Clean and very green area, incredibly good food all day long and very good service! Special thanks to Sofia from the Kids Club! Most of the personnel are very friendly and very helpful. It'd be better if we were explained about the restaurants, towels, etc. just after arrival instead of exploring the territory ourselves. Wish the cleaning maids were more attentive as on our last day there our son's favourite toy disappeared from the room after the cleaning. To see your own child heartbroken and to be asked every 10 min when the toy would return home isn't the best way to finish the holiday. Eventually the toy was found (huge Thanks to everyone who helped to find it!) but the hotel management offered to sent it to us by our cost (but it was lost be the hotel stuff). If not this incident I'd easily give the highest points to this hotel.
A cosy and friendly hotel. Management and staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Good selection of foods at breakfast and dinner. Plenty of vegetarian choices, including hot main courses. Golf courses within easy walking distance, regular minibus transfers if required. Courses themselves in excellent condition and with the best practice facilities in Belek.
Currently enjoying our stay in this wonderful hotel. It’s the smallest of the three Gloria hotels, all of which we have stayed at, but this is our favourite. Of all the 5 star hotels we have visited in Belek over the years, the selection and quality of hot vegetarian dishes at dinner are second to none and the breakfast buffet is amazing! The layout and ambience of the Verde make for a relaxing atmosphere and the management and staff are particularly professional, helpful and friendly. Our special thanks to management - Burhan, Erdal and Ismail; reception staff Oguz, Mustafa and Darezhan; restaurant and bar staff whom we have met in previous Gloria visits - Ilkay, Huseyin and Mehmet. Looking forward to returning next year!
Lovely hotel nice staff excellent food ,was a bit quiet -time of year.some international drinks not available, beds are a bit hard . If going get the shuttle bus to Gloria golf or serenity for a look around doesn’t cost anything.
Exceptional service from start to finish! Excellent food and so much to choose from. Staff were all very polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The facilities were fantastic, hotel , bars, restaurants and rooms so clean and they catered for your every need. Golf courses were stunning and again the quality of service was second to none. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!
fantastic selection of food at any time of the day, that also goes for the drinks as well. The staff where perfect, always at your beck and call if required, The hotel it self was first class, any problems or queries were dealt with pronto.Cant wait for a return visit.
Having stayed at most of the other hotels in the Belek area we knew that Gloria would be good, but it exceeded our expectations in temrs of the accomodation, the entertainment, food, service, golf coursesand value. We are already planningour return.
Just returned from Gloria Verde on a golf trip An excellent hotel at this time of year for golfers Transfer 5 minutes to Gloria courses every 30 minutes always on time Twin rooms with 2 x double beds plenty of space for golf equipment etc. The all inclusive food/drinks deal is excellent Great barbecue at lunch and dinner - the only criticism I would have is at dinner The dinner time were tup to 9pm but the staff started clearing away at 8.45pm So if you came in at that time you missed out on choices of food If the restaurant shows up tp 9pm you should be able to still get all the menu choice Would definitely stay here again
We enjoied to stay at your hotel, and the golf courses were exellent! I think we will be back later!! The room was good, the area around was good, all swinming area were also exellent. The reataurant and food good!!
Yet another fabulous stay nearly 18 months on this time as it was closed for refurbishment during my last visit to Belek in March 2017. This time I was with a group of 12 ladies from my golf club, majority not having been before and totally reliant on what I had told them of my previous experiences in Belek when we made our booking - hence my ever so slight concern about what they would think... I need not have worried! Right from our arrival around 5pm the group was impressed with the wonderful reception they laid on with glasses of bubbly and speedy check-in, being shown to our rooms all on the same floor which was so handy especially with all the newbies, with a welcome platter of fruit and bottle of wine in each room too! We had plenty of time to freshen up and go down to the Zodiac bar in the Atrium for aperitifs before going to the Mythos Restaurant for the buffet dinner that night. Our party were amazed at the quality and choice of branded drinks in the Zodiac bar which was extremely unexpected by most! Just for example, three choices of branded Gin included Gordons, Botanist and London Gin! The tonic water was bottles of Schweppes! Dinner choice was substantial and there was a barbecue station just outside the main restaurant offering quite a selection of fish and meats to be cooked to your liking. This was available most nights and we simply loved it as you could pick what you wanted to be cooked as you wanted, to go with some salad and vegetables from the buffet. The choices available each night for the delicious desserts was not helpful to any of our waistlines but hey, we were on holiday and so made the most of it :-). A particular favourite in my group was the creme caramel and one day we were late to dinner and there was none left, with no expectation of more to come as the restaurant was due to close soon. A comment at our table about the disappointment was overheard and the ever present manager appeared to ask if there was anything he could help with -- lo and behold 12 creme caramels turned up at our table within 10 minutes Every night there is a different theme to the Main buffet but there is always plenty of other choice too. Once a week you are allowed to visit one of the two A la Carte restaurants and this is a lovely experience. We went to the Garuda for our asian meal first and sampled quite a few different dishes. The fish tempura starter, sweet & sour chicken, lamb dish with rice on the side were extremely nice for me. I even had some of the sushi served to everyone and some spring rolls too. Many of our party tried the crispy duck with pancakes and I am told this was also really good The next one was the Bazilika for french cuisine and having been there many a time before, I knew this restaurant was good. However, I was delighted by the unanimous thumbs up I got from all the party; As they put it - it was a simply fabulous meal and the best experience of our trip so far! The duck mouse was lovely; fillet steak was melt in the mouth; the crepe suzettes to die for...... We are normally a fairly noisy crowd but there were many long silences with a few yums... during the meal as everyone savoured what was in front of them! A couple of us had been and thought it wonderful before but we also agreed that the Bazilika had surpassed all our previous experiences this time --simply stunningly prepared food which was so unbelievably delicious. Not sure what made the difference -- a new french chef??? Majority of afternoons we visited the Neptune bar at the pool & seafront for a light late lunch after our round of golf. There is a salad bar and a small menu but all prepared for you individually and on some days there was a barbecue out here too. My favourite was some grilled seabass, sea bream or salmon with salad and a glass of wine sat looking out towards the sea -- sheer bliss! The array of choices for breakfast in the Mythos was huge and there was also a hot station making omelettes to order which is always nice. You can always find something to suit your own breakfast habits eg there was always delicious "proper" porridge for those that can't have breakfast without this etc Besides these eating places, there is the popular patisserie in the Atrium serving yummy cakes, desserts, biscuits and chocolates all afternoon -- if you are in the mood to indulge. The Zodiac bar can also provide burgers and sandwiches at times when everything else is closed but you are feeling peckish but we did not ever need this! Now to the accommodation -- Early November is considered the Winter season out in Belek! Hence no air conditioning and only hot air blowing out. We had really hot weather into 23 to 24 deg each day and this made the rooms hot and I found it difficult to get off to sleep unless I left the balcony doors and bedroom windows open! Luckily there was no sign of any insects like mosquitos and midges to worry about. However, despite being on the fourth floor I could hear music and voices for quite a few hours by leaving these open. This was the only irritation experienced and it is probably the same every time I have stayed in any resort in Belek -- I do wish they would all reconsider this as it affects everyone and is always being commented on. The beds are extremely comfortable with a good selection of pillows. I do not agree with a couple of the recent reviews on this count as even the linen used is of top quality and adds to the overall comfort of the beds. The rooms are well appointed with lovely bathrooms -- the shower cubicle is big and spacious and has an overhead rain shower as well as a wall one. There is always plenty of hot water with a good pressure anytime of the day and night. The selection of toileteries is good as always and plenty of it. Good quality towels and bedroom slippers and bathrobes along with a proper hairdrier make it extremely comfortable The rooms have a mini safe which is easy to operate and good selection of tea and coffee to make yourself a hot drink with good sized mug and a large bottle of water to use in the kettle. The mini bar is well stocked with assorted soft drinks and beer as well as some crisps, crackers etc which are all replaced daily and available to be used as part of the all inclusive package. Golf -- The three course on the Gloria complex were great as usual. they are not ultra tough and so were good for the different level of abilities we had in our group. We played and enjoyed all three Gloria courses and also played the Sultan which was a brilliant experience for all the newbies in our group. We were lucky enough that the company we booked through managed to get us some tickets to go to the final day of the Turkish Airlines Open and what an experience this was. It is very different from at home as there are much fewer crowds and you can get up extremely close to the players to watch them taking their shots -- sitting grenade, watching Justin Rose take the winning birdie putt on the 18th was probably one of the highlights of our week. The Spa -- we loved the heated indoor pool and Thalasso seawater jacuzzi and a few of us had some massages as always. Nori from Bali provided me with two amazing individually tailored massages which my sore muscles really needed. She has magic in those hands. The facilities in the spa are superb with nice changing rooms with lockers, towels, slippers etc so you don't really need to take anything else with you Service -- The service ethic in the Gloria group is distinctive. Each and every department and employee make you, the client feel that there is nothing that is too much trouble for them. It is unbelievable that I have found this to be the case without fail on each of my visits -- so much so that it becomes difficult now to pull out one or two for a special mention as they are all so good. This time, i'd like to thank Elif in particular for taking so much care to always (overtime she saw me!) ask how our stay was going and if there was anything she could do to help. These little things and attention to detail really do make such a difference My group of twelve were so impressed and loved our trip and stay at the Gloria Verde so much, I have been given the go-ahead to organise another trip next November and so I hope to have an even bigger group with us next year -- Cant wait!
