Checked in easily enough. The room itself was not the prettiest... Wooden boards around the air conditioner/heater, what looked like water-damaged walls, three light switches and only one of them turned anything on, a weird buzzing sound in the bathroom. I booked a non-smoking room and the hallway reaked of cigarette smoke so bad and it was also in the room a bit. Sat down on the couch and the couch just reaked of smoke. Once I realized that, I asked if there were any other rooms available to switch to. I was told there were no rooms by the front desk. I took sleeping pills to be able to pass out, and then my friend realized the heater didn't work. It was below 30 degrees that night. My friend who was awake, called the front desk about it, and they then told him we could go to another room if we wanted, at which point my friend told them that we were told there were no other rooms and I was already asleep and couldn't go to another room. He asked if we could at least get extra blankets and was told there were none. He asked if we could have the blankets from the rooms not being used and the front desk said he'd "think about it" and then never came or tried to remedy the situation at all. Worst motel stay ever.

Positives: I slept well. It was relatively quiet. The shower was strong and worked well. The bed was pretty comfortable. Negatives: The room smelled like mold. I had to shut off the air conditioner because it seemed the smell was coming from inside the unit, but it was likely also in the carpet. No soap in the bathroom (but the guy at the front desk offered me 3! to make up for it) LOL. There were ants in the bathroom, visible black mold in spots in the bathroom and chunks missing from the ceiling which was obviously water damaged. The sliding door to our room was unlocked when we arrived - had we not locked it I wonder who would have showed up at night or when we were out for dinner. The breakfast ended at 9am - at 8am they started letting it run out and by 8:30 they had taken items away....because at 8:45 it was slim pickings - a couple pieces of cinnamon bread, some cereal, no stir sticks, and they had removed the waffle machine. Hard to recommend this place. For $55 a night, if you just need a place to quickly crash and move on in the morning, then this is your hotel. If you want a clean room, forget it. I found out only after I had booked it that it had horrible reviews but was on hold at Orbitz for 1 hour listening to the same music setlist about 5 times trying to change my booking. I'll never stay at this hotel again, and I'll never use Orbitz again due to the poor customer service.

Room door cannot close properly. Faucet in bath tube is dripping all day/night. There are not much to eat/drink in breakfast. Smell in room and in lobby are typically having ageing problem.

Run down, dirty rooms, lamps did not work, no outlets to charge phones.

Never ever go there again and wasting of ur money!!! You will end up like me and dislike this place!!!

This place is rough. From the exterior, not so bad. Our room, 246, was pretty gross. This grossness includes mold, rust, the ceiling separating from the wall, the shower leaked, the toilet ran constantly, the carpet was yucky, the bathroom lacked standard toiletries, the door wall stuck, the headboard was busted, some light switches were faulty. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear people fighting/arguing around the clock. Likely prostitution. The only positive was that the pillows we pretty comfy.

I woke up at 1:30 (Jun 30, 2017) in the morning with about ten bed bug bites. I caught two bugs and immediately went to the front desk. The employee there refused to give a refund right away, saying that we needed to talk to the general manager in the morning. He signed a note saying that we should get a refund then. We moved to a different room, and attempted to negotiate with the general manager in the morning. However, his attitude was extremely offensive. In contrary to helping us, he refused to give the refund and claimed that the employee last night did not work here. He even claimed that he did not work there and tried not to disclose his name. Furthermore, he yelled and made fun of my accent, eventually threatening to double charge my credit card. He then called the police to "get us out of there". The police came and depolarized the situation, but the manager claimed that he made no such threat, and that he was."following protocol". We visited Ann Arbor for a college tour at the University of Michigan, but this made it a terrible experience.

My first hotel room didn't have a working lock, so they switched me to another room, the second didn't have a working A/C. Finally they put me in another room with a working lock and working A/C. I was told the maintenance guy was off that day. The next day I went down for the free breakfast, well when I went down the first time, they had barely anything there and no chance of restocking the breakfast. I went down at 8am and breakfast ends at 9, so there is no way they should be out of as much as they were. I made the last waffle and tried to get the guy after me more batter to make another one but they were out. Well they explained that the owner was gone on vacation, and the other manager had an emergency. I can completely understand that happening but you should always have someone cover what your customers need. Nevertheless, day 2 was even worse as they only had a few pastries and chocolate covered donuts. Some of the other customers and I had to ask just to get some yogurts. So yet again, no one went and got the supplies or tried to have it delivered. They basically said how it was out of their hands, which I am guessing there is no manager in the morning to address the issue. They seem to have no value or standard for customer service. This was my first and only time staying in a Days Inn and I will not be back.

Not bad, I will stay again just didn't have the cleanest looking towels, probably needs remodel but very friend staff and kind.

Exactly What you would expect from this kind of hotel. Decent location, short drive into downtown. All I needed for the weekend.

Although this hotel looked clean and nice on the outside, it was disappointing on the inside. It was moderately clean with random spots in the bathroom that could have gotten another round of cleanliness to it but the worst part were the people staying in the hotel. There was either a fight happening, TV too loud, or people talking too loudly while trying to sleep. All the while the front desk never picked up the phone to answer or listen to our complaints. The cops ended up needing to come to the hotel to stop a really bad fight happening between the couple upstairs since the front desk wasn't answering. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again unless it was a last resort

The highlight of our stay was cupcakes in the main lobby and friendly staff.

The hotel was horrible. Paid for two nights and ended up staying less than 6hrs. It doesn't look anything like the pictures. The place is in dire need of a remodel. The front entrance soffit is falling apart and has missing fascia. The whole place needs new paint. Doors are in rough shape, carpet is a disaster, there were multiple water leak marks on the ceiling, torn wallpaper, holes in the walls from previously attached fixtures and next to no outlets. The place is generally crummy and should cost $10 per night as opposed to $130. The dining area looks big in the pictures but in reality is tiny. The whole place smelled like chlorine from a swimming pool and to top it all off there was a giant spider in the bathtub that we had to kill minutes after we walked in the door. I wish I would have taken some pictures to share, but was way to upset and just left.

Convenient location Parking good. Nice staff Easy check in and out

The pictures makes the hotel look nice but it's actually not. Seemed more like a motel. The building was old and rusting away. Seemed like there was no one to maintain the building at all.

Thin walls, freeway noise, grungy everywhere, faint smell of stale cigarette smoke permeates everything, trash around grounds.

all was good. clean room. wonderful staff. great HOT tub.

The only reason I stayed here was it was near my destination. Everything is broken. The toaster, the oj machine, the vending machines, the workout equipment, many of the electrical outlets, the television in my room...all out of order or simply broken. The water pressure was terrible. I simply cannot recommend this place, unless it's the only place available.

This hotel is old and in disrepair. The first room they gave us had no working air-conditioning. The second room had a non working toilet and patches of mud and tape where items were ripped off the wall.

We stayed here for the graduation at University of Michigan. It was a safe, convenient location. They were very knowledgeable about Ann Arbor and how to navigate. Any question I had was answered. Every thing was clean and ready on time. Book your room at least one year in advance for the graduation weekend! Every hotel sell out!
