Normally, I find myself quite generous when it comes to ratings, as I fully appreciate the hard work behind running a business. It’s with a heavy heart that I rate Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites three stars. My anticipation was high when I booked the Deluxe King room for a night’s rest during my travels. Initially, my expectations were met with a warm welcome from a friendly front desk attendant, an excellent location, and a spacious room complete with a jetted bathtub. However, the condition of the bedding was deeply disappointing. The sheets and pillows were stained, had visible hairs, and the yellowish hue suggested they hadn’t been washed in some time. While I can overlook minor imperfections, clean and comfortable bedding is a basic expectation for any accommodation, as it’s essential for a good night’s sleep. I sincerely hope this issue is addressed, as it significantly impacted my stay at an otherwise lovely hotel.
I would stay there again, just be aware your air conditioning will time out and go back to fan as well as your exhaust fan in the bathroom times out and shuts off the light. Overall it was nice and clean the staff was very pleasant.
Very nice room, good quality. The checking in process after hours, about 10pm, was a bit weird but person that helped me was courteous and made sure I was all set. Reasonable rate too
We stayed in the Villa which was very nice. Some older amenities, but not a deal breaker. We did have some issues with the hot water going intermittently cold due to other rooms flushing toilets, the ice machine was in another building, and the drink machine didn't accept cards, but overall we would stay again.
Very clean and modern, the only thing I would change is the linen- the towels were not modern, old and frayed and not soft at all. Otherwise no complaints.
The location was perfect for our departure the next day from Anacortes Marina. Also it was a good price!
Great location, clean hotel with friendly staff. Downside, I stayed in 303 next to the entrance of the building. I could hear everyone coming In and leaving. The walls were paper thin. However, no real issues otherwise.
Staff helpful, room clean and basic. Remote didn’t work and WiFi is sketchy. Room could use a second lamp by bed
This motel was nicer than some of the other motels close by. I would recommend this place.
Was extremely shocked to see such a beautiful room for only $150 bucks. We stayed in the new mt baker suite and it was beautiful. We had a two person jetted jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace. highly recommend and will be going back
Was here unfortunately for a funeral. Quiet location. Nice breakfast.
