We arrived early before noon and was given a room right the way. Breakfast was good and room was clean. Room is small as expected, good wifi.

This was a typical European room, very small but just enough. There was a false fire alarm that went off early in the morning and staff didn't come door to door which surprised me, at least to have someone on each floor would have been nice. It took quite a while for them to turn off the alarm and it wasn't mentioned again. The room itself was very clean and staff were nice and location was great!

It's a great location.. Close to everything . Rooms are small besides that everything was great

This is a fine hotel great location to the museums super friendly staff. Clean.

Great location. Beds were so so, lumpy and thin. No washcloth, no shampoo or soap, only wall mounted pump dispensers of hair and body wash. Dispenser dismounted each time used. 3 of of 4 lights in bathroom burned out, told them 2 x about it. coffee and cups in room were never replaced after day 1 even after mentioning it to housekeeping every day. The breakfast was very good, although it is 12 euro extra (10 euro if you tell them the night before). The tv service was out for a day( couldn't watch news in the morning). The phone was unable to call room to room, ever. sometimes even the front desk did not answer their phone so we had to go upstairs to the other room to wake/ remind them of breakfast. The staff was cordial and as helpful as they wanted to be. But a GREAT location.

Everything is ok except staff was very bad Unhelpful. Not friendly. Aggressive

Best stay ever! Great Trip. Clean hotel and Friendly staff.

This hotel was well located, a decent price (we had to book same-day as another plan had fallen through, and the rate was still good), and the room was nice. Ours was a little noisy as first-floor rooms are slightly below-grade (as in the sidewalk is about halfway up the wall), so as groups went by at night it was a tad noisy. Still, right by the museum and so many sights, I'd consider staying here again.

2 blocks from ledseplein... Very.good location and reibility

The hotel was walking distance from everything. Was perfect 5 minute walk to te center of Amsterdam. Would def stay here again. Room was large and beaitiful bathroom

The lobby and location are great. However the rooms are tiny and I mean tiny.

I found this hotel to be very economic. It's not a very large living quarter but it's clean, cozy and convenient to the muesuem district as well Liedseplein. Tram stops are all around and food choices are close by. The hotel breakfast is decent, typical continental. Free WiFi, staff is helpful. Minus the small living space this hotel gets my approval.

This hotel is in the museum district and very close to the canal belt and everything is within walking distance. The room was very small, but it was clean and quiet.

Good costumer service very friendly and good location.

This was my first trip to Amsterdam and I wasn't really sure where to stay. The hotel was right next to the musuems so that I could walk there. Tram stop close by to get me to the other parts of town. Hotel was clean & the staff friendly. Several good places to eat within walking distance. Would recommend the hotel to any friends heading that way.

The customer service was great - the receptionist remembered our name and knew that we were checking out before we said anything on our last day. Perfect location for our stay - within 5 min walking distance to Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Concertgebouw. We didn't explore much, but there was a high-end shopping district near by as well. We stayed in a classic double room - the bed filled up the room and we barely had any space to spread out our four luggages. The hand soap ran out but not replenished.

The internet was poor and unusable in my room (and therefore I assume all rooms) and caused me undue stress. It was fine in the lobby but if you need a reliable internet connection in the rooms, don't choose this place. Otherwise everything was great. Really nice atmosphere. Good food but expensive. Nice area.

Location was great, tram was a 2 minute walk from hotel. Rijks Museum was across the street. However we had a standard double room and it was intolerably small. I have traveled extensively and this was THE smallest double room I have ever seen. After one night we had to switch to upgrade to a deluxe room, which was much better. The staff was helpful. Also there is no kitchen or food service - only breakfast.

We have ordered it through Internet and paid as well. Stay was not too bad, but after checkout, when I paid all extra charges (like buffet etc, which was fine), I found out they charged me again for staying - full price for 2 rooms. I have contacted hotel a few times, every time the stuff promised to fix this error. After 2 months of waiting I had to fight these double payments through my credit card company, which was frustrating

The hotel has a great location, the slow internet and from 7pm when all are connected the signal comes and goes, breakfast is the worst thing that has paid 13 euros for eating eggs, bread, ham, cereal and drinks, I can compare because I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year.
