A lovely hotel in walking distance of the train station and many restaurants. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This was wonderful place to call "home" while we explored the area.

My stay was disappointing because it is a shabby old hotel past its prime time ages ago. Certainly not a five star hotel. Three star at the most.

Great location; located within a 10 minute walk to the train. Arrived at 9am and we were able to check into the hotel early. Hotel provided us a map of the city, staff is super friendly and very helpful; staff was able to make tourist recommendations on places to visit, as well as make tickets to Zugspitze. Hotel reminds you of an old hunting / ski lodge. Throughout the common areas (lobby, restaurant, and hallways) there is old furniture as well as various types of antlers. Hotel room is modern and with up to date furnishings. Breakfast is included with the cost of the room, and is a buffet that taste amazing. Dinner at the onsite restaurant is great as well. Room contains a European double bed (2 beds pushed together.) Free wifi worked great while in the room as well as the restaurant.

I loved this place. Every single person who works there was extremely friendly to us touristy Americans. The restaurant is a great french place and very reasonably priced for what can be called gourmet food. Continental breakfast was decent and the waiters were awesome. They have a very easy to access garage, cheap (free?) wifi and our room was the nice and large. It's a short walk to the tiny center of town consisting of a hilarious mexican restaurant full of teens hanging out, pop music playing and surprisingly good nachos. A short 15 min drive takes you to zugspitze, which is a must see for real. Last great thing is that you can get some Iron Maiden inspired beer due to the fact that a few members of the band are friends with the chef and stay there from time to time. It's actually quite good beer :) Overall 5 stars. I would definitely stay there again.

We had such a wonderful time. This hotel is in a perfect location. We travelled by train and had no problems getting around. Perfect walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a beautiful trail to run/walk while being surrounded by gorgeous mountains. The staff was awesome! Christian, the manager, was so helpful to us in answering all our questions and giving us advice on the best way to get around. Very kind and friendly people. We definitely recommend this place!
