This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel and I’ll keep going back. The location is perfect as Leidseplein is literally just around the corner. The staff are always lovely and ensure your every need it met. We did not spend much time in the hotel but when we did it was comfy and clean. I should be back next year!

I stayed for two nights with a group of eight. We were allocated two quad rooms. Upon arrival at approx 10am we were able to check into one of the rooms which meant we dropped our bags and walked straight into Amsterdam. The hotel does offer a room for bags whilst waiting to check in or to leave bags on your last day after checking out. The main areas of the hotel are clean and modern. The bar is quite sweet and there is a garden area to the back. The breakfast buffet was lovely. Our rooms were sufficient but a little dated and could do with a bit of renovation. There is a hairdryer, TV and phone. The safe didn’t work. The beds were comfortable. Could have used more towels and the shower head seemed blocked (limescale?) but it was hot and powerful enough despite this. The staff were lovely and extremely friendly, especially the lovely gentleman who served us drinks on the nights of our weekend. It is about 25 minutes walk to Dam Square but it’s all flat and you walk through lovely streets with lots of shops, bars and cafes so you can always stop on the way. The hotel is approx 10 minutes from the Van Gogh museum in one direction and 10 minutes from The Hard Rock Cafe in the other. Pleasant stay, not a bad location, reasonably priced.

Stayed in this hotel with two other friends....what a lovely hotel!! Would recommend it to friends, family and anyone who'll listen lol. I've stayed in Amsterdam before and found the rooms are very small (can barely swing a cat in them) but this hotel was so different. Very modern and the rooms were spacious with an okay bathroom Would stay in this hotel again. Only a 5/10min tram ride into the centre

Just returned home from a 3 night stay at this hotel with friends. We were given a triple room that had a double bed and a single. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Made everyday by the maid service. We didn’t pay for breakfast in advance however we paid €9.50 at the end of our stay for breakfast each morning. The breakfast is good and has a mixture of hot a cold food. Good price as it is all you can eat and breakfast in Amsterdam is expensive and therefore it is convenient. Although this hotel is a 3 star it is expected that the bathroom is clean. However our bathroom smelt the whole time we stayed at this hotel, smelt like sewerage. Towels were also tiny. Maids really noisy in the morning. Stood right outside our door talking to each other loudly. Inappropriate for the time of morning. You also expect your possessions to be safe however we didn’t feel they were at all. The hotel takes your key off you when you leave the hotel and you pick it up on return. However they never checked who you were and on one occasion I accidentally said the wrong room number and they gave me the key. So obviously not checking anything. The safe wasn’t opened for us at the start of our stay and therefore had to ask them why our safe wasn’t working, to be told it only works if they come and open it for you. I think this should be opened straight away especially with how easily it would be for people to get hold of the key to your room. Telephone in the room also didn’t work so couldn’t ring down when we had concerns or problems. One concern being 2 men walking into our room. The location of this hotel is atleast a 25 min walk to the centre (Dam Square) therefore we had to buy tram passes something we didn’t expect.

The Hotel is in a great location, close to Vondel Park and the Museums. It's easy to find and the staff are friendly. My room (like most Amsterdam Hotel rooms) was small but warm, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom also small but ok. For a budget hotel it was a good price in a good location. The room was clean but could do with a 'deep clean ' including the insect filled ceiling light. My room was on the first floo overlooking the garden. The hotel staff should be more aware that the noise they make in the garden when on breaks etc carries and kept me awake a bit at one point. Also I could smell their smoke. Overall for the money and location a pleasant, warm and comfortable to sleep hotel.

For a budget hotel this is nicely located and easy walking distance to central Amsterdam. Group of 4 friends stayed for 3 nights with two of us sharing a twin room each. The rooms aren't huge but are big enough and if it's just a bed and room you need they are ideal. The en suite bathroom was a bit damp but again how long are you going to be there with the whole of Amsterdam on your doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful and other guest were too, When you arrive don't worry about the noise from traffic as come night time it settles down. We didn't try the continental breakfast €9 pp as we found if you go out and about you are likely to find something for you near by. Drinks in the bar were ok priced, americarno €2.50 and wasn't a bad cup of coffee, plenty of other drinks on offer. A lovely little court yard garden with big umbrellas for WHEN it rains and smoking area for those who do. All in all a great little place centrally located and cheap. Well worth considering

room is clear, no wide byt enough for two persons. bathroom is also clear, goo strenth of water, central heating. nice internal yard. near hotel is tram stop, which lead to the centre, also there is a supermarket, not far is Museum Square with Van Gogh and other museums. we were at that hotel for a week, breakfast price - 10 euros. coffe - 2.5 euros - as well as in the city in general. personal was poline and sympathetic, helped me to make a call to local transfer company wich provide our logistic to airport. in the last evening when we were whaiting transfer time, the chef of hotel prepared a couple of coffes like a compliment. it was very nice. finally, we want to say thanks for the hospitality and quality of the hotel. if we'll deicide to visit Amsterdam again we will stay at this hotel once more.

Brilliant little hotel! There was 4 of us young girls on our first trip away on our own, for the price we payed for the hotel and what we were expecting we were so happy with europa92, easy to check in when we got there early morning, our room was ready which was even better meaning we could head out and enjoy our first day, room clean and perfect size ( was a room for 4 of us so probably one of the bigger rooms) gave us all the information we needed to get around, doors were open 24/7 which is perfect for us going out at night, near the centre of Leidseplein (walking distance or one tram stop away) which also held a great pub crawl!! Helped make a brilliant holiday did this hotel would 1000% recommend for any young travellers who are wanting a hotel to get ready in and sleep in (we spent most days and nights out) right outside a tram stop so easy to get about, lovely staff!! If we ever come to Amsterdam again definitely the place to stay! Thankyouuuu

Only stayed the one night, but clean room, welcoming staff, could leave luggage to look around the city, even though we had already checked out. Clean toilet area. Would stay again. Only down side was that it was 2 single beds pushed together to make a double bed.

First off, the location is pretty good. Close to a lot of bars, restaurants and amenities. The hotel was clean and the staff were nice. no matter who was manning the station. We stayed in a triple room, which had direct access to the courtyard, we found this to be the best part of the hotel as we could relax and access our room via the patio door. The only thing perhaps letting the hotel down, is dependent on where in Amsterdam you plan on spending the majority of your time. For example, it is quite a long way from the train station and Red Light District etc, not to mention a good half hour walk to the major bars and clubs, and the Museums and art galleries. However, if you want good value for money, and don't mind a walk (or taxi, but Amsterdam is very expensive for everything), then I'd certainly recommend the Europa '92. If I had to go to Amsterdam again, I'd have no issue staying here once more.
