Room was dark, could have used more lighting. Bed was very comfy, overall good experience. Staff was good, check in/check out was an easy process.

Good price and location! The hotel seems old and without maitenance, but is good option.

Hotel is old, they don't tell you that behind you is a train depot, blasting their horns day and night!!! And a main road, noise is pretty bad, if you have to sleep. I will never go back, overpriced,

Nice friendly staff, very comfortable mattress and great pillows. Clean bathroom. Only complaint. Several unsavory characters who had been drinking were lurking about and trying to sneak in the first night. Hotel staff do check common areas regularly but did make me feel abit unsure. No issues second night. Overall comfortable stay

I enjoyed the stay. I wish they had a breakfast. The staff were awesome. There were some shady characters lurking around.

Staff was nice and were informative and friendly. The only bad thing was I had to clean brown stuff off the toilet - I knew what it was but I am trying to be polite. Should not have to clean the toilet myself before using it. Close and within walking distance to the down town area. Kind of a shady area, very close to the train station.

Room extremely clean. Staff was informative and helpful in getting us to the train.

our stay was just what we intended. It was just a place to stay the night before heading to our cruise the next day. Air port pick up was very busy and we had to take a cab paid for by hotel. Cab was kind of sketchy. Hotel was clean and beds good enough to get good sleep. Price was good and fair for the hotel.

stayed there only one night. clean and quite. staff very good.

It was ok for the night in the middle of winter. Way overpriced for a summer stay. Old furniture and appliances.

I was so happy to have some space and it was very comfortable!

There was no way of getting to the restaurant for breakfast without going outside. Our Cosmo bus tour did not include breakfast, which was expensive.

This hotel is staffed by some awesome folks, but my night was seriously affected by some plumbing repairs that shut the water off for most of the night. By the time I arrived, I couldn't take a shower, flush the toilet, or brush my teeth until the next morning. Apparently it's fixed now, but a partial refund would have been a nice gesture.

Overall good. I would stay again because the price is good for what I wanted to do this trip. I was out mostly. I needed a hotel located downtown and close to JBER. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, I am used to staying in 4 and 5 stars hotels. Due to budget and other constraints I stayed here. I had a great experience!

Nice staff. Not so comfy bed. Neighborhood was quiet while we were there.

Came to Alaska for a job interview. While at the hotel, trying to rest, another guest in the hotel hallway was very intoxicated. She would knock on my door or just set in the hallway and scream and cry. When I complained to the front desk, I got the following response "yea, she has been like that all day". I KNEW THAT! I got no apology or assurance that they would take care of it. I will never stay at that hotel again, if I ever return to Anchorage.

Free shuttle to/from airport and train station. The hotel is close to the train station where you can take the Aurora Winter Train and head north to Fairbanks. It's a bit walk to the heart of Anchorage but not so far away. Clean and decent place with a good price to crash after taking a long flight.

This was the 2nd place I have stayed in Anchorage. I liked the first place much better but I had friends staying here this time around. First of all, I think they forgot to vacuum the room. There were crumbs on the floor between the beds. If you are traveling back to the bush or back out after fishing and need a cooler for meats and things, they don't have one (the other hotel did). The staff was friendly but the actual hotel wasn't up to what I thought a Ramada should be. Unless everything else is full, I'll be staying somewhere else.

First day we arrived we got into our room and it had a smell in it. The floor had a spot in it that felt like it was bout to fall through. The bathroom tub had rings in it and it had a hole on the side of it. later that evening we noticed it was getting colder in the room. It was about -2 degrees F outside. The heat quit working. We asked about the heat and they moved us to another room. This room did not smell and was a decent room unitl my 8m old found what looks like to be a Ibuprofen under the bed. Besides that the room was ok. during our 4 night stay the housekeeping only cleaned the room one time and it was because i told them to please clean it. Most of the staff was great but one. Will not be going back.

Very comfortable stay near everything downtown. You can walk to everything. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Timely airport free shuttle. Best rest I've had in a long time. Good food at the restaurant directly next door.
