So easy to access right off I-35. The front desk and restaurant/lounge staff were great people!

Great value. Beds were very comfortable. Room was nice but smelled a little musty. Everything we needed for a lovely visit with our son.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and easy to deal with.

I stayed at this hotel with two of my daughter's. It was mom's weekend for my oldest daughter's sorority and we really only needed a place to sleep. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. There was a slight odor when we first entered the room but you quickly didn't notice it. I felt the price was a little high for this hotel but everything else was sold out as it was a busy weekend in Ames.

Very clean and very accommodating staff. Our trip got extended by a day and the hotel matched our previous days rate. Would stay again!

This room was supposed to be non smoking but clearly had been a smoking room in the past. The smell was still in the air conditioner. The pool was closed until further notice, which was disappointing since this was a major reason for booking with this hotel. I would not book this hotel again, nor recommend it to others.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the swimming pool was a big disappointment. It is only three feet at the deep end, and the water was very warm. My grandchildren had just spent the day at the Iowa State Fair and were looking forward to cooling off in the pool. Instead, they complained it was like taking a hot bath.

we went to altoona to bass pro shops, nice place, couldn't go swimming due to large number of people. went to dinner and got back around 9:30 and had to park in the back 40. the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. not stone hard like some places we have stayed. i loved the office chair by the desk, could you possibly let me know where they get these. it was awesome. there was no soap in the bathroom and we had to ask for that. no problem. we forgot toothpaste and they provided us with that, so nice. the breakfast was awesome. would probably stay there again.

Quality Inn in Ames was an excellent experience with great staff. Can't wait to go back to visit my son at ISU and stay here again!

Although the facility was under construction, we had a pleasant and quiet stay. The breakfast choices were an excellent way to begin our day, check in and check out was efficient, the pool well maintained.

The Quality Inn and Suites, Starlite Village Conference Center, Ames IA was very clean and comfortable and had a good continental breakfast. They were in the process of remodeling, but kept the inconvenience to their guests to a minimum. I thought that it was an excellent value for the price and the location was good as well.

The Quality Inn & Suites Starlite Village Conference Center, AMES, IA was a nice place with good proximity to the highway and to Iowa State University. It is in the process of remodeling, but it has a very nice restaurant.
