Very nice facilities.
Unfortunately, this hotel is under renovation. I think when the renovation is done, it will be very nice and be exceptional. However, there was no notice whatsoever that we would be coming to a hotel in the middle of construction. The entire place smelled like paint and fumes and chemicals, there were boards up everywhere we had to walk around, the elevators only one worked, and there were lines of people going up and down. It would have been nice to have some sort of notification that there was work in progress, however, there was none, and we found this out after we drove all day to the hotel, and checked in. As I said, when they finish the renovations, everything will look amazing. In the meantime, it seems fair that guest should know that there is construction before they just show up and find out that the hotel is an active construction site.
Haven't stayed in an ES for a few years. This one has major construction going on. Rooms are very old and dated. May be nice again after the renovations but not recommended right now.
There was a lot of construction, so the noise starts before 9 and goes until after 6. I usually don't complain about noise, but jackhammers are very noisy. I had to clean the room. I am sure they cleaned it somewhat (some of dirt was there for a while in the refrigerator, microwave and draws). Surface dust I am sure was from the construction. We also had a great view of the construction garbage. I was under the impression that it was sit down breakfast served to you. It is a buffet (much like Holiday Inn) with a omelet station. You take your tray (school like) through the buffet and then go to another room to sit down and eat. It is nothing like the picture that they show you on line. The pool is small. They really had to get the angels right to get the pictures on line. However, it was warm. The park doesn't allow anything with wheels. I didn't get this from what I read on line either.
This hotel didn’t meet our expectations for an embassy. Everything was just a little rundown and old (loose fixtures, very old pull out sofa mattress with springs popping out, room was musty). Staff was friendly and helpful but just felt a tier below what we usually get from an embassy.
Our family lives in the area; we stay here each year for Thanksgiving! It's our favorite Holiday Stay!!
This was the worst hotel experience I have had while using Orbitz hotel was extremely dirty rooms where very dirty. I spoke to management and they told me to contact Orbitz for a refund.
We didn't know it is making renovations and the pool was closed
Area on the side where I had to park was not well lit.
The breakfast was awesome and good
Very dated and loud. guest were aloud to scream, and be rowdy in main foyer. screaming of obscenities' were bountiful by several baseball members that were visiting. It was over the top and continued for numerous days of our stay there. Main lobby is very beautiful, however the rooms needed to be updated with newer furniture, and carpeting.
Great place to stay
Excellence
Location was a nice part of town with plenty of convenient service related businesses to support a long weekend in Orlando.
Crane’s roost park is invaluable to a stay in this facility as is the indoor pool. Our room was clean and comfortable, but bathroom was very dated, had a sliding door with at least a 1/2 inch opening, that if you stood up in the bedroom you got a clear view to the toilet which caused privacy issues. Handle was falling out of the slider to the other room. Otherwise, just fine.
