Stayed here for 3 nights at beginning of July. Check was quick and efficient and staff were lovely. You get handed a 50% discount voucher for tea and coffee at the bar as there isn't the facilities in the room. The garden is lovely and very calm, we found it nice to just sit down in the garden and relax after a day of exploring. Hotel is in a great location! Walked everywhere from the hotel and is definitely reasonable distance to everything. However if you struggle to walk for periods of time then the tram is outside the hotel which is great for getting back to central and then the aiport. Rooms were a decent size, all it's needed for is sleep as we were out all day so was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
Amazing staff and location, Tram stops outside. Staff helpful and friendly, Lovely atmosphere, Comfortable beds, Big rooms. Very clean. Outside is beautiful, Lovely rooms, Child friendly. Lovely food,
We stayed for three nights in this hotel, in room 407. This is one of the attic rooms, which was quite small and cramped for two people and two suitcases. It also is quite noisy when the window is open as it faces the street. However, room was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and there is a nice courtyard area attached to the hotel. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, although you could purchase downstairs at the bar. A hairdryer was included, and there is a safe in the room. The lift was not working during our stay, but we received assistance in carrying our bags up the flights of stairs to our room. The location is excellent, with a tram across the road and a convenience store nearby. Walking distance to the city. The breakfast was adequate - continental style. Overall, a good hotel, I would recommend avoiding the attic rooms (406 and 407) as these are (in my opinion) too small to be double rooms.
We stayed a couple of nights in a double room before joining a cruise out of Amsterdam. The manager is helpful, the staff are friendly and the location is very convenient - especially for walkers. The rooms are clean and linen changed daily. Our room rate charge was over double Europa advertisements and advertisements for similar rooms. Our initial Eurpoa room was a 2 star room, converted from a single room at some stage with the addition of a double bed. Our 2 cases wouldn't fit in the wardrobe or on the travel stand. The room description ran a poor second to the room advertised on the Eurpoa website. The manager was able to quickly move us to a much larger double room where our luggage fit and we had a useable desk. This is probaly a 3 star room (see pictures). At the time, room rates across Amsterdam were generally "high" which seemed to be a period of high demand (cruise ship departures ?).The room rate was still a surprise for the size and quality of the room however we now understand Eurpoa's rooms had been block onsold to a third party booking agency in Spain until mid 2018 and price was set by them. The lift is still not operating. Lesson learned - be wary of arrivals in peak times as pricing will definitely peak and you will likely pay more than the room warrants.
We stayed here for my friends hen do! The hotel is in a great location! It's near lots of bars, cafe, restaurant and bike shops! It had a beautiful courtyard at the rear which is peaceful and tranquil day or night. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing which did let it down was the bathroom smell from the drains. Apart from that everything was great. We will defiantly be staying again.
The stay here was great, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel very welcome. It was close enough to walk into the town and there were lots of places nearby to visit as well. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Local supermarket across the road and a nice garden. I would stay here again. Mel
lovely hotel just outside the main town but walking distance to everything. clean and tidy. staff very friendly and even provided us with a fan for the room which was great in the heat. Good price defo recommend
Stopped over for two nights at this hotel with my sister. Hotel staff are lovely and will help with any problems you may have. Location is great for museums, fun in the park and the square. right outside the tram stop that takes you into central Amsterdam. We was in one of the attic rooms that overlooked another attic room, which had noisy guests in that would keep you up all hours through the early morning, hanging out the window singing and crying like baby boys. Not the hotels fault and I'm sure they would have moved us if we experienced it for the second night but lucky the idiots had left or found a women. The attic room was quite small, but we didn't mind as you only need it to get your head down, it was clean that's all that matter. Our favourite part of the hotel was the garden which was lovely plenty of seating area with blankets to use if its cold. Also on the last day a lovely member of staff made us a strong big coffee, although this did not sober us up🤣. Free safe in room which is a bonus (see picture to see what we stored in our😂). Taxi back to airport can also be arranged by the hotel staff approx 40euros. Overall a very good hotel, would stop again if visiting, Staff are lovely and will help you with any problems, great price and location.
Just come back from a lovely hen weekend. Welcomed by a lovely lady which was sadly her last day at the hotel. She couldn't do enough for us. The rooms was VERY spacious and clean. Beds was comfy. They only thing I would recommend is an information book in the room with maps. I'm aware these are at reception but of u like me I don't look through leaflets. However we all left saying we would defiantly stop here if we came to Amsterdam again. And we all would defiantly recommend this to people.
The staff at the hotel are excellent! Each staff member that we met was polite and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are basic, we stayed in room 110 which is right next to the beer garden, sometimes you have people enjoying there holiday out there but to stop some of the noise we just closed the window and slept very well after that. The beds are very comfortable and the cleaner came in everyday and did a very good job of keeping the room tidy. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but you can purchase tea/coffee from the bar in the lobby. The rooms seem like they could do with a paint and maybe brightening up a little bit. The hotel is within walking distance of vondel park which is a great place to just chill out. Overall i would recommend this hotel and i would definitely stay here again on a future trip to amsterdam.
