We had a great room overlooking the river for a great price. Maybe the rate was good as we stayed on a Sunday night and the town was quiet but all the staff were very helpful and attentive and the room was huge. I would have no problem staying here again if I were to revisit Andorra.
Modern hotel downtown, on the river and facing the central park. Short walks to both the business area and the historic section. Room was spacious, very comfortable, with refrigerator and a window that one could open at night to enjoy the cool, clean mountain air. Included breakfast was varied and substantial. To nitpick: no in room coffee maker; ice had to be delivered from the bar downstairs (but always very prompt); the fitness center consisted of treadmill, bike, and an eliptical, but no weights or resistance equipment; TV reception was spotty(and it was the World Cup!).
Our room faced the Pyrenees and overlooked a rushing river that provided soothing white noise as we slept. There is not much to do in the town itself unless it is ski season and you are a skier. Many restaurants in the area do not operate on Sunday evenings although there is a restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast consisted of just about anything that one would want.
For those visiting for the first time, expect a full city in the mountains. There is even a Hard Rock Cafe Andorra! The hotel is in a great location. WiFi was fast. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The room was impeccably clean. Breakfast had many options including a fresh DIY OJ option. I was disappointed about the limited pool/sauna/spa hours.
We had a triple room and it was big enough for us. Also very clean. But the hotel is extremely noisy. I couldn’t sleep till 12 u when it was quiet. Also you put the don’t disturb paper on the door but the cleaning ladies keep on entering. Very annoying! It happened 2 times in 24 hours!
Nice Spa, Excellent food, excellent service/personnel, nice location. And TripAdvisor needs more that 200 characters, which is OK, but the summary was good already. I just want to write a review, not a book or a story about my weekend there!!!! ;-)
We visited Andorra for one day basically to say "we went to Andorra". The hotel was easy to find and centrally located where we could walk to several restaurants, the Dali clock, church, etc. We had a car and parking was available at an indoor lot connected to the hotel for somewhere around €14 a night. The young lady at reception was very polite and spoke good English as well. Recommended!
This hotel was an unexpected treasure on our trip to Andorra. The hotel is close to the shopping district, the historic city center, and the bus terminal, as well as many restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms were well appointed and clean, the staff was extremely helpful, and they even served a great breakfast.
If you visit Andorra, we highly recommend this hotel. Good location and great service. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We got upgraded to a suite and treated like kings. Polite, friendly staff -- definitely recommending it!
The place deserves its 4 stars. Very good location, close to shops, Caldea and historical center. Rooms are spacious and clean (and silent if you take the mountain view), the service precise and polite. Beds are extremely large and comfy, and breakfast is quite divers (one more machine for orange juice would not harm...). Forget about the "pool", it is 40 cm deep. The spa is ok, nothing more, and there are only two elevators...that can easily saturate during rush hours. But I would surely recommend this hotel, it is the best place I stayed in Andorra.
