Good location and very quit. Very large rooms great staff that willing to help whenever us needed.

enjoyed our stay and location was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. we were within walking/biking distance to many tourist attractions. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Location is great however they placed us on the 3rd floor where they were renovating and we kept getting woken up extremely early half of our stay since it was already payed for and everything was booked we werent able to move.

The room was tiny, and the shower is terribly designed -- you get water all over the sink and floor when you try to shower. Still, it was a good location and a decent price, so probably a good deal. Just not the greatest.

After spending 3 weeks in Europe, it comes down to this as being the worst hotel experience. Besides standing water in the shower, rooms so small that they will not accommodate a bed AND an open suitcase, holes in the walls, ceramic tiles falling off the walls AND a continuous attempt to extort additional deposits, several staff members were rude, demanding and obnoxious. I'd strongly suggest all online booking sites bar their customers the horror of staying at this place.

This place gave me a closet sized room with a rock hard bed. I couldn't even open up my suitcase the room was so small. Room smelled like smoke. Internet was extremely slow. Liquid soap dispenser for showering like you're in a prison.

Indifferent stay Bathroom sink stayed broken for 5 days

everything was great the hotel was modern and clean. the location was amazing. i wish the room was bigger but all hotel rooms are pretty small in amsterdam

Everything about this hotel was great except that the breakfast was not included and the bathroom had a bad layout and fixtures. Location is excellent- trams 4,9 stop right in front and it's literally a couple of steps away from excellent restaurants. Dutch, asian, medditeranean, american, italian...name the cuisine and it's literally steps away from the hotel. So are all major attractions. Staff at the reception were friendly but the lady at the conceirge wasn't particularly helpful. The bathroom had a very weird layout and extremely uncomfortable. The showerhead was in the middle of the bathtub and there was no shower curtain. There was a glass partition between the wc and the bathtub on one side, that also had the drain. So basically if you don't want to get the entire bathroom wet while showering, u stand on the drain which clogs the bathtub. It was a very narrow area. The sink also had a broken tap. Apart from the bathroom, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. We'd sightsee the whole day and carry out food from nearby restaurants every night for dinner. The hotel staff were nice to provide us utensils from their onsite bar and restaurant. it was a pleasant vacation!

got an upgrade to canal view room.a little noisy but worth every penny!

It was central to Amsterdam, so I could walk everywhere--museums, restaurants, shopping. The cons were that the room was much smaller than any of the pictures indicated, my room had no view whatsoever, and the breakfast was not included even though the listing stated that it was. The staff was helpful and the room was super clean and modern.

The location is great. You can walk out one door, take a canal boat tour or take door in front of hotel and ride the tram. Hotel offers bike rentals. The staff were most hospitable and helpful. We went to museums and the highlight for us was to visit the tulip gardens. Weather was perfect for the 4 days we were there.

location location location, you walk outside the hotel and you are in the middle of everything. amazing

Anywhere near downtown Amsterdam is exciting and Eden Amsterdam earns 4 C's: charming, clean, comfortable, and convenient.

I often visit Amsterdam and try to choose a different place to stay in every visit. This was the second great hotel experience for me. It's located just 2 minutes of walk from Rembrandt Square in which you can find the best nightclubs in Amsterdam like Escape and Air. The hotel and our room was perfectly clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. We did not eat breakfast or dinner so, I cannot tell anything about it I'd recommend this hotel for sure.

Even though the location is great, the actual room felt like I was stepping back into the 1970s. The bed was not comfortable, the carpet was gross, the furnishings were old, and there was black mold in the shower.

Perfect location... Very central and walking distance to most spots of interest for any traveler. Hotel needs a full remodel; feels a bit rundown and tired. Room was about average size to hotels from the area but a paint job, carpet change would improve the overall quality big time. Bathroom was a bit updated and nice but the Shower was uncomfortable to use since the tub was so narrow. Asked for a double bed and got two single beds next to each other which was a hassle since they were not joined at all and would move easily. Not ideal AT ALL for couples (forget about cuddling). If I stay here again would be if it's absolutely the cheapest place of the area by a lot or If a full remodel had taken place.

This hotel is right in the centruum of Amsterdam, you got Rembrandt square at the back, Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum museums with the famous "I amsterdam" sign a short 1.2 miles (20 minutes walk) away and the Amsterdam Centraal (20 minutes walk), there you can literally move to everywhere we went to the beautiful Zaanse Schans a short 45 min bus ride and Zaandvoort beautiful beach a mere 25 train ride and Brussels, Belgium 1.5 hours at 50 euro p.p round trip, a steal!. The hotel is right in front of a canal so you get the Amsterdam experience right away; you should definitely rent a bike, you can be anywhere in Amsterdam riding a bike, is very safe, cheap, become an Amsterdameer. Hotel is very pleasant, room was small but does the job and is nicely decorated; the shower head is weirdly located and could use a paint job outside the rooms halls, but nothing too major. T.V. absolutely sucks, only BBC channel in english and the rest not very entertaining, but you don't come to this beautiful city to watch t.v. do you?. The concierges are of very much help, ask them anything and they'll go out of their way to assist. BTW, everyone speaks english, it is a vibrating city, very young, very safe, very easy to move in/out of, but it is a little more expensive than average Europe, but not much. Come to this city, you'd be so glad you did.

I was traveling for business and had a one day layover in Amsterdam. Having been to the city before, I usually stay in the Jordaan area, but there was very limited availability. Rembrandt Square is very lively at night and definitely a convenient location to stay - 4th stop on the either tram 4 or 9 from the central station. It is also within walking distance to Vondelpark and Leidseplein Square. I loved the room! Yes, it is small (maybe 7 feet in width), but I found it to be comfortable and cozy. Granted, I was traveling on my own, and I can see how having more than two people (even two people might be a bit uncomfortable) would make this a difficult place to stay. The shower is modern and clean.

Great location. Central to all the sights. Clean 4-star quality hotel. Great staff and service.
