward guests. 10.
I went to this hotel last week and i dont advise anybody to go there. In the reception they dont speak english and extremly rude esp. This guy nakass his name i dont remember. Zero customer service. The internet doesnt exist!! Extremly weak. The elevators are disaster slowwwww. The food is the worst (its all about quality not quantity!!!) No kettle in the room. I dont recommend at all!
We just arrived from our vacation and I can say that is excellent well organized hotel. The staff is working very hard and you don't wait anywhere for anything I mean for drinks on the bars. The is excellent animation team and is very interesting for kids a lot of activities during the day face painting games dancing drawings ect. I recommend this hotel for families with kids. There is excellent beach and pools, especially kids pool. The food was good a lot of choice, the staff on the reception speaks English and helped us about everything that we asked. The alacarte restorants are interesting, there is a party on the pools during the day with programs and activities.I can say that this hotel is worth for the money we have paid.
I just arrived from antalya today , Just want to say it's a trap don't go there I don't know from.where I can start But I Will start with advantages to be honest : 1- kids pool very good 2- food is very good 3- beach is good Disadvantages (very long list ): 1- internet is died and very very very slow and you can't rate it as slow it's not exist . 2- receptionists do not know English some words only , and they are not helpful at all and they don't want to waste there valuable time to answer any question from you 3- the luggage guys are rude and looking only for tips 4 - there is no kettle in.the room 5-rooms small and and well organized 6- room lighting is poooooor 7- fredg(mini bar not cold) 8- air conditioning bad 9- shampoo and lotion in the bathroom daily changing bad bad bad 10- double bed is small also 11-elevators old and you need to wait long time to go up or down waiting the que I don't recommend this Hotel or Motel :) To anyone Don't Go There
We get a very good deal at this hotel for our family and was very nice for the money we pay In a few words... the hotel is small, compact, ideal for families because everything is close to you. Good facilities for the children's. food was good. One remark I have : the person who is serving the ice cream in the afternoon needs more training to be more nice and to respect some clean less standards. The ice cream station was a mess, he was serving every day without plastic gloves, and was a lot o empty boxes all over the place.
