Friendly people, big rooms, warms up quickly, clean, just wish TV was up higher than bed

We had a great stay at the hotel. My husband and I used the pool and hot tub. We would stay here again if we are ever in Alpena.

I can not say anything bad about our stay at this motel. Fantastic room for the money. Breakfast was super, room was very clean and large. I hope to stay here again when in the area.

Great place to stay I would stay again for sure. I was there for a fishing trip and needed a place to charge my boat and they have electric outlets outside to hook your boat up and charge

Nothing special, but easy and convenient. Easy drice to downtown.

We arrived to check into our room for a 2 night stay to find the front desk manned by a girl with a very bland personality and 2 very large smelly dogs that were allowed to jump up on the front desk and greet customers. I love dogs and have 2 of my own but there is definitely a time and place for animals, and this is not it. She proceeded to remind me that this was not a pet friendly room. Really??? Anyway, after checking in and finding the room basically clean but very, very outdated we attempted a stay. After a short nap on the 20 year old mattress with a window air conditioner unit that was not able to cool the room we decided to cut our trip short and cancelled the second night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price you would expect a little more.

Good but smokers in nearby nonsmoking rooms. Management apologized and gave air freshener.

First off let me say that I accidentally booked 2 rooms for the wrong date. The staff of the hotel and the site I used to book my room worked with me to get my initial rooms refunded when they didn't have to. However, I was charged over $150 for a "3 person kitchenette" room. There was 1 bed in the room, and it was a Queen at best. They will not provide roll out beds. They brought me a blanket for the floor, but would not give us another pillow. They "kitchenette" was a combo fridge/sink/2 burner stove that my 1 year old would have been able to turn on if we didn't stop him. The freezer was unusable because it hadn't been thawed since Reagan was president. The "AC" was a unit in the window that was older than I am, and I'm 40. The TV was almost as old, and sat in a hollowed out corner of a wall. Not even a TV stand. Outside the door was an immediate 6" drop to the ground that my little boy fell down and hurt himself. Other than the refund the girls at the desk allowed, I have absolutely nothing good to say about my stay.

Staff very helpful with directions to different locations.

We always enjoy staying at the Days Inn in Alpena, Michigan. The breakfast bar is a nice free perk at this hotel. There is a nice pool which is kept warm and clean.

As former Alpena natives, we visit often. We always stay at the Days Inn because they have everything we need and even a wonderful breakfast. The pool is great and the shopping is nearby.

We visited Alpena to see an elderly family member in a nursing home. This hotel is very comfortable for our needs. It has a lovely breakfast nook which is cared for by pleasant staff members. The pool is clean and refreshing for a quick swim.

We have to be in Alpena often because of elderly family members. It is good to know that Days Inn is always ready for us with clean room and a nice breakfast to start the day.

We go often to this area to visit a family member in a health facility. We find that we are treated very well at this hotel and stay here almost every time we come to this area. We know we will be in a clean environment with a nice breakfast in the main dining area. We like the coffee pot in the room and the nice pool with extra towels available.

hotel is very clean and well cared for. breakfast is pretty good-waffles, fruit, pastries etc. would stay again if in town

Young lady at check in does not know how to speak to customers, told me I could not have a receipt because my stay was prepaid. I finally gave up on a receipt and asked for a wake up call for 6am which never came, luckily I was already awake. When I called the front desk at 6:30 the clerk told me "Sir, the wake up call was made, you must have slept through it"! Obviously I won't be staying here on my monthly Alpena trips over the next six months.

This Days Inn was extremely clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to an Applebee's and not very far from downtown Alpena.

We had a good experience at Days Inn, Alpenia, MI. The staff was very helpful in providing directions to points of interest. The WI-FI worked well, which was not the case at other hotels. The NOAA maritime museum was very interesting. Did not go on the glasss bottom boat viewing shipwrecks.

The hotel was clean and the room was larger than most.

Thank your for your feedback, as we use this to make the best improvements for our guest. We take pride in our friendly staff that offer nothing but the best rooms that are spacious and clean. We are currently installing risers for the TV so they can be seen from the bed. Thank you for choosing us as your Hotel of Choice
