Not much to say. Clean and good location. Decent breakfast.

The front desk was efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bulb had blown out in the bathroom and it was replace within five minutes of my husband telling them. We couldn't get the water temperature to regulate in the shower...whether in the evening or morning. It had to run quite a while to heat up and then it was too hot or too cold. But that could have been from several guests using the water at the same time. The mattress was a little hard for my taste, but that's not a deal breaker. Although they allow pets, we never heard them and could not smell them. That sounds odd, but we have allergies and it was never a problem for us. The continental breakfast had plenty of variety and was kept extremely clean. I was very impressed that with guests constantly coming and going they were on top of keeping the food stocked and counter and tables clean.

I booked this hotel because it is indeed in a great location. Close to the mall, restaurants and banks. Downtown venues are only 11 minutes away. Breakfast is great and the staff friendly. The only downside to this location is the fact that the parking lot is too small for the various sizes of customer vehicles that park there.

OK but needs more light in the room, and carpet needs replacement

When we arrived, we were checked in quickly by very courteous desk staff and got right up to our room for a great nights sleep. When I took a shower the diverter that sends the water from filling the tub to the shower head did not work well and the shower head was in need of some TLC. I reported it at the front desk in the am and about a minute later the maintenance man was knocking on the door to check it out. He installed a new diverter and showerhead 5 minutes later. I asked where I could get some good drinking water and the Gentleman at the front desk got me a cold bottle of drinking water. Later that night I needed two bottles, one for drinking and one for my CPAP machine. He allowed me to fill my empty water bottles from the machine in the breakfast area instead of making me walk back to the Gym to fill them from the water cooler because he took the time to listen when I told the who checked us in that I have Parkinsons and I have limitations on my mobility. Anything I asked about at the front desk, if the staff didn't know the precise answer, they immediately found out on the internet. The breakfast was very nice and they had a wide variety of items. I am on a no carb diet to reduce my symptoms of Parkinsons.and they had items for me also. Every member of the staff was genuinely courteous and saw to it that we were pleased. We will not only stay here every time we are in Amarillo, we will recommend that our subcontractors stay there too. For a few dollars more then an average place, you can stay here.

Clean quiet room ,close to very good restaurants. Easy access from I-40.

This was a stopover on the way from AZ to MO, and we wanted to dine at the Big Texan just to say we did. The hotel is a bit hard to find, being so close to the offramp, but once we got oriented it was easy to access. The room was very comfortable and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the jacuzzi worked perfectly. It was more than I wanted to pay, but this is a place I would still recommend. By the way, the Big Texan was excellent, too!

My father fell and broke is hip and had to be hospitalized. The atmosphere at Country Inn and Suites was relaxing and the staff exceeded our every need. Breakfast meet our needs (even the need for a gluten-free diet). I would recommend this motel to everyone.

While driving to Colorado we decided to stay overnight in Amarillo. Had an Orbucks discount so I booked a suite. The room was nice not quite what I had expected. Was supposed to have had the suite with the sunken jet tub, but got a regular bathroom instead so was very disappointed. Room temp was very warm and took a long time to cool down which it never really did. Bedding was way too heavy considering it is Texas after all and who needs that much blanket. Towels were terrible - very thin and scratchy. If you are staying in a suite you would think the towels would be big and luxurious. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. I would stay there again, but wouldn't expect as much.

The road in and out makes access difficult. Staff were rather unfriendly... Or rather not welcoming. Pool & hot tub are awesome! Clean room.. Pillows were hard.

Location: Great, right off main highway and in quiet part of town. Rooms: Clean, beds comfortable, microwave, small refrigerator. Building: feels like older, slightly elegant hotel with nice stairway and elevators. Breakfast: Good. waffle maker. Coffee always available, even in evening. Amenities: Great indoor swimming pool, nice convenient parking. Price: very reasonable, especially with the discount. Overall: A very good deal and experience. Would definitely use again.

This was a nice hotel that was close to the highway but seemed to be in a quiet and safe area. The room was very clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The kids loved the large hot tub and swimming pool. Would definitely stay here again.

good hotel but staff was not very friendly. Very ordinary staff

it was a very comfotable and relaxing time in the room after a long day of travel. ac was cool, the bed just right. non-feather pillow in closet was handy. bathroom neat and clean. great choices at breakfast. best overnight stay we've had in amarillo.

Good place for pets.

It was very clean. Enjoyed the stay. Bathrooms just a little small.

Pool and Spa was great. Worth what we paid. Free internet. Beds and pillows weren't very comfortable, but we managed. Convenient to everything we needed. Lots of places to eat close by. Close tot he area mall for shopping.

Very clean rooms. Very personable staff. Highly recommended place to stay.

Nice, clean hotel. Personable staff. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and comfortable. Room was large and clean, although bathroom was quite small. Breakfast was very good, a nice variety. Internet is free and fast. Overall, a solid 4 stars.

Nice clean room, however the floors shared smoking and non smoking rooms. As a non smoker, I was bothered by the odor every time I stepped into the hallway. The good was the acceptance of pets for a low rate.
