This hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet setting. Great views from the balcony. Plenty of secure underground parking. I would say it is within walking distance of downtown Fussen-if you don't mind a short steep climb on the way back. Plenty of places to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Rooms were clean and the staff was great.
It has the service, the ambience, and the luxury of a 3 star hotel but prices of a 4 star! The room was clean but very loud! you could hear almost everything from the room next to us and the room above us.Walking distance to the center and satisfaying breakfast. The breakfast area is realy nice next to the river.
We stayed 1 night at the Europark Hotel and had a good overall experience. We were able to check in at 4am in the morning which was a great service since Fussen isn't exactly a metropolitan. Special thanks to the night porter Ali who made us feel very welcome and managed a very smooth arrival. Unfortunately the rooms weren't that clean and pretty simple.
This hotel is located in what seemed to be a residential area surrounded by houses, narrow steep streets and a small lake on one side of it. I honestly wouldn't have expected a hotel to be located here. You entered a very narrow street with steep hills on either side to wind your way in to where the hotel was situated. The check in desk was to the left of the entry. The dining area was a little further in. Around the corner and down the hallway there was a bar where you could lounge leisurely. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, functional and included a few knobs that didn't do anything I could tell. Apparently, the walls are quite thin as my next door neighbor could clearly hear me snoring loudly. There were three choices for dinner. There was fish, pork knuckle and vegetarian. I ordered the pork knuckle. It wasn't so enjoyable as it seemed tough and difficult for me to eat. There also was a couple pots of white rice with another pot containing kind of a gravy, stewlike concoction. You got yourself a bowl of rice and topped it with the gravy. It was actually quite good. After dinner we congregated in the bar which was down the hall to the left. There was draft beer, wine and alcohol beverages. It was a cozy room. The breakfast in the morning was also good with a nice selection of breakfast items. There was a 5 euro charge for the wifi. Each room has it's own password. The wifi worked but was quite slow. The hotel is also dog friendly.
I arrived in a group of people on December 31, 2016. Unfortunately, we had to stay at this poor hotel as we have to transit here before our next stop. We are a group of 34 people and it took sometimes for us to unload all of the luggages to the hotel. But the big man in front of the hotel pushing the people and the luggages harshly. The hotel lobby is very small and we indeed needed some spaces to arrange all of the luggages. After our tour leader received the room keys, everyone checked in to the room and had to come back for end-year dinner in the hotel restaurant. But, the staffs gave 2 rooms in different building without any prior notice which made some of us had to bring all of the luggages WITH STAIRS. We understood that we had this restaurant appointment at 8 PM and we were late for the dinner due to this issue. Some of us were sitting in the hotel lobby while waiting for the problem to be solved, BUT, the woman with bang said to us rudely to come into the restaurant. We responded her by saying that we have to wait for the remaining people. She replied: "If you guys could not be on time for your dinner appointment, then don't make any appointment at all." She was very rude and impolite. All of us were very offended and mad. I dont remember her name but we were there on December 31, 2016 on 8PM and she has bangs on her hair. Very very bad service from the hotel. Definitely will not come back. In the room, as you can see in the pictures, the hotel is really old, not clean and disgusting. Try to stay at other hotel if you plan to visit Fussen, not recommended at all!
Stayed overnight in Fussen at the Europarkhotel International. The hotel is located up a small slope so you need to walk a bit from the town to the hotel and yes, its a bit dark at night but nothing dangerous! We had a room with balcony and facing the river. Lovely room but a bit small and no water kettle to boil water. Bathroom is small but clean and lots of hot water. When we were there, someone was playing the flute and trumpet in their rooms and we could hear them clearly. Walls a bit thin but when we called the front desk, they solved the noise problem quickly!
Had a short 1 night stay at this hotel. Overall it is quite deep inside the wood, about 1km away from fussen town. So it may be a bit cold at night to walk. Also the road leading to this hotel can be a bit too dark. The hotel is also next to the river, making it a good place to enjoy the river view and walk. The hotel is a bit worn and aged. My room has an old CRT TV (old boxed TV). Breakfast is average, nothing fanciful.
We ended up at this hotel because we did not have reservations anywhere and arrived in Fussen in darkness , tired and hungry . It wasn't cheap ... We stayed at the Europark Hotel only 1 night on the way to Neuschwanstein Castle ( 10 min drive away). The hotel is slightly basic. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, a good WiFi connection . We used the underground car park, which was very accessible ( but 5 euro/24hrs) . The room was clean and comfortable but ...not 4 stars !!! (only shampoo in the bathroom , no slippers , no bathrobe , no conditioner , no hairmask ...) We had a balcony too . The breakfast was good but basic .
nice place with large spaces, bedroom, entrance, living room. access to internet in the entrance was a nice feature too. staff was pleasant and helpful. i don't notice any problem here. balcony are also large and nicely decorated.
I stayed in this hotel for two nights. It is located on bank of river Lech. Amid beautiful nature. The location is quite and atmospehre around is soothing. The rooms are nice and clean. They are bigger. My room facing Lech river was giving beautiful view from balcony. Breakfast is good with good variety of food and fruits. I would recomment to spend one night at this hotel if you happen to visit Fussen.
