Older hotel and its age shows but the excellent location and wonderful staff make up for the problems due to the hotel's age. Great value considering the location and excellence of the staff. Parking was eay and affordable and restaurant convenient. Also, the in-room air conditioning worked really well and was quiet.

Nice hotel, walking distance to city dock. Parking in garage across street is $5-6 a day.

The title sums it up to a T. Best thing location and not having to drive, if you do not mind walking 1/2 mile or more. Staff friendliness, mediocre at best. Saggy mattresses need updating, carpet needs replacing, no stand or surface to put suitcase in. Lots of stains on carpet and bathroom. Furniture minimal in amount and usefulness. Can't speak for the food. Did not try it as I thought it was pricey and if the rooms were any indication.. Comfy Reception area. Free coffee. But this is an Irish hotel! Where's the tea? For the right price I'd stay here again because of location. With a car I'd probably choose Comfort Inn r something out near the highway. Newer with more amenities.

Nothing bad to say. The hotel was nice, location was nice, friendly staff. I'd stay there again.

My husband was teaching for four days and we were celebrating an anniversary at the end of the week, so I came along. The hotel was in a great location. I walked around the historic district every day and found great places to eat and explore. The dollar shuttle was also very convenient to the hotel. On the whole, the staff was pleasant. My main complaint was housekeeping. I had asked the first day of our stay that they come late morning/early afternoon. The front desk assured me that they could come between 11 and 1. Housekeeping did not show up at all two days. The rest of the time, they had to clean around me since they came after I had already come back (between 2 and 4). One time, they were cleaning the room next to me as I was leaving. When I returned, they had not cleaned my room even though I had put the Service Please sign on the door! This and the fact that the carpets seemed dirty makes me score them low on cleanliness and service.

Nice enough hotel in a great spot to walk around Annapolis. Great price during the boat show. Was definitely worth it. Helped us out by checking us in very early when we arrived - even after a sold out night prior. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was ok. The carpet wasn't dirty, but wasn't really clean either. No complaint about the bed comfort, but the heat was strange. It was hard to operate and figure out the thermostat. Got a deal on the room, so the price was fantastic, and we got street parking right in front of the hotel-saved on the valet fee.

This was a great hotel. Nice, clean, big and had all the amenities that a business traveler needs.

room was clean but had musty smell air conditioner worked great but was very noisey you have to valet no choice breakfast was 30 dollars for 1 egg sandwich and 1 omellete and coffee asked if could have bacon and egg sandwich not on menu and cook said can,t do it

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and they went above and beyond our expectations! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect. Location is about a ten minute walk to Main Street Annapolis.

Great location and clean, well furnished rooms. No free parking.

I was staying for a extended period of time at the O'Callaghan. It was a very comfortable, nice hotel with a great location but the gym was not very good- it could use upgrading.

Hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable. Location is OK, somewhat on the edge of the touristy stuff. Rooms were quiet, although not very busy time when we stayed. Climate control thermostat was an annoyance as it couldn't be completely independently set. I like to run the fan constantly to drown out ambient noise, but this couldn't be done here. Had to listen to the whole system clunking on and off all night. Valet parking only - $20, a public garage is about a block away for the roughly the same cost for 24 hr.

The O'callagan is located within in walking distance of the night lift in Annapolis which was key for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downfall was the hotel only has valet which is $20 per night.

This was our 2nd stay here. It was just for 1 night but overall, very nice. Valet was on point, easy check in, and nice staff. Walking distance to all of Annapolis. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Quick check in, great stay, great location. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room. Everything I expected from a hotel.

great location,free trolly tip 2am, over priced,tub didn't drain

The staff was very accommodating during my stay. I arrived around 1am and the men working helped me with my bags and parked my car with a warm welcome. The bed was very comfortable and had a warm, cozy atmosphere. I checked out at noon, but they allowed me to keep my car parked there while I walked to the Naval Academy for homecoming festivities.

This is a nice place, not right on the waterfront but walkable and across the street from the free trolley that runs every 15 mins. Clean room comfortable beds. Only negative is the valet only parking for $20.

We booked the room for 4 people, and were only provided coffee and towels for 2. Also, we booked for one night through this site, and when I received the bill on my last morning, I realized they tried to charge me for the room twice. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating, and they fixed these problems right away. Minor inconveniences, but overall a nice stay.
