They didn’t have a king bed room available, so gave us two full beds. First room they gave us was dirty. Toilet not flushed, garbage can full….
Just needed a place to stay overnight to get to Alfred State College the next morning. It was more than fine for that.
Quiet, but people smoking in the non smoking room across the hall
Convenent, close to highway and stores
They didn't do their job when i was going to check in ,the room was paid thru orbitz , the lady said she needed my card information and charged me again ,then she said its only paid thru then ,i still have to fix that problem
TV didn’t work, smell in the room. Coffee is a poor quality
The room smell bad and the toilet was dirty. The lady in charge was very unavailable.
Staff not friendly, meloncholy greetings, unavailable. Toilet was broken, i informed them, it wasnt fixed
There were crumbs on one of the beds. Little hairs from a trimmer in the bathroom. Front door isn’t straight so you have to shoulder it closed. Tv reception is bad and only antenna. Room has a bad smell!! Old blood stains on bed cover and dust ruffle wasn’t really on bed
More or less what you would expect of a Days Inn. Convenient location off highway exit. Furniture in the room was very dirty. Elected not to sit in the armchair. Small room, no closet. Interior was old and tired. Breakfast was not good. One hot food option and not much else. We had coffee and went out to eat breakfast. One plus was it was pet friendly with a modest pet fee.
Good value for money, clean ,close to town and stores
Conveinant place to stay. Enjoyed the close by hunting, Walmart & Wegman's.
The bathroom was filthy. The bed was really uncomfortable, especially for a king-size. The staff was nice enough, but I had to wait on them twice to come inside to check in and out.
Room was not well vacuumed, found cereal on floor, sink faucet just trickled, no water pressure in shower, children running back and forth upstairs, Outside hotel painted "mustard & green" dreadful experience.
We went to Canisteo, NY for a family funeral. This Days Inn was closest available hotel about 15 minutes from funeral location.
The room was a bit on the small side. There were no irons or ironing boards. The staff dusts aroung objects instead of moving/ picking up objects. Pillows are adaquet but could be upgraded. Continental breakfast was nice - waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogert, 4 different types of coffee, orange and apple juice, apples and bannanas
Our first room had a bad cleaning in the bathroom. Since we understand that happens, we went to the front desk and they changed our room immediately. The next room was clean. Even though they were close to full, this was the quietest room I have had in many hotel stays. Very comfortable bed and always like the refrigerator and microwave at no extra charge.
The decor, furnishings, and overall infrastructure is obviously dated. The building appears to be a 1960's era box. Amenities are basic. The room and bath were clean. We believe that the facility met our minimum expectations considering the price we paid. We were visiting friends and doing some touring in the area and the facility was adequate as a base for doing that.
