We spent three night here in mid September, the hotel is clean neat and tidy, the attached restaurant was a great find when we first arrived. Service was excellent, both at front of house and in the bar and restaurant. The breakfast is well worth the extra money. The only downside was the overpriced leisure facilities of the Sauna Hamman and Jacuzzi. Not really worth €10 a pop per person. We had an even number room over looking the river and the city which was exceedingly quiet
Nice, spacious room with lovely view of river and mountains. We were able to sleep with open window for the cool mountain air. Excellent breakfast, including fresh juice and champagne! Centrally located and easy walk to Caldera. Very helpful in holding our bags after checkout.
We did not choose this hotel but it was selected for us as we were part of a package tour to the area. We stayed at this hotel for three nights. As a location the hotel is well located and within walking distance to a lot of areas: shops, restaurants, old town and popular tourist sites. We had a room at the rear of the hotel which had a great view of the mountains and river. The hotel was very clean and our room was very good. The bed was huge and the bedding was crisp and clean. The room had a fridge and there was no fee for the safe which was massive compared to others we had come across. We were staying half board and although the food was nothing to write home about, it was satisfactory. I would advise getting to the meals early as replenishments were minimal and some guests complained that some items were cold eg. Fried eggs at breakfast. Another gripe was that the hot water used to make tea was not hot. It comes from the coffee machine which does not boil the water. In general I wound the staff, particularly in the bar, were far from friendly. It was almost like you were disturbing them doing nothing when you wanted them to get you a drink. Having said that I would say that seemed to be the attitude of most waiters/waitresses in the city we came across. It is something the tourist board of the city should address as it did not lend itself to a great advertisement for this beautiful city which has so much to offer. I would recommend a stay at the hotel despite some minor criticism which may appear harsh.
This well-located hotel is a good choice in Andorra La Vella. It is close to the old town, shopping, restaurants and the river walk. Our spacious room had a comfortable bed with nice bedside tables. The room had a desk, large closets, a safe and a mini-fridge. The large bathroom had a combo tub/shower. Everything was clean and our room was quiet. All staff members were pleasant and helpful, including housekeepers. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant for dinner which we enjoyed. The waiters were attentive and we had prompt service. Our only disappointment was the breakfast which was overpriced and not very good. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and we would return if we ever find ourselves in Andorra again.
We had a room with a mountain view, overlooking the river. We opted to take the B&B package, and were not disappointed, even the fussy would find everything they wanted to eat. The omelette was Superb. The gourmet restaurant staff were very helpful and professional. The food excellent and well presented. Overall, a lovely hotel, with secure parking.
The hotel is 5min walk from the main shopping street. You can park downstairs for about 14 Euro per night (after 10% hotel discount). The room we had was very large, fresh and nicely decorated in wood. Service at the reception was excellent
Hotel is great. Location is perfect, walking distance to center and magnificient mountain view. Hotel staff is very friendly. They helped us for every question we asked. Breakfast was delicious. Fantastic hotel.
We stayed here with two kids, the room was very nice, clean, and the staff were helpful. On booking when we made the reservation the hotel showed that they offer a pool when in fact there isn't one, and what is offered is a jacuzzi and a spa that requires payment of an extra fee for access. The kids were disappointed since they were promised to stay in a hotel with a pool. Otherwise the hotel was amazing, and our stay was great .
We stopped over in Andorra on our way to Spain from the UK. This hotel provided a great base for first-time explorers - situated between the high street and the "old quarter". Generously sized rooms which came with a desk. Rooms seemed clean enough and the spa was although modest, was sufficient (at least during the "off season"). Access to parking and spa comes at an extra for us.
Very convenient for the town centre, the old town (Barri Antic), the spa and plenty of bats and snackeries. Parking (14 euros/day 😕) . The room was large and spacious with apparently recently renovated fittings and a very comfortable king size bed. The east facing second floor room looked out over the river/flood sluice, so there was a very pleasant rushing water sound as a backdrop. The Cirque du Soleil was also tuning up during the afternoon. Super-lucky, as we were able to sneak in for the dress rehearsal on our last night. The downstairs bar is a relaxing place to spend an hour or two in the evening with tapas and a very quaffable bottle of Cabernet Blanc (only 11 euros!). Breakfast on the 5th floor offers plenty of choice including made to order omelettes and freshly pressed fruit juice. I really liked the overall ambience and efficient friendliness of the staff. The only reason for not giving the full 5 points was the lack of any tea or coffee facilities in the room - and to be honest that's only worth docking a half a point. Would visit here again.
