It's not a good 4 stars but it's reasonable hotel. Not modem nor fancy but honest. The rooms are big, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are renovated and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is a bit poor and dinners after the surprise that it's not buffet, are very tasteful and you quickly forget the loss of the buffet.
Stayed here in January with a group of friends and have to say the hotel is lovely in appearance and the bedroom we had was huge and the views were fantastic. The only downside was the shower was not hot enough even though we had it on full and some points was almost cold. Our room didn't get serviced one day and upon complaining at Reception the Receptionist after making many phone calls said it would be done while we were out.. this didn't happen. When mentioned again she looked gone out and was very unhelpful. Our room was never serviced, though the head housekeeper came and personally apologised to us the next day which was appreciated. We also had a problem with the TV in our room which we reported and they couldn't do anything about but did fix immediately the next day. A couple of times we approached Reception to ask something and we got blanked! She was far more interested in flirting with the guys and even ended up in the lift with them and in their hotel room! Completely unprofessional throughout our entire stay. We dined most evenings in the hotel and the food was not to our taste unfortunately.. The staff on the other hand weren't always understanding. One of our party has a nut allergy and was served nuts THREE times! Me and my friends felt like we were treated differently as we spoke a different native language to others in our party and were served separately as if we were on a completely different table. I would probably stay here again if the staff were more welcoming and understanding.
We asked for a bathtub when we did the reservation, as we were planning to go skiing before checking in and having a hot bath is always nice. Also we chose that expensive hotel because it was supposed to have a nice spa and we enjoy the après-ski very much in winter time. Unfortunately the first surprise was that there were no rooms with bathtubs. Ok, we thought, we'll go to the spa after taking a nap. When we woke up we asked the reception but they told us that the spa was full (they only accept 8 people at a time and you have to book in advance). We had been told we should book in advance but we didn't know the spa was that small and that it closed at 9pm. By the way, unlike other hotels with spa you have to pay a fee to get in, which is ridiculous for the room price. The icing on the cake was that the restaurant only serve dinner if you book it in advance too, otherwise they don't have the flexibility to serve food to those that arrive late or can't get out because of a snowstorm. We had to call a pizza delivery to get something to eat. All in all, a HUGE and TOTAL disappointment for a 1-night stay for which we paid 256 euros!
The hotel is very nice and the location in the mountains was delightful. Our room was large with a beautiful view of the mountain side. The hotel itself was very clean and the food was also very good. I would have rated the hotel higher, if not for the fact that while we were there, some staff appeared to be disinterested. While the front desk staff were pleasant and cheerful, not all staff shared this enthusiasm. Perhaps it was an off day. Still a pleasant hotel stay and in a great location.
Nice hotel with all main services. They are very nice in reception and are available to provide information for trekking or to book external tickets (for example Naturlandia). Huge breakfast, covered parking, external swimming (this could be better). Evening restaurant not really exciting (almost only pasta is not what I expect in Andorra)
We found this hotel via TripAdvisor but drove there and booked a room. After having stayed at a 4 star hotel in Barcelona this hotel is like a 5 star. Very clean, big rooms við bathrooms obviously newly refurbished. The front desk girl and the bartender spoke fluent English which is better than during our whole stay in Barcelona. The front desk girl helped us finding things to do in Andorra along with recomending a restaurant for dinner. The distance to town is short, nice pool and of course nice view. All in all - an excellent experience.
We stayed at this hotel during a family skiing holiday on a half board basis. Nothing could have been better. The staff, both in reception and the restaurant, were warm, welcoming and helpful. (Patricia on reception was extremely helpful and her customer service is outstanding.) The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, very spacious with comfortable super king size beds and beautiful en-suite bathrooms and although the rooms are very hot, this is easily remedied by adjusting the thermostat! Our room (and most, it appeared) had SPECTACULAR views. The restaurant served superb food with a choice to suit all palates. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return next year. I can't fault it. 😊👍🏼
Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Roms were spacious and had a really nice view to the mountins. The sound level at the hotel was high and multiple doors to the room made it impossible to get any sleep. You could hear exactly everything from other rooms and from the korridor. Staff was not rude but not very helpful either. We did not eat in the restaurant but rooms service was a poor experience. The overall experience was not of a hotel with 4 stats in my opinion and i would not recomend it to anyone.
We selected the hotel based on its close location to vallnord pal arsinal. The morning shuttle takes a few minutes to get to the gondola and getting to the downtown shopping is a short sub 10 euro taxi. They also have decent food and partial board options which saves a lot of money. Id recommend and stay here again.
Good hotel closed to the down town. This hotel has two different buildings, the main one with restaurant and other services, and the other one (where is located the spa). I should say that the spa is very small, I do not recommend sharing it with more than four people, try to be alone whether is possible. In general the hotel is warm, comfortable, clean, spacious rooms, staff is attentive and they have a good breakfast, maybe I missed more warm food but it is enough.
